Too many men's deodorants I find have a tart, spicy scent to them. Why is that? Personally, I much prefer something a little bit less 'in your face'. These, though, are, in my experience at least, notoriously difficult to find. Imagine my surprise and curiosity, then, when, whilst innocently scrolling through the options I came across a big orange can beaconing out at me bearing the words JOVAN MUSK!Instantly I was intrigued, having never even heard of the brand before. And so, with just a slight feeling of trepidation,I placed an order for one can, deciding to give the stuff a go. One can won't break the bank, and if I don't like it there doesn't have to be another.A couple of days later it arrived - a single 150 ml can packed in a huge cardboard box!

I first bought Jovan Musk deodorant several years ago. I used to be able to buy this in one of my local shops but for some strange reason the supplier stopped supplying them?The fragrance is quite unique and can't be confused with anything else that comes to mind. I would say that the smell is unmistakably masculine.Due to the difficulty in buying this I tend to only use it for special occasions which is a pity really as I would like to wear it more often.It's difficult to describe the smell, sweet, woody, flowery, all I can suggest is to buy some for yourself (if you are male) or get someone else to buy it for you.Not wishing to be classed sexist, I really do believe that it is best suited to men,

Takes me back to the 90s.Yes, i have to admit i purchased this product for a nostalgia trip. Upon arriving i quickly poured a glass of wine, put some old school tunes on and jumped in the bath. Feeling completely retro after my quick dip i put Jovan on....... YES exactly how i remember it, but something was different, it smelt new, fresh, up to date and competing with all of the "current" smells out there.. in fact it didn't just compete with them it actually blew them away. It does smell exactly the same but it musk *get it* be that i haven't wore it for 20+ years. If you are in you 30s (or your guy is) purchase it, actually scrap that buy it anyway they will love it.

Jovan Musk oil deodorant is a name from the past that I had thoughtnever to hear of again as it disappeared from the high street shops some years ago.Imagine,then,my surpise when I saw it available on Amazon.I purchased it immediately and it is everything I remember it to be.You really can't go wrong with it as it has a distinctive clean muskiness about itthat sets it apart from other deodorant sprays and at the price it's set at it's a real bargain.Try it along with the aftershave and the cologne a truly great trio!

First let me make it clear that I like the smell of musk. It does take you back to a time of generally organic drugs, before government policy caused massive addiction and death rates and led to the artificial rubbish around these days that nobody in their right mind should use. However, I have used it sparingly on two occasions. On both occasions I have been given a lift in someone else's car (both female drivers). On both occasions I have been asked to open the window. Coincidence?

My husband uses this every day and it is hard to find in stores. Good to know I can find it online for him. He smells so wonderful and other people ask what he is wearing because he always smells good. The online price is less expensive than buying it in the store. I have stocked up on this Musk before the Rollback goes away!

I was just looking for something to bulk up my order to £20 for free postage,having enough shower gel to last three lifetimes,and saw this product from the dim and distant...very nice! An alternative add on to the Lynx gels---and a relief.I was having to shower six times a day just to it up!

Rating this as a product and not on the scent because the scent wasn't my cup of tea but the quality of it all was fantastic. Could smell it even at the end of a physical work day. No gassy smells like some cheap deodorants. Would recommend especially if the scent is your thing.

Very nice fragrance. Was in a dilemma in the beginning whether to buy it or not but very happy to have bought it in the end. Was looking for a nice, soft fragrance and at last found it. Very satisfied with the purchase. Would highly recommend.

My sons & husband all use this wonderful Jovan, the smell is not over powering but it lasts a long time. I also love the female perfume. The order was a little slow BUT as it is in the Christmas post it still came in time, well wrapped.

best price and place to buy this deodorant ...a classic smell....and get comments on this always when out and about...and one of the deoderonts I don't react to....smells dearer than it is

I used to but this in the UK in the 80's and 90's but couldn't find it anymore, bought it in the States last time I was there, glad its available from Amazon, really good product.

nice smell ant an amazing price! lingers for sometime also as i have found previously with some cheaper deodorants the smell fades however this is not the case with this product.

Was always my every day after/ Shave deodorant but thought it had gone until my daughter found it and said “ always reminds me of when you used to wear it” had to go back to it

Always liked the smell of this and that it lasts most of the day.Very expensive when you find it in the shops so it was good to find a supplier at reasonable prices on Amazon
