The Danish Jabra brand has a long and distinguished connection with communication devices and launched the world's first mobile Bluetooth headset a number of years ago. That device was the Jabra BT100 and many innovative and award-winning products have followed over the years since then. This Jabra 100-99800902-60 - Talk 45 mobile headset is a professional-quality mono cordless model from their current headset range and it is well made and works as expected. It is a simple to use headset that is towards the top end of the range of seven models on the same Amazon product page, where a helpful comparison chart guides you to the one with the features you require. The earpiece fits well and is comfortable to wear and designed for long periods of use - the active noise-cancelling helps to eliminate background noise for improving conversation. There are seven similar Jabra headset models on the same Amazon product page with this Talk 45 version being a well-featured model at around seventy pounds currently. This is a professional rechargeable wireless headset that is perfect for long periods of use – up to six hours of calls from a full charge is suggested - it is well-designed, nicely made and fulfils it's role as intended. This item is great and does everything that it should do. The controls are quite small, but what can you expect in an item as compact as this. Four star award?I have used have used these products for years, visor type products before Bluetooth connections became standard in modern cars and headsets, such as this when out and about in my MG or on a friend's bike. In regard to the motorbike, i have connected it to a specific Garmin motorbike sat nav and been able to navigate and switch between satnav, taking a call and listen to music - all whilst the headset is inside a helmet. What makes these items special for me is in my MG particularly when the hood is down, when wind noise would render almost any call impossible.I have used a Jabra headset for years in this car and this is is much improved version, with far superior audio and pick up - you would be hard pressed for the person receiving the call to know that you were in conversation with someone in an open sports car. So transmit and receive are really great, it is compact and stylish, so why 4 stars? Price. It isn't expensive, is really neat and has excellent audio, but the price of competitors products has fallen and whilst this item is great, a cheaper model/alternative headset might deliver the same functions at a lower price.Would I buy one? Yes. Great on a motorbike, with a range of functions but for me, invaluable for open air motoring.

As might be expected with Jabra, this headset is very well presented in quality packaging. The build quality is very good. It’s light but robust, comes with an ear loop to further secure the device over ear and gel cushions. In addition to using it for taking calls, it can also be used to stream music or audiobooks from the phone. You need to download the Jabra App which allows you to customise the device to your own preferences. It’s very easy to pair and in use, the background noise cancellation was better than I expected for a single ear headset. It arrived partly charged and was fully charged in less than an hour.Jabra voice assist guides the user through set up and it’s very straightforward. The controls are easy to use and the micro charging port is neatly hidden. As for call quality, I had no problems. Voice was clear and even some distance from the phone, there was no drop in signal or loss of audio quality. I’ve found this device quite useful to stream music or audiobooks when doing odd jobs outdoors. I can leave the source device in the house and I’m not encumbered with full headphones or totally cut off by earphones. My main concern is the price. Whilst this is good, it seems expensive. I have an older headset which was around £25 and it does the same job. So, overall, good but pricey.

Reviews are mixed in with various models; this review is for the 'Talk 35'.*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*The 'Talk 35' by Jabra is a very compact, lightweight and sleek looking Bluetooth headset which boasts a reasonable amount of talk time considering it's size, providing up to 6 hours of talk time on a full charge. The headset comes with a variety of exchangeable ear pieces, including detachable ear loops. I personally prefer the ear piece that has an inner ear hook as this was most comfortable for me.Set-up is very straight forward, in fact upon turning it on, it tells you the brief process. Long story short, once the headset is on,enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for the headset and connect. The volume controls and main button I found to be very easy to find when wearing the headset from the initial use which I was pleased about. When in conversations, apparently I was very clear to the people I was talking too which to be honest, is the most important thing. As for audio quality for listening to music, it's not great, but to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be as the main use is for calls which is does a great job at.Overall, would recommend.

Seems to work just fine,a bit fiddly for man hands though.Connecting to the phone is a doddle and that is as far as the thick instruction book takes you. Very silly and annoying.Simple to charge, but no indication it has fully charged. Passing the button gives a verbal assurance in a female American voice. One rocker button to raise or lower the volume, tricky with big fingers, but once set, should be done for good.Button on the end is for answering the call, assume there are other commands, but no instructions, it’s up to you to find and download them, there is not even a URL (link) printed.Fit, the rubber plug fitted my ear reasonable well, more comfy without the crude behind the ear hook. There are other sized plugs supplied, very similar in size.Simple USB cable supplied, find your own plug in source.Sound, not bad, but rather muffled, music played from phone is terrible, forget that, it is quiet and very flat, fuzzy muffled. B42’s sounded terrible.Voice was reasonable but not the clear sound Jaba claim, but it will do.My second Jabra, the older one was clearer and is still in the car, unused these these days.Overall, it is a bit too expensive for what you get.

I'm a big fan of Jabra, and I've had (and have) a few of their headphones, and I used to have their car bluetooth hands free speakerphone. In true fashion, the audio quality is fantastic. It has to be considered that this is only a one-ear device, so it won't have music and audio quality like having stereo two-channel abilities like having a headphone in each ear, but for a bluetooth headset, it's clear and understandable. The connectivity is fine between itself and the Jabra app, which is also designed very well and ease of use is fantastic. Like anything, the connection can be temperamental if you're moving; noticeable sometimes in a car,but this is something that happens with all of them. The media streaming technology in my opinion is a gimmick, although it does work well (why would you want to listen to music through this?) and I suppose that's great if also you want to low-key doss off work without anyone noticing.Personally I have used this for driving, it seems to be it's best application for my personal usage. If you work in a fast paced office or are a manager that's always on the move, equally I would recommend it as it works as you'd hope and does it's job.

I use this while out with the dog orworking in the garden to listen to internet radio on my phone and also for long phone calls. I've had it for a couple of months now with no problems. The battery seems to last more than 3 hours before needing to be recharged. The volume is good and the voices are clear. It is very lightweight and doesn't drag on the ear. The earpiece is very soft and comfortable and fits over the earhole rather than in it. The clip which goes over the ear is also comfortable, but comes off easily if adjusting in a hurry. I put the whole thing on first, adjust it and then put my glasses on over the top of the ear clip. All seems to stay in place, even when I tripped in a pothole and fell headlong on the path. It came with a couple of spare rubber earpieces and a spare ear clip. As it is only a single earpiece and mutes everything else in that ear, I need to pause the sound while talking to people, otherwise it is difficult to hear them properly. The microphone is very sensitive and if you eat a biscuit while on a phone call, the other person can hear it! Overall, I'm very pleased with this. Ideal for the purposes I wanted it for.

The battery life is generally enough to get me through a day or two with perhaps 2 to 3 hours of calls, that being said it is turned off between shifts, and I do occasionally turn it off and charge it in the car while travelling between sites. I couldn't find a way to get the ear hooks provided to fit comfortably, but despite having quite an active job I've had no problems with it falling out of my ear with no hook attached (except when accidentally knocked). That being said, I wouldn't have minded having the option to fit an in-ear rubber ear hook as part of the base package, but those seem to be going for about £20+ extra currently. It seems to stay connected through a light obstruction or two,I've not had any Bluetooth connectivity issues so far. Sound quality is fit for purpose, I've used it in some moderately noisy industrial environments without any complaints, and I can hear the person on the other end as well as if I had the phone to my ear. All in all, it has met my expectations and has made my working life somewhat easier.

This is a review of the Jabra Talk 25 mono bluetooth headset and not any of the other products featured on this Amazon page. You get a headset, a short USB micro charging cable, an instruction book with a couple of pages in English and a selection of earpieces and ear hooks. The headset linked easily to my iPhone X with the aid of the small on/off switch on the earpiece and a small LED showing the state of the bluetooth connection and a green/red LED which shows the charging status. In use the headset worked reasonably. Sound quality is reasonably good for the price as is battery life at around 8 hours for calls and 10 days in standby.Less positively I found the headset a little uncomfortable to use and, although the headset will stream music from the phone the mono earpiece and so-so sound quality means this is an option unlikely to be used.Overall, for a product from an established manufacturer, and a good price point, this headset does what's required. Four stars.

If you need to use a Bluetooth earpiece this is a great way of wearing one without it being too obvious. It is very light in weight and comfortable to use, with very good performance – it still surprises me how capable the microphone is considering it’s not that close to my mouth. I don’t tend to use it in noisy environments but so far it has coped well everywhere it’s been used.I’ve used it with a couple of different Samsung phones and found that it paired fairly easily with them both, and there haven’t been any issues with it losing connection. The earpiece has to sit in its case when it’s not in use as that is where it switches off and recharges.I don’t mind that too much at this time of year as I will always have a convenient pocket to take the unit with me, but I suspect it might be a minor chore in warmer weather. On balance I’ve found it to be a decent device and I like it.

Looks very well made, and was well packed in a sturdy carton. It came complete with a USB charging lead.In use, the volume is just right (for me, anyway!) and very clear.Only downside is that the manual that comes with it is huge (millions of languages), but generic - so it says things like "turn the volume down initially to avoid ear damage" - but there is no volume control on this set - or is there? I don't know, as the manual does not tell me.The manual also states "do not overcharge the battery", without telling me how long to charge it for.Or does the indicator LED inform me?The manual does not explain the meaning of signals that the LED emits. The manual does not explain the meaning of the various noises I receive whilst using the device. An excellent device, spoiled by having no meaningful user instructions.

I have used this with telephone and voice dictation effectively. It is light, comfortable, my only gripe with it is the tiny power switch and for the money, it could feel a little more robust. That said it is not particularly flimsy in its construction and has stood up to everyday wear and tear so far including being transported around in a trouser pocket, A carry case would have been nice and again at this retail price, not a big ask. Conversations (both ways) were clear with no (to my hearing) hiss or other distractions. It paired with my Android phone quickly and efficiently. Battery life is probably as advertised and I certainly got a couple of hours on/off use out of it.Pricey for the money but one could expect a decent life expectancy out of this equipment, or at least hope for it.

I'd seen taxi drivers use these Bluetooth headsets a lot and wondered what they would be live to use. It took a while to get it linked up to my mobile after giving it a good charge. I've used it now for a couple of phone calls and for listening to music. The sound quality is good, in fact better than expected. I like the little charger dock! I would have liked to see more instructions in the leaflets to be honest.People said the sound quality was good. I guess practising is the main thing to get more used to using it regularly. I'm not sure I would want to wear it all the time but it's nice to listen to some music without disturbing people and make calls fairly easily. Nice little gadget and a bit of fun.Ideal if you need one for your work.

Very much so,clear no hissing or cut outs very good great for if you need on the go communication and occasionally use them for music and need to leave the other ear free to hear your surroundings .The music playback is quite good but if you seriously listen to music a pair of these would be so much better. The unit itself comes with its own small charge pod and they secure together with a strong magnet so it will not fall out and is easy to fit in any pocket ,it charges quickly and is so quick to connect to my Iphone i had to check it had done so.The fit is also very good and the whole unit is very subtle during wear .Overall very pleased to have these

Overall I thought this was a decent headset. It was fairly easy to set up and use (iPhone 6) and gav a reasonable overall performance. The app was easy to install and use.I found the battery life to by OK, but not spectacular.Audio quality, both in and out, was fine. There have been some issues of dropped signals and signal noise but it is generally a decent product. It isn’t cheap, but it delivers what I would expect at this price point. It is fairly comfortable in use, and does have some different sized ear pieces that should help you get a good fit. I went with the one supplied and fitted in the end.The little charging pod is a neat touch too.
