When it comes to cables, you have a plethora of choices.I wanted to connect my laptop to the plasma TV. The problem was that I needed a long run of cable. I could have gone for a 3 meter length, but the wife was't too keen on the idea. It made the living room look 'untidy'. Funny, I didn't see it that way, but I did pick up on the potential tripping hazard. Anyway, I had to get the 10m length, this narrowed down the choices available.I decided to buy the Cable from KabelDirekt. An interesting choice of spelin. The cable arrived promptly. A thick diameter cable generally indicates a sign of good quality. It was easy to secure the cable using the rotating screws.The metal connectors have 24K gold-plated contacts.

There are so many VGA Cables on Amazon UK and this company (KabelDirekt) did advertise a variety of different sized VGA Cable's as well. I must say decided to go for the 2 metre cable, (as it was not too small or not to large either).It arrived at my home inside 48hrs from time of order, the Company KabelDirekt kept me posted via regular emails throughout.When I took the cable out of the packaging for a good 3 degree inspecction, I noticed how thick the quality of the cable actually was,A really thick but pliable material, also the Thumb screws to fix in the VGA Heads were the best I have seen yet, they were the main reason I decided to purchase based on the picture alone,

These cables are very good and I'm more than happy with the picture quality from my desktop computer to my HDTV.Reading some of the reviews on here I'd like to say to those who are not familiar with cables that the VGA cable only conveys a picture signal, No sound! You'll need an HMDI cable which will convey both the Picture and sound but these VGA cables are for the graphics/picture signal only. If you really need a VGA cable then you may want to include a 3.5mm sound cable which comes with a variety of different connectors at either end. (Male speaker jack connections at both ends in my case). One end of the sound cable plugs into the green socket (sound)

This is a superb VGA cable.I've been using an old VGA cable on my desktop pc for several years and regularly get a bad shadow in images. I put it down to an issue with the monitor but, when offered the opportunity to try this cable, decided it was worth a go. Needless to say, it has completely cleared the shadowing and the image is now perfect on my screen. It's only used for basic activities, but it's a good reliable tower pc when needed. Thankfully, I can now enjoy using it again.In terms of the quality, this cable is easily twice the thickness of the old one. The connectors are gold coloured and it has a premium feel to it. The screws are also nice and strong, with no play when done up.

My original VGA cable was a cheap and cheerful one, and over the last year I have noticed worsening interference effects (severe flicker/ghosting) on my 23 inch monitor (to be fair, the VGA cable runs in close proximity to the PC mains cable as well as other electrical connections). While this one may not be the absolute cheapest, it is still priced very reasonably, and having already had a positive experience with KabelDirekt's HDMI cable, I had no hesitation in going for their VGA one. I have not been disappointed - the display is now rock solid, sharp and bright. As mentioned by some other reviewers, the screws on the monitor plug end of the lead are not compatible with the socket on my monitor,

Reviewing the 5m VGA/SVGA cable - arrived within 24 hrs (under Amazon Prime) and initial indications are very favourable. The product has 'substance' to it and seems entirely fit for purpose. At this stage (20th April 2017) it has not been fully tested - that will take place shortly & and addition to the review will be made. If there was one small negative it's the fact that the 'screw threads' don't seem to want to connect with the receiving socket, but maybe that's just me not trying hard enough!Update (27th April)...have tested the product in a 'live' situation & has performed as expected...no picture ghosting & sharp focus - highly recommended.

I've given this 5 stars because the quality of the item is fantastic. the lead looks and feels high end. Robust and well insulated. I do however have one gripe about the title. Although the title is accurate.Title says full HD 1920x1080 - The VGA protocol can support 1920x1080 but please be aware that the the VGA input device my not support the protocol of 1920x1080. You should check the manufacture website/manual to see if the VGA input on your device supports 1980x1080. Some do but many older ones only support 1320x768. If you have a PC connected to a TV and its only 1320x768 if you buy this lead it will still be 1320x768.Cheers

After previously buying 2 other cheap VGA cables, I bit the bullet and got this, more expensive, higher quality cable. Really, I should have just got this cable in the first place.The 2 other cheap cables were fulfilled by Amazon, but one had dodgy connectors and the other suffered image quality issues. I ended up getting a refund on the first cable, and had to return the second one. I then decided to buy this cable, which is probably what I should have done in the first place.This is a very good, high quality VGA cable. Great image quality and really pleased with it.

The plugs are gold plated to ensure good conduction.Build.It is well made with good quality cable and plugs. The plugs have screw downs for added security and good connection.In use.This 2-metre cable is excellent, it works as it should. Signal quality is excellent and the plugs fit very securely.Overall.A useful cable to have around the office as we have lots of monitors and often have to cable in extra ones. Another excellent Kable Direct cable.

I needed a longer VGA cable for our security system, so I decided to order this cable on the mix feelings from other viewers but still ordered it as it was a reasonable priceThe build quality is outstanding as the cable feels well made and isn't your real thing once like we have had before that would cause video problems but not with this cable as the image quality is excellent for what we need it for as our monitor was an old 1080pWe have been using this cable for almost a month and are happy with the image and build quality that I would recommend it to anyone

This is a standard VGA cable with ferrite suppressors on. It is fairly thick, unlike some VGA cables, but I suspect this is because there are thicker wires in it, which can improve the quality of analogue data transfer, like that used in VGA. The cable was fine for connecting to a full HD screen.The connectors seem to be well made with good grips making them easier to disconnect when necessary. The gold plated contacts will help to ensure good connection. The connectors are also a little less bulky than most older VGA ones.So, practical and useful.

This KabelDirekt VGA cable feels solid and well made. It's very flexible and, unlike other VGA cables I've used, it doesn't maintain the coiled shape it arrived in. It uncoils to a straight cable and stays there. This makes it really easy to use in the wire laden area behind my computer. At two metres, it's a good, usable length but no so long that I end up with loads of excess. It's a bit thicker than most other VGA cables but that's no bad thing and it provides a great picture. Good quality and a reasonable price make this a five star product.

I have tried several cables in the past and most of them were not good quality. I connect my windows 7 Dell laptop to an IIyama 24" HD monitor and the resolution changes automatically to 1920x1080 which is the native resolution of the monitor. Other cheaper cables didn't change resolution to suit the monitor and some didn't even offer the option the select the resolution manually. So very pleased with my purchase. I received the cable within 24 hours of order as I am an Amazon Prime customer. This is a really good service.

I wanted a short cable to go between a HDMI to VGA converter attached to a Raspberry Pi and an old Dell monitor. It id the job well. The cables look very well made, and function as designed. The only problem I have, is the locking screws do not screw into the corresponding holes in either the VGA adapter or the monitor; they seem to be a different thread size. Fortunately the insertion force on the 15 pins seem to be more than sufficient to hold it in place, so on the whole I am more than happy with it

I needed to replace my VGA cable after my old cable decided to part company with me. This one had no reviews (hence why I'm writing what is a first review). The cable is solid and well built with good quality connectors. When I plugged it in, a vivid high quality picture appeared on the screen. I tried this with a full colour picture, a video with plenty of movement, a full HD video with loads of colour and movement. The conclusion is that it is brilliant with no ghosting or problems.Would recommend.
