I’ve worked for cosmetic companies and would consider myself a bit of an oeficionado on cosmetics! Since becoming a busy mum I’ve struggled to find a mascara that will last the day with a toddler-I’m cooking, cleaning, running around after her, jumping in puddles, wiping various foodstuffs out of my eyes that have been rejected, having a comfort blanket rubbed in my face, getting kissed, you name it! However I still like to look my best and for my makeup to stay put, I’ve never been the sort of person to constantly reapply throughout the day-even when I was working on the cosmetic counters. Having fairly oily skin, and working outdoors a lot in Orkney weather!, this mascara is a godsend. I've used it since it first came onto the market - I guess about 20 years ago. It stays on all day, whatever the weather or activity, and still looks great in the evening. You will never get panda eyes or need to retouch. Then it simply washes away in Hot water.If you need extra volume or length I recommend the separating / lengthening mascara in the same brand.I have sensitive eyes/ skin and have never had a problem with Kanebo.

This is a fabulous mascara which simply stays put. Even with mascaras which call themselves waterproof, I still get the dreaded black smudge under my eyes, but with this mascara, even in hot weather, I have never had any problems. Washes off with 38o water and that's that. I have always got 2 spares in case this product ever gets discontinued - I actually love it that much. Will never use anything else.

Ivana uses Kanebo Mascara 38° for the past 12 years this speaks for itself. Expensive but efficient. It does not leave ugly marks around one's eyes. Tends to become dry after a while. Not so appropriate for the lucky girl with long eye lashes. Perfect for me.

Best mascara I've ever used. No panda eyes, no need for expensive eye make up remover. Washes off brilliantly in luke warm water. Expnsive but worth every penny and one tube last me approximately 4 months and I use it every day and wear a lot!

This is the only mascara that stays on my eyelashes and doesn't flake off as the day progresses!It goes on easily, doesn't clump, separates and lengthens.Washes off easily with hot water.A great mascara!

I have used this product for years ,it's brilliant and does exactly what it claims ,waterproof to 38'c also very easy to remove, when it comes off it looks like eyelashes !!

Great mascara. No black ring under the eyes and so easy to remove with just water. However, I think it is overpriced here, even Harrods sells it for less!

I brought this for my mum. She usually has bad reactions to most make up brands but this one doesn't give her any troubles. It last really well.

Hands down THE best mascara on the market! I've tried and tried others that claim to be smudge proof...nothing delivers like Kanebo...

Expensive, but it really does do what is say's. I had a funeral recently and it did work well. Should have bought the black though.

I am not fully happy with the purchase cause the Mascara has arrived without original film cover. I can suspect it was pre-owned.

Amazing stuff! Through sweat, tears, heat and swimming pool, it didn't budge, but came off easily when I wanted it to. Must have!

Have used this make for many years and like it very much. Can now only buy it in Knightsbridge so Amazon saves me a journey.

I have very oily skin and most mascaras walk down my face. This stays put and comes of easily when I wash with warm water.
