I work for a company who prides itself on being sustainable, so used to get scowls whenever I walked back in with my post-lunch coffee in a paper cup. Thus began my hunt for a good reusable cup (I have had plenty of others, generally they have been the larger types you get given as promotional items, and they all had their flaws).I seriously considered both the double-walled cups available from other sellers/manufacturers on Amazon, as well as the plastic KeepCups. Here's why I chose this one - and why I love it:KeepCup seem to know their customers well, and have chosen a design that just works. It's the right size so when you give it to someone at a coffee shop, they don't baulk at it's height (my other ones were always too tall). The lid sits well and seals well. The insulation band insulates, and the coffee doesn't cool too fast or slow (the latter can lead to bitterness, I find). It's glass, not plastic or metal. I have had coffee flasks with both and have found the taste of the coffee changes slightly (usually for the worse - particularly with plastic), so knew I wanted glass. It's not _too_ expensive so I didn't feel the cost was prohibitive. Plus I love the colour (I went for Fig, but there's plenty of choices and you can create your own on the official store site).I went for 12 oz, as I worked out this would be the appropriate size for most coffees. I have (90% of the time at least!) an Americano, and it's the perfect size for that.I went for the silicon band rather than cork as apparently the cork one shouldn't go in the dishwasher. Not really a problem for me as I always hand wash mine, but I wanted to ensure that if the office cleaners ever got hold of it and put it in the dishwasher, it would survive! I have no problem holding & carrying mine even when it's full of freshly brewed coffee.I don't think there's much more I can say that hasn't already been said. If you're thinking of getting one, I can highly recommend it!

I got back to work after maternity leave and I thought, why don't a treat myself with a coffee mug for the office as a comeback present to myself. After thorough research and browsing through Amazon, I came across this cutie. I was attracted to the design and vibrant colours. Before placing the order, I had the mug in my cart for days and it was out of stock and restocked during a day. I decided to buy it as soon as possible then, because I didn't want to be left without it. The pictures do the justice! The coffee from the coffee machine fits perfectly up to the edge. Since it's made out of glass the lid does not squeeze it tight when put on so the coffee does not spill. The lid itself is very firm and I find it very hard sometimes to get it off. That actually makes me more confident in the quality of the product. Also, the closure for the plug sipper hole is very handy and does not flip around, but has his place when not put over the sipping hole. Because I have my own mug, coffee is 10c cheaper in the canteen so it will pay itself off eventually :))

This coffee cup is a good solution for a mom, now I can drink my favorite hot drinks when my baby is around, without the danger of spilling the drink on him. Obviously I would not give this cup to a small child with a hot drink inside, it is not safe, but I think it is not meant to fit this purpose. However plastic version of this cup will suit the children to use it with cool drinks! It's light and spill-proof (unless they hold it upside down). I ordered this cup by choosing my own colours, everything arrived as expected. Some people complain that the glass gets hot. I see it as advantage, I can warm my hands on it when I am walking my baby in the pram (parents will understand how cold your hands get in winter). Thanks KeepCup!

Brilliant cup, love that is it glass unlike most travel cups doesnt have that funny taste that plastic or metal can have. Fits under the head on coffee machines which is exactly why I wanted it, most coffee shop chains knock money off if you use this instead of a disposable cup for takeaway. Not 100% leakproof i.e would not just throw in a bag while full but perfect for preventing spillages whilst in use. I lost the lid for mine after just a few days (my fault) so great to know you can buy all of the replacment parts on the keepcup website meaning it should last a really long time!

Love it. I've wanted a greener way of buying coffee that doesn't mean i bin a paper cup. This is better than most reusable coffee cups as it's made of glass and has funky colours. The lid is a bit awkward to pop on and remove, it's also not leak proof but is certainly spill proof, i can live with those things. It's also small enough to keep in my bag, so i find myself using it a lot more often than to just buy coffee, like get water anywhere.... or places where i need to decant drinks from the original container.

After being a little unsure at first, after using this cup for about a month I am now a convert. It feels very sturdy. I’m a little confused by the reviews which say the lid has a strong plastic smell - this is the first reusable cup I’ve ever owned that had no smell or plastic taste. The bottom line is that the coffee tastes like coffee, just as if you were drinking from a mug. The cup is easy to clean and feels very durable. I’m extremely happy!

It’s a good design and height. As seen in the photo, it fits wellUnder the coffee machine. The silicon lid is good and prevents any leakage or spills. But I don’t believe that this is really a thermal cup, because the coffee does not stay hot for a long time. It’s more like any normal glass cup which transfers heat at a regular pace and after 30 mins, the coffee is cold. So I can’t give it 5 stars because it’s not true to the name.

Arrived quickly, it's a very good thing to have and I've brought tea pretty much everywhere since! The only issues I have is that the lid can be a little difficult to take off, but that has to come as a side effect of being properly sealed, and that the heatproof segment around the middle isn't enough to carry comfortably for the first few minutes. However, overall, a brilliant product and I'm very pleased!

I use this as a normal glass at home and its good for out and about as well. Not entirely leak-proof and sometimes the lid takes a bit of pushing to get it on but at least it is secure. Doesnt taste weird which is aways a positive. Not too heavy but if like me, you have a heavy-ish handbag already, this is a noticeable increase in weight but if you are holding it, its almost nothing. Im a fan

Bought for me as a Christmas present so I could have tea/coffee on the go at uni. Preferred the glass over the plastic cups. I've not had it leak or spill on me but the best thing is this... I made a green tea in the glass and put the lid on, got called into labs, came back to my tea an hour later and it's still hot! Nice drinkable hot, not just luke warm - very impressed!!!

Handy cup that's great at stopping spillages whilst going upstairs etc. I also filled it with water and tipped it upside down and it didn't seem to leak. With it being glass I'm not sure I'd like to walk around outside or commute on public transport with it but for indoors it's great. Not insulated but the lid helps keep the heat in so your drinks stays warm a bit longer.

Great cup, helps avoid paper cup waste, the plastic lid picks up aromas (ok for me as it always contains coffee) & the plastic collar isn't great at insulating very hot drinks so it's sometimes hot to touch (the cork version is better in that respect). Being glass it's the first time I'd noticed the milk in coffee separate into layers, which is pretty cool :-)

Absolutely thrilled tastes so much nicer than drinking from a disposable cup. Even dropped it on a tiled floor and expected it to break but surprised that there was not a mark on it. The staff where take away drinks are purchased are impressed. It is also so good to know that when the beverage is comsumed the container is not adding to the mountain of waste.

I am usually late to work and barely have time to get a cup of coffee. I was happy to find this cup as it is convenient and pretty at the same time. It has a safe cap, so its quiet safe to take on the bus without worrying of spilling coffee on myself or other people. I also use it for fresh juices. Love it!

Good cups, don’t like the waste of using paper coffee cups so a great alternative. Sometimes kid doesn’t seal properly however that is due to the heat of the cups contents. Needs a thorough wash if changing drink types. However still a great cup and much better than one use cups
