Simple gameplay makes this an adiictive game; move jewels to make rows of three or more to remove them. Simple. In theory yes, in practice its a bit more tricky.Designed as a game for women, Jewel Quest is addictive fun. My wife had a copy on the PC and as I use the PC for work she wanted a verion for the DSi. Its almost identical in game play and graphics with the graphics spread across both screens. A novel addition is the blow featyre in which you get a certain power up and can blow on the microphone to randomly mix up the jewels; beware it can wreck the layout you have been building towrds.My wife loves this and is on it most nights when she isn't doing her embroidery; just can't get her

We bought this for our son for his birthday and I think we (mum and dad) have played with it more than he has - in fact Dad is playing it as I write this!!!!. It starts off quite easy but as you get further onto the other levels it get harder especially if you play it in 'Play' mode as this has timed levels - each level is given a certain amount of time to complete it in eg 5 mins, 7 mins etc. Or it can be played in 'Relaxed Play' which isn't timed so you can play each level until it is complete. We love it - so much so that we have a fight to see who can get the DSi first!!!

The game has 3 play modes, PLAY which is timed, RELAXED no time limit, and HOTSEAT where 2 players times are compared, the fastest winsThere are 150 levels in each mode,(the higher numbered games take more time to complete)I have completed all levels in PLAY mode once and all levels in RELAXED mode three times, and i am still not bored with itGlad i bought itYou can switch off the twinkling, by pressing the X key, it doesn't remove it 100%, but cuts it down by enough for me to be able to play itLike jewel match 2 even better

I have played them all and this is the best ..it plays true to the PC version but with the added bonus of being super responsive to the stylus and completely accurate...no wrong moves where the jewel next to the one you touched moves instead....therefore no frustration...the full just one more level that turns into ten levels played and an hour lost before you know it experience!!!Highly recommend and excellent value..as a plus it is pleasant to have thevolume up as the sound effects/music adds to the game rather than detracts!

A friend felt this was the closest DS game to Bejewelled Blitz. It doesn't really come close. In its own right it is a good game but does not have the action that 'Blitz' has. This game is based on clearing layers of jewels by matching 3. As you clear the gold layer the silver layer then has to be cleared and so on. I haven't yet fully worked out how to effectively use the 'hammers' but I am getting there. It is rather repetitious but it is quite addictive.

I have tried many puzzle games since having my ds and none really captured me like Puzzle Quest; Challenge of the Warlords.But I have found it.This is exactly as the previous reviewer says like the pc version.It's straight forward and uncomplicated but extremely addictive.If you like complex games then this isn't for you but if you like a game that you can get lost in or even just dip in and out of then this is the one.

With 150 increasingly difficult levels, this is a fine addition to any Nintendo DS library. It is not wrapped around any particular story line, as with others of this genre; it is simply about winning each level. You can choose whichever level you wish to play, once all are completed, and your score does not need to be reset; it will continue to grow and grow as you continue to play.Really enjoyable.

Great game - lots of different match 3 screens to go through - great for passing time on a plane, easy to pick up and put down. All match 3 - but there are some interesting little bits and pieces added - overall a great little game - many levels - and I still haven't managed to complete all of them. Simple, fun, addictive and always in great demand from my family.

Having done these games in reverse order, 3, 2 and then 1, it was quite enjoyable and the usual match three format. I did, however, get stuck on the last level, and have not yet resolved this. The game got increasingly difficult as it went along, but this is the usual thing with any game, so is to be expected.

I bought this game after returning the Bejewelled Twist game because it wouldn't work in my DSiXL console. This game had good reviews so I thought it would be a good second choice, and I was right. I find it highly addictive and a great alternative to Bejewelled Twist. I am very glad I bought it.

When I brought this game for a gift, and I was interested to buy it and they were not wrong and that colored stones and diamonds and gold, with the hammer makes an entertaining puzzle game at home or away from home when you have to travel . Recommended.

If you really like these types of games then it is probably a lot of fun. It wasn't for me and found it a bit boring but nothing to do with the game. t was just not my taste..hence still rated it a 4

Got this for Christmas. Haven't had so much fun in ages. Its addictive, reasonably hard at times but not enough to put you off. I found it difficult to put down. One of the best games ever.

This has both myself and my six year old daughter totally hooked. I can play for hours on end thinking I'll just clear one more level, then one more level... Simple concept, great fun.

My mum loves bejewelled and has enjoyed playing this game as much :) I purchased this for her to start on the nintendo ds and she has really liked it. The game came quickly!
