The bed was delivered by Argos, no setting up required, the bed was very comfortable a really good night's sleep, the only issue is opening & closing the bed is not ideal for someone elderly or with any disability or mobility issues, quite heavy but due to having a proper single mattress on the bed makes it bulky, but once stowed away its compact, also to lock the mattress once together the wheels have to all face the same way to ensure the mattress is secure in a locked position!

It’s a bit heavy to put up and down for an old person like me as it has to be be put up nightly. As my husband can’t go upstairs any more. But I have to say it’s a fantastic bed when put up. My husband is no light weight So no use a flimsy bed. The mattress is really thick for a fold up bed. So I suppose that’s what makes it heavy. A couple of handles on the sine of the mattress would be handy.

We have a few fold up beds for quests and by far this was the best. The teenage granddaughter and the younger granddaughter have both slept in this and they like it. I would suggest you check the measurements though, as it is bigger than some we have had. It has quite a soft mattress not firm and the base seems very solid. I put normal sized fitted sheets on this and normal single sized duvet.

Ordered bed 17/12 failed to be delivered 18/12 as stated. Wrong bed delivered 19/12. Very customer service poor had to contact supplier Jaybe directly myself 20/12 who were fantastic. Wrong bed collected within 1hr of call new bed delivered first thing 21/12. Bed is excellent well made comfortable mattress and the company are a dream to deal with. Highly recommend JayBe and their products.

Why did I wait to buy this fantastic fold up bed . I bought another cheaper Jaybee bed , false economy .I have to sleep on this permanently and the cheaper version doesn't suffice for this , but this bed is the business .6 or 8 inch mattress and designed for long term use .So comfortable I wish I'd bought it sooner .Well worth the money

Perfect to fold away when not in use the only downside is that after a few times of being folded away the mattress looses it's bounce in the middle. This can be fixed by flipping the mattress before it's used. Otherwise very comfortable and sturdy. Also love the wooden end as it can be used to store the bedding on during the day.

Purchased this for an elderly relative who has limited mobility and who has arthritis was staying with us for the Xmas hols. Unfortunately this bed never got used or came out of the box as my relative was to ill to spend Xmas with us . So I'm returning.But I will say it did take 2 people to lift the box in to my dinning room.

I found the bed easy to unpack and to arrange for use. It is sturdy, attractive for what it is and very comfortable.It is currently in use and the user has managed the best night's sleep in ages. Top class! One small thing: The was no cover provided and the item does have one in its manufacture. Small consideration, though.

I brought this bed as was having problems with my previous one which was a double, but this one is absolutely brilliant . Great thick mattress and you just sink into it . I was concerned I wouldn't be comfy as used to a double, but I am glad I purchased this . Great buy

The bed was easy to assemble, just attach the head board. It is very heavy and should really be a two person with opening up. The major down fall is the smell of the mattress, it stinks. I've had it open for over 2 weeks to air it and its only just started to fade.

This bed is really easy to assemble. It is well made and very comfy to sleep on. If you are going to purchase a spare bed I highly recommend investing in this bed. Although a little pricey it will be worth the money in the future.

I bought 2 of these for my sons, both over 6ft, when they had to move in together into a smaller bedroom. An absolute godsend. Comfortable enough for use every day, easy to move around and fold up.

Easy to put up but gave up on fitting the headboard as the screws wouldn’t sit flush they weren’t long enough to catch. Obviously mattress very soft so it will fold but too soft for me personally.

I bought this bed after a lot of research ....i needed a folding bed which is suitable to sleep on every night and I found it with this amazing bed. Can not recommend it enough.

I bought this as my 25 year old decided to move back homend, . As her younger sister took her old double bed. Now they both love this one more so will be ordering another one.
