These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. More comfortable then any shoe I ever had. I have skinny ankles and a narrow heel, but the front of my foot is somewhat wide in comparison. I was afraid to try Keen again because the ones l tried recently ran small and were way too tight in the toe area, so I had to return them. Also, because of so many bad reviews, I did not want to pay full price only to have the mesh rip after a few months. However, I saw a pair, in one size larger then I usually wear, that was listed as "almost new" on Amazon Warehouse so I decided to try it. Well, they fit better than any other sneakers I recently tried or tried in the past. For that reason, even if they don't last more then six months without ripping, for the fit and comfort, at the price I paid, I won't be too unhappy. I walk and hike a lot and need a good comfortable fit like these. Hopefully, not, but if the mesh rips, or anything else goes wrong too soon, I will come back and tell you how long it lasted before that happened. I can't tell you about waterproofing, yet, because I just got them and I don't know how well they will do on the hiking trails, either but they seem to be non-slip, at least on my floors and when I took a walk around the neighborhood.

I've had these only a week so can't comment on durability. I agonized over what size to order and finally decided to size up half a size because of review comments related to narrowness and the toe box. My Nike's are 10s and fit perfectly so I ordered a 10-1/2. When I first put them on, they seemed to slip in the heel. I put on heavier socks and they do not slip at all. I walked two and a half miles on the treadmill today in them and the support was adequate and they were very comfortable.. They are lightweight which I appreciate. I'm going to wear them next week when I travel to NY where it is supposed to rain all week. I'll update if the water proofing isn't effective.I think they are attractive and they don't seem to make my feet look more gigantic than they already are!

I wore these shoes on a bike trip in the Netherlands and they performed admirably. The soles have some stiffness which was good for biking and good for long hours on my feet sight-seeing. We had a full day of biking in the rain. While the shoes aren't waterproof, they did dry pretty quickly and they didn't feel soggy on my feet even while wet since the fabric seems to repel moisture. I appreciated the arch support, roomy toe box, and snug heels. I got this color because it was $50 less than the blue, but I actually came to like the quirky orange and rose combo. I don't think they would be very good for running, but should be good hikers. We're going on a bike and hike trip in Switzerland soon, and these will definitely be going with me.

I have been looking at this Keen for a bit. I tried them on in a store, but was put off by the price. I got these at a great price! The shoe is the comfort I expect from Keen, but seems more low profile, which I love. I have work Keen shoes for years, but they are kind of bulky. These are less so. I have not tested the waterproofing. The color is sort of strange, in my opinion. I don't even know how to describe it. Maybe that is why these cost less. I think the color will be best with jeans (not what I wore the first time I wore them) and either way, I'm keeping them because they are good shoes.

I plan to use these for trail hiking in Alaska and can easily wear these all day. They are extremely comfortable and needed very little breaking in. I have a wider foot, but don’t typically wear wide shoes. I look for a wider toe box and am generally good. These are perfect for my feet. I will wear for a while and revise comments if needed. If I could change one thing, I’d like a bit longer laces because I like a little more loop and don’t lace them really tight. But again, if you have narrower feet you won’t have this issue. Problem solved when I ordered longer laces.

I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding hiking shoes with enough toe room that aren't too wide. These are perfect for me and the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. And truly waterproof has been a game changer on my hikes. My first pair lasted a year and a half before getting holes at the bend marks (a common complaint in reviews) but they were still water proof even with the outer layer holes. I've already put over a 100 miles on the new pair and can tell that they too will wear holes in the same place but I love these shoes!

These are great hiking shoes! I have been wanting to buy a pair for years and finally took the leap when recommended for a trip to Seattle. They are much better if you are looking for a shoe with a good sole for hiking over uneven terrain and they also have a great ankle support even though they are shoes and not boots. I docked a star because the tongue is very long and when wearing ankle socks, I get a blister on the top of my foot from the tongue rubbing.

Sized down to 6.5 (from usual UK women's 7) based on other reviews which is perfect. Love the shoe - seems comfortable (although haven't been out on any serious walks yet), and just what I was looking for - a waterproof walking shoe that is reasonably stylish so could be used in the city as well as off road. The tweedy fabric is less brown (more black/grey) than expected based on some of the pics/descriptions I saw which I prefer.

Love these Keens. Having to walk a dog on the daily in the Pac NW, a person needs to invest in a good pair of waterproof shoes. These fit the bill. They are lightweight, yet sturdy. They fit snug, but not tight. They keep my feet dry and warm. I have what I consider a standard foot, with a bit of a wider toe base - and I prefer shoes with a wide toe box. These fit me just fine. There is a nice foam insert as well. Great shoe!

I wore these four days in a row while hiking the Dolomites in Italy. They were very comfortable and performed well on the mountain trails and when climbing rocks. I purchased a half size larger to make room for thick wool socks and they fit perfect. I was very happy to be blister free even after full days of hiking and climbing. No sores or soreness at all. I highly recommend these shoes for hiking and mountain trail running.

I got these shoes 8 months ago and the body (uppers) have fallen apart. Not tearing or ripping, but failing at crease points, and actually disintegrating! I do hike every day for 3+ miles with my dogs. Easy hikes in a county park, and, I was away for 2 of the 8 months! Keens are usually well made and well tested but they missed the mark on these. They were waterproof until they started disintegrating.

I read the reviews about it being too narrow so I knew this would be the hiking shoe for me. I am always an 8 or 8.5AA in street shoes and a 9AA in running shoes. I have a AAAA heel and am always troubled with heel slippage. This shoe in an 8.5M along with a thicker athletic sock is perfect. There is enough toe room for comfort on wet treks for my upcoming winter trip to Europe.

These shoes feel good on my feet. Not exceptional, but good. There is a little piece that connects the shoe tongue to the shoe which needs to be tucked in or it rubs (discovered on today’s 2nd wearing). No hikes yet but these feel sturdy for that purpose. Shoe laces stay tied w/o special knots. Thick hiking socks make this shoe too tight. I plan to wear with non-hiking socks.

I thought at first that they were less than perfect but I soon realized I was wrong. They're just about perfect. I was only disappointed that they looked much more lavender in the pic when I ordered them. They're very blue! But I wasn't disappointed enough to send them back and I'm just going to get them dirty anyway! But I might order another pair in black! Great shoes!

Great hiking and walking in a rain shoes. Light, good arch support, good traction. I usually wear 7.5 size, glad that decided to go a half-size larger- in case I need to wear thicker socks. Size 8 felt just right. Advise: go half-size larger if you live in a colder climate area. Overall good shoes, don’t look weird (like some hiking shoes). Happy with the purchase!
