I'm not sure a word has been designated yet to accurately describe what my hair looks like once it has been washed and blow-dried. It's part frizz, part Afro, part wind-bush, and part Hell. As such, nothing really calms it aside from a few minutes on the GHDs or a good old fashioned shave to the skull. My wife though does have more traditionally frizzy hair in that after washing and drying it looks a little puffy. This shampoo works well for her, so she claims, meaning brushing and styling afterwards is much easier but for me there isn't any noticeable difference - if I try to run a comb through my hair, said comb is simply absorbed into the muff as always and so begins the struggle to free it from my clutches once again.

I was particularly keen to give this a try, since my hair was like straw after a bad bout of dye disasters and a three-times-yearly perm. The combination of chemicals, dye and bleach had left my hair in an awful state, and my hairdresser had recommended some intensive shampoo and conditioner to help it recover. And the good news is this seems to be working! I've been using it for about a month now, every other day, and my hair is a lot less straw-like, much softer and less prone to breakage.One downside - the shampoo is more runny than other shampoos I've used, so it starts running out of the hole as soon as I open the cap, so I often use more than I want to.

I am a fan of John Frieda products for hair, I have been using them for many years and they are a really good product at a mid range price. This is a recovery shampoo that is very moisturising no lovely and thick. This tube will last a very long time as you only need a little and it makes an impressive lather.I wanted to try this as my hair has been really out of condition as I have not been well and my hair was a bit neglected. This recovery shampoo really nourished and conditioned my hair. The scent is lovely too, I do not,think for me it is suitable to be used all the time more for when you have been swimming, or like me after getting over an illness. All in all a,lovely shampoo that does exactly what it says it is going too.

My grand daughter has very long, thick hair that has a tendency to frizz, so I was hoping that this John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Shampoo would help to tame some of the frizziness. The shampoo is in a big tube, easy to use, easy to apply, and washes out well.I found that it didn't lather up as much as I'd expected, so I had to be careful, as on the first use, I used far too much product, trying to get a lather. Once I got the application right, it was fine. I found that it did help a little with frizz, but as yet, has not tamed it! I think this shampoo may be more effective on hair that is shorter and finer than my grand daughters, but it gives a thorough clean, and perhaps the more we use it,

I've been using John Frieda's Frizz Ease for years - and it really is the very best frizz reducing product range on the market. The fragrance is fresh and appealing - not too strong but enough to make your hair small lovely.You only need a relatively small amount of the product - it spreads and covers the hair well. Longer and thicker her will obviously need more!If you use all the products in the range...i.e. the shampoo, conditioner, serum, spray etc.. you will have a great frizz reducing programme to ensure your hair is glossy, swishy and not frizzy. And best of all, the range is relatively inexpensive.A good buy and highly recommended.

Lovely thick, creamy texture which leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. Has a gentle, fresh scent which is pleasant and not at all over powering. I only need to wash my hair once, not twice, and a little shampoo goes a long way due to the thicker formula. Easy to rinse out. For fine hair like mine this is a product you'd probably not use every day. It does tend to make my hair look quite flat if I use it regularly so I use it a couple of times a week when I've been swimming and need a more intense shampoo to put the condition back in. Helps to control static and smooths split ends. Nice product and I love the fragrance.

Frizz be gone! It's a good shampoo, and it does indeed ease frizz. As a shampoo, we found others in the JF range works every so slightly better, but as this is a combination product we can forgive it. It is easy to use, rinses clear and does not leave residues, and it's aroma is not unpleasant. If frizz is a problem for you, we'd certainly recommend giving this shampoo a go. It's not cheap but it is very effective. We don't use it all the time, but just when frizz is noticeable. It doesn't seem to clash with any other JF shampoo we've tried (we've tested quite a few in the range this month here on Amazon).

I had my hair permed just before the Coronavirus lockdown began 11 weeks ago. I’ve used three John Frieda products since I realised it was going to be a long time before I could have a cut and re-perm. I’ve used the Frizz Ease Shampoo, Conditioner and styling mousse and have to say I think it is actually magic! My hair is dry, strong and grows quickly and the curls were beginning to look a bit sad but after using these products my curls still look like curls and my hair feels silky and soft and bouncy. Someone remarked that it was “happy hair”. Thoroughly recommend.

I very much like this shampoo.I wash my hair daily and sometimes that does take its toll. The shampoo is creamy and gives a strong lather. It smells lovely. You don't need very much - I'd say start with about half of what you'd normally use and see how that goes. The shampoo left my hair tamed and shiny.Minor negative - it's incredibly runny, and you can't see how much has been used.This is a large tube and considering how little I needed, it has proved excellent value for money, and I have gone on to become a customer and purchased a further tube.

I've used the anti frizz shampoo and conditioner together. Both are packaged in tubes which stand on their end, great as the product is always ready to be squeezed out of the tube, but the shampoo which is a little runnier than the conditioner can get messy around the lid.Having been using the products together for several weeks and have blow dried my hair after use but not added any styling products. My hair is which is pretty wild and unmanageable has looked pretty smooth, even after 4 hours outside in light drizzle/rain. Really impressive.

I so needed this as I have wrecked my hair with too hot tongs and the back of my hair had become all frazzled and frizzy. I was worried that I would have to get it cut short as even after conditioning, it still was frizzy and rough. This has saved it! It actually is a miracle cure for frizzy, damaged hair. My hair is smooth and healthy again and I will not be using the tongs anymore. This also smells great and is very rich so you only need a small amount. If you have damaged hair, I thoroughly recommend this.

This is a very moisturising shampoo which is I find is great to use after you have put your hair through a lot of treatments and products as it really gets into my hair and stops the crunchy, dried out feeling.I do find it a little heavy to use as a daily shampoo and conditioner set because it is so moisturising so tend to use it only after big nights out or a lot of sun exposure.It deals with fine flyaway hairs and frizzy dry hairs and leaves my hair shiny and glossy and ready for the next round of abuse!

This is a pleasant, if runny, shampoo which did indeed make my hair smoother and more manageable. I liked it, but not the upside down packaging which was quite difficult to manage with one hand while holding a shower handle in the other. The flip lid didn't close easily, the runny contents spilled out and I ended up having to put the shower down and devote both hands to the task of closing the lid.The shampoo itself lathers well and I liked the results.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner, very big bottles and a good price.I did have a hurdle to overcome - how to open the pump! It wasn’t like your usual pump BUT I did it in the end.If you turn the bottle upside down and squeeze, turn it the right way up, twist the nozzle and it springs up!I really love this shampoo and conditioner combo and I will be buying it again, left my hair looking and feeling very sleek.I give this product 10/10!

Great product. It has left my hair soft but less frizzy. It is in no way a miracle product and my hair does require some styling afterwards but the frizz has definitely improved. My hairdresser recommended this as she said that it would be good for my bonded hair extensions, I have to agree. It does not leave a build up of product at the root and smells nice without being overpowering.
