A nice lightweight boot that ticked every box except one... there’s a ridge of hard plastic that hits you in the heal about 10cm up and rubs like hell! Makes them unwearable :-( I even went to a local shoe shop to see if it was just my pair but they were the same. Had to return them.UPDATE - I bought a brown pair from another shop when I saw them on sale. The ridge was still there but smaller and so were comfortable when worn with good socks. After a brief breaking in they became quite comfy. I've been walking lots through Nerang State forest which has many km of rocky paths and creek crossings.

I started wearing Gypsum Mid in construction work a few years ago and always found them very comfortable and hard wearing boot.My local store didn't have my size in stock about 6 months ago and talked me into buying Keen Koven instead - BIG MISTAKE! the Koven are nowhere near as comfortable and barely lasted 6 months.These Gypsum Mid II arrived last week and I have worn them every day to work since. The highest praise I can give them is that when people asked me "how are your new boots?", I replied that I had actually forgotten I was wearing new boots. They really do fit my feet so comfortably that I don't even know I'm wearing them. I'm a bricklayer on my feet 8 or 9 hours a day walking on various surfaces from mud and clay through to concrete,

I use these boots mainly for day hiking/hunting when I'm not under the weight of a multi-day pack. They are super comfy, lightweight and waterproof. The soles are nice and quiet which I've found great when stalking while hunting. I've had them almost fully submerged under water while crossing rivers and my feet have remained dry. On the one occasion they did get wet (I went into deep water that came in through the top of the boots) they dried quickly while I walked to my destination. I highly recommend these boots. They are ridiculously good value for money. I'd definitely buy these again when they need replacing.

It's always tough to replace an old loyal pair of boots. However, I am very pleased with these boots thus far and from day one they felt as if I had been wearing them for years. Have not really put them through the paces nor exposed to conditions requiring the waterproofing but I have no reason to believe they won't perform as expected. I considered many other brands and styles but so many others looked like winter boots vs a year-round boot that could be worn just about anywhere with a pair of jeans without looking ridiculous.Price was awesome at the time - paid about 30% less than I would have at local REI.

Bought these from somewhere else, they are the second pair of Keen boots I have owned. The are nice and wide in the toe area as I need a wide fit, these are fine in that respect. The insole can feel a bit firmer than other boots but is ok and the boots are very comfortable. My only beef about Keen boots is the sole. This is the second pair of boots I have worn the sole out in less than a year and bear in mind in Devon where I live it's so wet in the winter I have to wear wellies for 4 months. I contacted Keen EU and they replaced them no bother, but not good as I'm only walking the dog

This is my second pair of these boots(my first pair have lasted me three years so far and still going, they are too scuffed up for work) I love these boots, they are super comfortable and work great for my outdoorsy life style. I originally bought them for hiking (which they do very well, good grip, support, and comfort) and ended up wearing them every day for work. I spend a lot of my time standing/walking on concrete everyday and these boots are very good for that. I haven't had any issues with the sole separating from the shoe either.

Bought these to replace my Merrel Annex boots ehich have been excellent but are now worn out after 2 years. The keens are more of a proper walking boot than the Merrels so not really a more casual boot for every day wear.I wore the Merrels everywhere.Bought 9.5 size as reviews recommend half size bigger. They are a wide fit and a little big could have gotten away with my usual 9. Only used a couple of times for dog walking but they appear waterproof and comfy time and weather will tell.

I purchased these boots for multi-day backpacking in colder climates. I wore them all day at work straight out of the box with no issues. I took them on a 10 mile snow hike three days after I received them and they did amazing! Comfortable and durable. As they are waterproof, that are a little hot. So I would suggest they are used in cooler environments. Also, because my feet swell a little on long distance hikes, I always order my boots one half size larger and that works out perfectly.

Purchased these boots just before a trip to the Grand Canyon. They fit perfectly right out of the box (as I expected they would, as I have 2 other pair of Keen hiking shoes). Wore them constantly for several days with no break-in required. They are extremely comfortable and well made. I am very satisfied with the boots, their quality, gripping power of the soles, etc. Keen is my shoe brand of choice and these boots further confirm my commitment to Keen.

I really like these hikers. They are very light and very comfortable. The collar of the boot is just above the ankle and provides good stability. The quality appears to be good. if you wear orthotics, these boots are for you. I ordered one half size larger to accommodate my custom orthotics. The toe box has plenty of room for wearing a heavy sock. The mid boot is a bit more narrow than some other Keens that I have owned but I had no issue with that.

Usually I had been buying Txxxxxland because of the out of box comfort. Then last year I got my 1st pair of Keen. A little stiff but boy did the soles wear well and the outsides looked great a year later. Well I thought I'd try another pair. Boy was I surprised. At first I thought the box was empty. The boot is very light, extremely well made and true to size. Broken in out of the box. Please try this mid hiker, you won't he disappointed.

My husband loves these shoes, they fit well, they are heavy duty, stay dry as they are waterproof ( personally i am not on board with the chemicals involved in this but he loves this aspect) and are light weight. His last pair lasted well over a year being tortured. We live on a farm and his work day is not spent in a carpeted office. Firewood, fixing cars on concrete, hiking, grading the roads, these are his go to work boots

Excellent fit and support in all the right places. Really fast and easy to put on and take off with lacing system. Also, easy to adjust fit through lacing. Toe cap is great for rocky trails. Sole also gripped well on rocky and slippery trails. Have not tested the water proofness yet but it worked well for an all-day hike without building up to sweaty socks. No blisters from an all day hike.

Great boots. Took them hiking through Zion National Park and they held up like champs. I walked 30 miles in them the first two days and my feet couldn't have felt better. You can walk through puddles and small streams without getting wet. The ankle support helped prevent me turning my ankle on rocks. They breathe well, keeping my feet cool even in 100 degree plus days. Very easy to clean.

Light weight . Great traction and comfortable foot bed. Trails have been, hard pack snow , icy uneven gravel roads , temps between 7 and 30 degrees .My 4 instead of 5 star is it’s light weight construction in my mind may lessen the longevity of the boot. I have keen boots 5 plus years old and I still love them . I hope these boots prove me wrong. Note: I only wear keen boots. Period.
