This tire well replaced the OEM on my Diamondback hardtail. Said OEM had a tread pattern that I thought would be smoother than this Kenda, but no, the Kenda is just as smooth on pavement and tracks well on the fire roads, DG, and singletracks I frequent.It's refreshing to have it stick.EDIT: 600 miles later, I had to replace it as the tread was shot. I ride mostly hardpack dirt with loose gravel on it often. My back wheel kept spinning out and I couldn't get up anything.
