Really delighted with my purchase. Bought it as temporary bed as I am waiting for a sofa bed which required few weeks before delivery. This bed is so comfortable, light and easy to fold back and store in small places. To make it more comfortable I added a mattress top up (cheap one from Argos) of standard single bed with elastics that keep it in place and use a standard fitter sheet which is same size as the topper. I sleep like a baby and I can't believe how good this bed is. Highly recommended

Mattress not as deep as photo and when lying on it it could do with being wider as the metal bars are then exposed because with weight you sink in like a trampoline. My daughter loves it as her friends sleepover bed we have it out all the time so the space underneath is great for storage and its low enough for the feet end to fit under her midi bed making it a cool arrangement. I slept on it one night i'm average size and got a really good sleep. Mines is used constantly so well worth the money.

We have my brother in law staying on his trip from Australia so my 12 yr old (adult sized) daughter, has given up her bed. We had a Z bed mattress for the floor but this was now no good - she is taller than me. I bought this bed & was a little concerned about the 'thin-ness' of the mattress but I put a double mattress topper, folded singly, on top, and she's slept fine...infact I couldn't get her up for school. So all in all, well worth the £15 I paid as used £30 of Nectar points for the main.

The wife is in late pregnancy, apparently this can make falling asleep difficult(what do I know cause never been pregnant) my snoring now being a problem and contantly being poked in my sleep i took up my pillow and went to living room!! Well apparently this too was problem because I was now pressing out the seats of our new sofa and I found the ground a bit tough! Naturally when I saw this on the Argos website it was a no brainer! Good sleep ever night and might stay here when baby comes home!!

Bought this when my 11 year old son broke his foot and was unable to climb the ladder to his highsleeper. Lightweight, which means it is a little wobbly but as soon as you sit/lie on it it feels stable/sturdy. Mattress is quite thin, but comfortable enough for 1/2 nights, we ended up putting a duvet on top of the mattress as my son was sleeping on here for a few weeks. The mattress even survived a wash in the washing machine. Overall a good occasional bed, will come in handy for sleepovers.

We purchased this for a guest coming over. Bed was very easy to assemble within seconds without any hassle. I tried it myself and I honestly found it to be more comfortable than my double bed! Very study for sleeping throughout the night or resting during the day. Brilliant purchase and I haven't had any problems with it so far. Did I forget to mention how easy it is to stow away?! I highly recommend it to those looking to get a good value guest bed without breaking the bank. Worth every penny!

This was an emergency purchase, as our cat had popped our inflatable matresses, and we needed something for a guest to sleep on. Was surprised with how comfy it was even with what seemed to be a flimsy, thin matress that it comes with. It's supportive and is like sleeping on a cushioned trampoline. Easy to put up and fold back down. Would have liked it to be slightly wider, I suppose, (especially for people who move a lot in their sleep) but it does the job and was a nice price for the quality.

Easy to assemble but not as easy as I thought it would be. A bit awkward putting the mattress on as you have to take it out from between the legs first then turn the bed over. End legs need a bit of force to make them stay put and it has a habit of bending up again if your not careful. Mattress a bit lumpy on first night but ok after that. As an emergency bed and used occasionally good value. Can easily be carried from room to room as it is very light and can easily be transported in the car.

Bought two of these for camping trips and I have to say that all though the thin looking mattress might make you think they would be uncomfortable, beleive me they aren't. They fold out and back away with the minimum of fuss, they don't sag when you lay on them (I thought they would) and because of the sprung base working in conjunction with the mattress it is actually very comfortable. No hesitation in recommending these as the frame which is substantial, comes with a lifetime guarantee.

I ordered this Jay-Be bed following a six week delay on a bed and mattress I had ordered elsewhere. With a house move looming within days, I needed something to sleep in until the other bed arrives. The Jay-Be bed is well made and easy to assemble. Good to know that the Jay-Be beds are all made in Britain. I ordered the bed on Argos same day delivery: bed ordered at 4.50pm on a Friday and got to me at 7.10pm same evening. That is is superb and the delivery driver was cheerful and friendly.

Well, what can I say...Upon receiving the news I had Conjunctivitis I received my marching orders to go sleep in the spare room! I know, just out of order! The spare room had no bed! Not good. I looked online and found the JayBe Value Single Folding Guest Bed.Very easy to open up and throw the thin mattress on..."thin mattress?" I hear you say...yes, thin...but very very comfy! In fact, comfier than my bed!I will end this quick review by saying this....I'm staying in the spare room!

I have to say I was concerned after reading reviews that it was too short etc, RUBBISH..same length as a single, it was AMAZING for comfort, I couldn’t believe it. I put a duvet under me just in case and have to tell you I slept on it for ten days while waiting for my new divan to arrive and I was SHOCKED at how comfy it was..If it was higher I would have kept it up and used it in the guest room..AMAZING comfort, don’t hesitate, no springs or discomfort just a great nights sleep..im 60..

Bought this as an occasional bed when staying with relatives to replace an inflatable mattress which always has you waking up flat on the floor the next morning. After reading the reviews opted for this one and was so impressed, it’s compact, a breeze to put up and really was very comfy that it would be more than ok to stay a few nights on it. I thought it would really only be good for children but it is definitely sturdy enough and gives excellent support for an adult. Highly recommend!

My brother who first bought one of this bed then I bought it as a present for a friend of mine who owns a restaurant which shut between 3 and 5 everyday and my friend "the chef" love to take a nap ilat the restaurant in those hours so I thought of buying him and gosh does he love it, it's comfortable and very easy to fold up and would not take a space to store plus wonce it's folded it light and easy to carry, really good price for such an item, in top of all that it comes with mattress.

My daughter come to live with me & I bought this bed as temporary option to sleep on. I asked her other day if she still wanted pine bed or metal framed bed for her homework and to play xbox games, she wanted to stay on guest bed because 1 its comfy & 2 its easy to fold away as her friends come round to dance. For the foreseeable future and so long she does not complain being uncomfortable, she can keep the bed for now, we will see how it goes. This bed is more than fit for purpose. :-)
