OMG ! if there is one thing I want to be able to to do with a toaster it is to FIT SLICED BREAD IN IT to make TOAST !However the slots on this thing are only 140mm long so the top of my lovely 'Jacksons' sliced bread stick out of the top because you have to turn the bread on end to fit it in.So now I have a shiny new kitchen ornament that only toasts 7/8ths of me breakfast !I know I should send it back but I stomped on the box in my excitement before checking THAT BREAD WOULD ACTUALLY FIT IN IT, ARRRR !SO if you like two tone toast this is the machine for youPS.The slots on my old machine are 170mm long. This is a cheapened up version of the original TTM440 which was a nice toaster. The two versions seem to share the same Amazon listing. The original looked better, and made dry toast due to slow toasting.Mine blew up recently as toasters eventually tend to do, and I found it was screwed together with obscure security screws. So obscure are these screws that they aren't even on the Wikipedia page for security screws, not that that should surprise anyone.

I bought the four slice version of this toaster (not through Amazon. It has five settings and burns on setting 1. Also it completely dries out the bread so that it has the texture of cardboard. Truly the worst toaster I have ever had. I bought it because of the Kenwood name. A big mistake. I threw the box away as I had no idea it would be so bad. After just a few months the toaster is going in the bin.

Not as good as I thought it would be after going by other people's reviews.Slices of bread barley fit into the toaster. Also it burns the crust and leaves the rest under toasted.Should of kept my old one!
