Bought this due to purchasing a bread machine and realisng my bread knife wasn't up to cutting the crusty fresh bread.The electric knife worked fab at first as I just needed to place it on the fresh warm bread and press go.After a while, it now needs a little help to glide through the bread by applying a gentle sawing motion. Maybe this is how it's suppose to work but after the initial no nonsense gliding through...it has become a bit tedious having to saw manually again, albeit gentle and slow.

Purchased this Electric Knife as my old one stopped working after 20 years! The Kenwood Electric Knife I purchased as a replacement is ok but not as good as my previous one (which unfortunately is no longer available) Found the blades are slightly shorter & I don’t think quite as efficient as my old one. Plus point is it comes with another set of blades to use on frozen foods, no tried these yet so can’t comment on how good these are. Overall fairly happy with purchase.

The sleek lines and simple design make this electric knife a cut above the rest. It's a pity that we have to store it in the cupboard away from little fingers as if they got hold of it heaven help us. The blade does come with a cover which is good. The knife has two blades one of which is for frozen foods. It does look like it could quite easily cut through frozen items but I'm a wimp and would not even consider doing that. I use the knife for meat and bread mainly.

We use this electric knife for a variety of foods. eg Slicing large cakes for Craft/W.I. Fundraising Sales.Slicing my homemade Breads. Slicing our Meat joints from Beef/Pork/Turkey Breasts etc etc. A truly 'money saving' Product esp when having 10/12 people to lunch, it slices joints perfectly & the meat goes much further. Definitely wonderful quality & value for money. We highly recommend, especially as an ENGAGEMENT/WEDDING/NEW HOME GIFT.

I've had two of these electric knives before although, I hasten to add, were not not the Kenwood 650 Electric Knife. I would describe them as 'okay' but over a period of very limited usage they simply lost their efficiency. So far, the Kenwood KN650 Electric Knife has surpassed these other knives and I'm very pleased indeed with it. However only after a reasonably lengthy period of usage will I be able to report back its efficiency

As far as Electric Knifes go, this is the best I could find, there don't seem to be a wide variety of electric knifes around, and they don't make them like they used to, they lasted for years and performed well, so I am happy with this knife it the same one as I had before, but wanted something better! This was an exchange for the James Martin Electric Knife, which I took back as it struggled to cut, and lacked power.

I cant compare this with any other electric knife because it is the first time I have used one.However it does the job although I find it carves meat a little less quickly than I would have imagined and not so thin as I would like it to be. That could be down to experience so possibly in time I may become better at using it.Attaching/reattaching the blades for cleaning is easy.Overall i'm satisfied with it.

You really can not go wrong if you buy Kenwood products, and this is another great example of that fantastic Kenwood standard. Very easy to use, nice size to work with and the weight is good. Not feather light, but for an item such as this i think that would be a worry, but i could easily use this electric knife all day with out an issue. And a plus is that the 2 sets of blades can be washed in a dishwasher.

I bought this knife at the last minute to replace one that I had about 15 years ago and now wonder why I never replaced it before. I was tired of struggling with a traditional carving knife and this beauty took all the stress out of carving the Christmas turkey.It comes with two pairs of blades - the second for use on semi frozen foods.The only improvement would be to make this knife cordless :-)

This Kenwood electric knife was a replacement purchase - having bought my old one in the 1980's but sadly it gave up the ghost a week before Christmas. Had no trouble deciding which Brand to choose. Have only used it a couple times since purchase but it did what I expected i.e. cut the meat. Haven't used the second set of blades for cutting frozen meat but I'm sure it will perform perfectly.

I'm useless at cutting bread or carving, so thought this is the way to go. The knife is good, but you do have to put a bit of pressure when cutting through items. Still hasn't stopped me cutting things crooked which I can't stop doing! I'm pleased I've purchased this ready for the Turkey crown and leg of lamb for Xmas. otherwise they would look as though they have been run over!

I have only used it to cut bread so far. It comes with two sets of knifes which is good. it has does have a tenancy to create a lot of crumbs when used. I have reverted back to my old bread knife for cutting a loaf. It is a good product though and worth the money. However if you are only going to cut bread with it then buy a good manual knife with your money instead.

Good knife as had to carve whole turkey and gammon did the job kenwood is a good brand bought this for my daughter as I already still have one the only slight variation is on mine you push the button in and carve and the new one you have to keep the button depressed, however for the price it did the job and packs away nicely good product I would reccomend it

It comes with 2 types of blade, one for carving cooked meats & 1 for cutting frozen food or vegetables which is a plus in the kitchen and it's a lot easier on the arms too...and leaves things much easier in the kitchen when one is caught for time...I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone in the future, first class product.

The electric knife looks good and does not take up too much space. The 1.25 m cable is long enough for use in the kitchen, where there are plenty of sockets. If I wanted to use it at the dining table, I would need a mains extension. The handle is OK to use, but it could be more comfortable. However, for the price it is adequate for the job and functional.
