I use these sunglasses exclusively for long-distance trail running, and they are perfect for this use. They are extremely lightweight, and the grippy bits on the temple and nosepiece are all grippy enough even when I've been sweating for hours. I eventually forget that they're on my face, which is the goal for any pair of athletic sunglasses. They are fairly flexible too, which initially I didn't care about too much, but it's an important feature because after hours of wearing them, they are neither too tight or too loose. I have a fairly wide head, and they have not stretched out, which is great. All that being said, I really bought them for the Reactiv lenses (Cat 0-3),and there are some things to be aware of when it comes to this technology. First, yes, the "0" is pretty much 100% clear. So that's great because you can (and I have) wear them at night (like in winter if it's snowing and you are that weirdo out running with a headlamp... like me). They will transition pretty quickly in direct sunlight, but they don't change back to clear as quickly as they change to dark. Not usually a problem, but good to know. Also, they transition most effectively when they are actually hit with direct sunlight. That means that if you're wearing a hat and/or if the sun is directly overhead, they might not get as dark as if the sun is at a lower angle and hitting the lenses directly (they still get dark enough, don't get me wrong, but they get darkest when they're hit with UV light from the Sun). Ironically, this makes them most useful around sunrise and sunset. This technology also means that they don't work well as driving glasses (i.e. don't rely on them in the car coming home after a long run - bring a pair of regular dark driving glasses!) because your car's windshield will cut the UV light from the sun's rays, and the lenses won't transition as much or as fast. So, don't think of them as your everyday dark glasses. They get 5 stars from me because I'm using them exclusively for trail running. They would work well for any outdoor activity with variable lighting conditions (cycling comes to mind). If you're planning on using them for other purposes as well, just understand the limitations of the Reactiv lenses before you commit.

A few long road trips with classic sunglasses quickly convinced me, for my survival, to switch to glasses cut for cycling. The lack of a frame at the bottom avoids a fatal blind spot, when you check over your shoulder what is happening behind. After having almost passed under a car that I had not seen, I quickly understood the principle ... As for the absence of the mount on the top, it preciously frees you the horizon when you are in aerodynamic position. With their insignificant weight, their comfortable supports and their large lenses, you quickly forget them. Photochromic lenses allow them to be used in summer as sunglasses and as simple protective glasses in winter or in low light. But the responsiveness to changes in light is not fast enough when you enter a dark tunnel ...

Very light and very well fitting glasses due to the self-young they adapt very well to the lighting conditions and due to the large glass surface good wind coverage, is used for trail running, does not slip even when walking downhill quickly

Glasses remain well on the face while cycling. Razor-sharp vision, good filtering of the light and yet not too dark. Pricey but no more hassle with changing lenses and no worries about changing weather conditions.

Quality glasses with top optics. This is not my first pair. In all circumstances, the lenses adapt to the brightness.
