It's quality. The foam is firm and, while I imagine it will give with use, it looks like it will last. The rubber base keeps it firmly seated and the fabric cover is comfortable. I ordered from Cartridge Point via Amazon and the item arrived promptly and well-packaged.You should note that the given dimensions (59 x 15cm) are those of the packaging, not the item: rather misleading. Its approximate size is 44 x 8 x 2.5cm. I bought the item in hopes it would serve as a keyboard and mouse rest on my compact keyboard shelf (which is too small for an additional mouse pad/rest). I won't be returning it as I can use it at another machine but this is a glaring oversight.

I'm not entirely sure why the keyboard rest smells of stale cigarettes, but as a smoker, I found the aroma less off-putting than others might. Apart from that, it's a decent bit of kit. Nice and big, and although maybe a bit high if you sit quite low down, I'd be happy to recommend it to others.Sturdy, comfortable, stays in position and with the comforting whiff of an overflowing ashtray. What more can one ask for in a height adjustable keyboard rest? I'm assuming they don't all smell like that (or maybe it will fade over time), so don't let that put you off ordering what is essentially a quality product.

I previously had a gel wrist rest but lost this on a recent office move. After a while of trying to cope without a rest it became too uncomfortable and started causing me problems in my wrists, so I ordered one of these. The design seems well thought out and it works well, although I can't say I fully understand why the contours are necessary. It is made from lightweight foam which is comfortable and doesn't put a lot of pressure on your wrists, and it fits along the full length of the keyboard.Using this has improved the pain and discomfort in my wrists and for that it's well worth the price

This seems oddly designed in shape when you first receive it, but it actually works well as the pads are shaped to be in the best position for your wrists as you type on your keyboard. This one fits a full length keyboard that includes a number pad. The pads are firm but comfortable and smooth, so they don't rub and it has a non slip base. The only issue I would say I have it that it is a little bit thick and quite high, especially for some of the thinner keyboards that are becoming more common. Other than that, it is a good comfortable rest and at less than £9 it is very reasonably priced.

I’ve tried a few of these over the years, they all seem to offer similar comfort and support, this is longer than I’ve had which covers the keyboard from one end and includes the numerical side which is a first for me.The gel seems softer to the ones I’ve used, more like a pillow, most have been hard gel, the fabric is soft to the touch.Using it was good, always takes a while to get used to your hand being raised slightly but it does stop you suffering from wrist strain.Kensington has always been a top brand for me and this is a very good product, seems to be very well priced.

This is a wonderfully supportive, gel wrist rest that raises your wrist to the correct height for typing at a standard keyboard. The rest itself is almost 3 cm high, so will not suit all keyboard users, but it extends in shaped fashion along the length of my keyboard and with a separate area for the number pad, so my hands are supported no matter which keys I need to strike. The cover/outer is soft and doesn’t cause any irritation/chaffing to wrists as they move across the surface. It is a good option and has made a huge difference to a recent bout of (very painful) RSI..

I was never sure whether keyboard wrist rests actually do you want to advertise to do. A recent injury made me reconsider using a wrist rest and now I'm a wrist rest evangelist. This wrist rest is superb, providing excellent support with just the right amount of softness at a comfortable height. The only negative from my point of view is the notch to the right/number of side. I'm not quite sure if it's use but I would rather an even pad all the way across. This is purely a matter of personal taste as I'm sure others prefer the feeling of location that the notch provides.

The 'Kensington Height Adjustable Ergonomic Gel Keyboard Wrist Rest with Wrist Support Pad - 497 x 77 x 34 mm - Black (22701)' is a simple idea but highly effective in reducing wrist strain when using a computer keyboard. It comprises a reversible plastic base, approximately the length of a standard keyboard, and comes with a gel pad which can be set to two heights depending upon which way up you put the base (one side of the base is deeper than the other). The gel is thick and comfortable and makes a big difference when typing for extended periods.Great product.

I love this Kensington wrist rest, it is the most useful thing on my desk, apart from my laptop. I have a setup where my laptop is up on a stand and I use a connected keyboard and mouse - and I do a LOT of typing. This lovely piece of kit has been a complete blessing. All the arm and shoulder pain is now a thing of the past and working on the laptop has become a pleasure. It is supportive but soft, and the solidly formed bottom stays put on the desk - and the height is adjustable as well - not by much, but sometimes just a little change makes all the difference.

This is a good quality mouse mat. It has a fairly large surface area for good mouse travel and the wrist support is very good, providing a nice comfortable cushion when working. I can use this for a long time without any trouble. My mouse travelled on the surface easily and was accurate on screen, so does exactly what it says it does. The only slightly annoying thing is the slightly raised rim around the edge, causing the mouse to come to a complete halt when it touches it. Luckily the area is big enough for my settings that this does not happen often.

Does exactly what it says. I upgraded my keyboard from a thin laptop style one to a mechanical keyboard and with the increased height of the keys found I was encountering some strain on my wrists from the new position. I had a similar one at work (with a horrible moulded rubber strip running around the outside) and it helps so thought I'd buy one. After a week I'm already seeing the benefits as it's a much better position for my wrists and the strain is vastly reduced. Quality appears to be good, although we'll see how it stands the test of time.

As you may gather this is a standard foam wrist pad but it comes with a sort of plastic grating that you can flip one way or the other to adjust the height, this works but I prefer it without any grating at all - which it will also do. So it's quite flexible. The material is the standard shiny stretchy stuff and the foam is very firm.As far as I can tell the little notch in it is decorative as it doesn't seem to do anythingOverall it works and it's a good price at time of review so thumbs up.Oh, also it doesn't smell. Sometimes they smell.

Since going to an office job, I have encountered some discomfort in my wrist, so am glad I now have this product, though it's something I should have had since the beginning... If you already have an on-going issue, of course it's not going to help right away, but certainly makes the day more bearable; hopefully now I have this my wrist will slowly get on the mend.As for adjustability; the main pad pops out from the base and you simply flip the base over which adds a tad more height; but for me, the lowest option is just right.

This Keyboard Wrist Rest is one of the foam type rather than the softer gel ones and, as such, isn't quite as giving. It does support wrists well but because of its nature, it really needs to be placed correctly to work comfortably.I've used this at home and in the office and it does work if you take the time to place it, as well as sitting with the correct posture and your wrists out straight. I'm not a fan of the large plastic sides, though, as I think the foam itself could be raised further and the sides could be lower.
