We bought this car seat for my 4 year old son for my mother in laws car and after lots of looking around and reading lots of reviews we decided to buy the joie elevate, we are really happy with this car seat, it's comfortable for my son and he loves the cup holder, my only downfall is that the harness is quite tight on him and there isn't any more room. To adjust the harness to make it a little looser to fit where it would need too, however it is fine for now and overall we are happy. I should say too that once you know how to put it together it's quite easy x

I bought this seat for my great niece, because having to transfer mum and dads seat every time I looked after her is a pain. Well the seat is what I expected it to be, and the safest way to transport precious cargo, however the straps in my opinion would have been better if they had been longer so the harness could be used for longer, my niece is only two but a little bigger than average but I am not happy to take her out of the harness yet. For me this is the only thing that lets the seat down.

I needed the chair in a hurry to pick up my grand-daughter from nursery (family crisis) but unfortunately couldn't assemble it on my own in the car park as the 2 parts were very difficult to join and I couldn't make it safe. My husband struggled with it too so I don't think is was me being feeble. However, now that it's built and installed in my car it's the B's knees. My grand-daughter loves it and it matches the seat colours in my car so looks ace. Very happy with it despite it's dodgy start.

This is a very roomy car seat. I think because it's got open arm rests it's easier to get your child in and out of rather than the moulded bucket shaped one's. However, my granddaughter is two and can support her own head of she falls asleep , this car seat has zero recline so a younger child may not be very comfortable if it falls to sleep. I like the ease of the safety buckle i have struggled in the past with others but this is nice and easy. I feel confident driving with my granddaughter.

There are several awesome things about this product and the first is the 9m+ (group 1) part of this is amazinf. With most car seats you have to undo all the straps to move them up a level. This one it moves with the headrest so as your child grows you just move the head rest and the straps higher with it. The clip is a kriscross design of the buckle clips, which makes clipping in even easier and faster. Installing it with the seatbelt is quick and simple to do and incredibly secure.

Unfortunately my car seat would not accommodate this product and despite the assistance of the manufacturers customer support team I had to return the seat in favour of a Isofix style baby seat. I would suggest that before making a purchase one investigates if a belt secured seat will fit properly in your vehicle. Cars that use a bucket type seat in the rear or those that are not flat will probably be suited to the Isofix type. My car is an Infinity Q50, same issue with a Peugeot 207cc.

Have to click back part to seat part forcefully .. watched how to on you-tube. Is lighter and more upright than the other Joie car seat used by mummy of grandchild but has a cup holder and arm rests which are useful. The only criticism is the clip which holds the seat belt in place is on the back of the seat so knelt my full body weight in seat and pulled seat-belt 'forwards' keeping clip open, when tight as could get pulled it backwards in place letting clip close to ensure seat rigid.

bought this for our Grandson and will buy another for our granddaughter. looks good doesn't take up much room and is easy to fit. It is slightly too big for our granddaughter at present even though it says from 9kg and 9 months, she is 14 months but is very tiny bless her so will wait for a while before purchasing for her, but our Grandson loves it. Only gave a 4 star rating for comfort as the side padding on the main body is a little thin but excellent value for money and worth a try !

Love this car seat. So easy to fit and then just strap baby in. My baby is small for her age. So at 2 years old but only 9.3kg this is perfect for her and imagine it is going to last a very long time as the head rest grows as the baby does. Heard reviews about cup holder falling off but there isn't a chance it could fall off as it is quite hard to click in in the first place so maybe others haven't clicked it in properly. But cup holder is there to stay. Best thing is baby loves it too

We haven't used it that much as it is a 4th extra seat for a family members car and so will get occasional use. He seems to like it and the cup holder is a great idea for long journeys. I found it quite hard to put together as you need quite a lot of brute force and I was scared of breaking it as the plastics is quite flimsy. Not sure it will last until he is 9 like suggested as he is only 3 but it is okay for now. Quite hard to fit in the car and it moves around quite a fair bit.

Needed a spare car seat for my daughter as the one I use in my mothers car was to complicated to get in and out. Really easy to fit literally takes seconds. And my daughter loves being in it she's normally fussy with seats but she loves this one. Could be abit more cushioned though, and I don't think it would be suitable for a child 1 year old unless they were tall for there age as mine is almost 2 years and she still look a little small for it. Other than that really good bargain

When I finally worked out how to click the base onto the back of the seat and installed it, it seems like quite a good seat. I found the enclosed instructions very unhelpful but thankfully worked it out on my own. My son seems happy with the seat and can look around on journeys - and fall asleep in it! The shoulder straps are a bit awkward to pull round the shoulders and I have found that I have to dig out the buckles from under my son every time I put him into the seat.

Purchased for occasional use when I pick my grandson up from nursery. I found getting the back on very difficult so had to call my son for help but he did it in seconds. Fitting it in my 10 year old ford fiesta was another problem but we did it eventually and being as the seat is for very short journeys I decided to keep it though it does move slightly. Little grandson looks comfortable in it and the straps are much easier to adjust than a previous seat I had.

~This is a great seat. It's the second one (bought an identical one 18 months ago for my 1st granddaughter). Once assembled, it's easy to fit in the car, looks good and is lightweight. I was very happy with the first one and this one is even better as the straps are easier to release and lengthen. The first one feels a bit stiff (needs a lot more elbow greece to lenthen the straps, so the newer model is much improved in that respect.

As a grandparent who looks after grandson 3 days a week it became obvious that I needed to purchase a car seat instead of the hassle of taking my daughter's out of her car and transferring it to mine every time he came round. I couldn't afford to spend a fortune but this seat was a reasonable price and was on offer too at the time of purchase. I ordered it online and picked it up the same day. Excellent product and excellent service
