I am home based worker and spend about 60% of my time in teleconferences. I have tried (and returned) a few products supposed to improve the ease of conducting teleconferences over VOIP and Microsoft Lync. Some units were double the price of this unit but weren't great. I was starting to think that there was nothing that was going to meet my home office needs until I tried this speakerphone! If you are looking for a USB speakerphone, you need look no further. Hands-down this is the best product by a very long way!Good points:# true plug and play.# excellent speaker and mic quality... Fantastic actually (it has made it a big difference to my participation in teleconferences).# excellent volumewith very rich sound.# amazingly sensitive mic (no complaints of metallic distortion from other meeting participants).# tap-touch volume control and mute button with nifty indicators to show volume and mute on.# feels well made and solid with non-slip base.# cord wraps around base for easy packing in the pouch it comes with.# it is small enough to be fully portable but probably not quite small enough to fit easily into a small laptop bag.Only one minor negative comment: the "answer" and "call end" buttons didn't automatically integrate with Lync on my pc and I have to use the traditional on-screen buttons. I understand that this can be corrected with a software install but I haven't bothered because I would have to get IT to install it. Very minor comment. UPDATE: my IT department installed the Jabra software. It works very well and connects seamlessly with Lync. You can even put participants on hold. i have had this product for several months and still love it.As it so happens, my company (7,000 staff, multinational) simultaneously ran a trial with the Jabra 410. They came to the same conclusion and the speakerphone is now available in all our conference rooms! If you have a lot of VOIP or lync conference calls, this speakerphone is for you. It is worth ever penny.

I am a professional online collaboration consultant and work virtually with teams all around the world from my home office. I have been using the Jabra Speak 410 for more than two years now on a constant basis, using it almost exclusively for VOIP discussions 5-10 times a day.I very rarely need to use a headset these days as the sound quality from the echo-canceling microphone is so good that many can not tell I'm headset-free. For me, it makes my life much easier as I do not have to wear a headset all day to be able to talk to my colleagues and clients, but this kind of use does require a private office. It also comes in extremely useful for small-medium meetings where several people may wantto gather in a meeting room and some people may connect using online collaboration technology (Lync, Adobe Connect, Google Hangouts etc.). This enables high-quality audio to and from everyone in the meeting room with a 3-4 meter effective range on the mic.I have tested it with many technologies with complete success - Lync, Google Hangouts, Skype, Adobe Connect, Citrix... even ChatRoulette!I really can not recommend this item enough - is is small and portable, comes with a handy pouch for transport, extremely easy to setup (just plug and play) and provides superb audio quality from the built-in speaker and echo-canceling microphone. If I were to pick up on areas of improvement I would say that the answer/hangup buttons that work so well with Lync would be great if they worked with Hangouts and Skype too. Also; having two microphones placed on opposite sides of the unit would be helpful in some larger meetings, but this would probably cause more issues than it solved.I highly recommend the Jabra Speak 410.

I work from home and have been using a USB headset for quite some time however this leaves me tied to my desk during long calls. I wanted a hands free solution and had previously tried Bluetooth headsets however they were really unreliable. My colleague, also a homeworker, had recommended this product so I thought I would give it a try. You have the option of pairing with your PC or phone via Bluetooth, leaving the device entirely wireless, or you can plug directly into the PC via the attached USB cable (which winds neatly round the base when not in use). Whilst I really like the idea of the Bluetooth option,I have been told by callers that my voice is much clearer when the device is plugged in.I have used the conference speaker many times now when using my VOIP phone and it has been a godsend. During a long meeting today, I was able to tap the 'mute microphone' button on the edge of the device and get myself a glass of water, stretch my legs etc whilst still listening in on the meeting. The quality of sound is fantastic and you can alter the volume up and down by tapping one of the buttons around the device. When not in use, the speaker can be neatly packed away into its own little zipped bag. This would be perfect for taking away on business and using with a laptop or paired with a mobile phone for long calls.I love it. 4 stars only as the quality of sound reported by my customers and colleagues when I am connected via Bluetooth is not as good. To be fair though, my PC does not support bluetooth directly and I had bought a separate dongle to facilitate this so it could be down to that.

Excellent little conference speaker. I work from home and have a lot of meetings on Skype (formally Lync) and I got fed up with having to put on a headset. The sound quality is excellent, it is clear and loud, I have asked how I sound on the other end and people didn't know I was using a speaker, the sound was very clear. You can connect your laptop/pc via USB and also simultaneously connect your mobile with Bluetooth. As an audio speaker I tested it out with Spotify, there isn't a lot of bass with it being so small, but the sound isn't tinny, however its a conference speaker, if you wanted an audio listening speaker you probably would have bought something else that's cheaper and sounds better for music. The speaker is plug and play as far as the laptop/pc goes, mine just worked, I doubled checked the settings in Skype and it automatically picked up the speaker, for Bluetooth like any other device it has to be paired, I have paired and used it with a Samsung Note 5, S5, OnePlus2 without issues. On the top of the speaker there are touch controls for volume, mute, start/end call, LEDS on the top indicate the volume level, a white LED comes on when its switched on, when paired with Bluetooth and additional blue light comes on. The speaker has spoken instructions and tells you when it turns it has connected to something. It is has rechargeable battery and is very portable and is supplied with a neoprene type zip case, the USB cable wraps around the speaker and latches so there arnt any annoying trailing cables.

I bought this for Skype meetings while working at home, finding wired headsets a bit too restrictive. It's a nicely built unit, feeling robust and whilst light, it has enough mass to avoid sliding around your desk, helped by the soft rubbery pad underneath. The USB cable (full size usb-a connector one end, permanently attached at the other) simply coils around the base, with no arresting mechanism to keep it fixed. Operation is simple and my W10 laptop had no difficulty recognising the device and configuring itself for use.Speaker quality is excellent, clear and loud enough to fill a small office. Voice quality is reportedly good, although some people have mentioned that I sound a touch echo-y.Touch controls all work perfectly and Bluetooth pairing to my phone was also straightforward, with sound quality as good as via the wired connection. It can still handle Bluetooth calls while wired to a laptop (provided it's not already in use).Only improvement I'd like to see is having the mute button illuminated when in use. The red LEDs around the speaker give a clear indication of when you're muted, but it can be tricky to spot the mute button itself when trying to unmute during a meeting - having an illuminated symbol to aim at would make this easier.I've only used it while wired into either my laptop or docking station for power, so can't comment on the battery life.Overall I'm very pleased and would certainly recommend to others.

I purchased this for use in an offsite board meeting at a hotel which wanted to charge us £45 per day for use of a "proper" telephone speakerphone and 50p/minute for outgoing calls. We use GoToMeeting for our teleconferencing to link in participants from UK, USA and Malaysia and you can either use a dial-in number or use laptop mic and speakers or a headset and mic attached to your laptop.Using laptop speakers and mic is not suitable for a meeting scenario and neither is a headset. The Jabra Speak 410 worked brilliantly. Just as good as a "proper" speakerphone using the telephone network, but using hotel wifi instead (which can often be flaky, let's be honest).Volume was more than loud enough for six people sitting around a meeting table, and our colleague in Malaysia had no problems at all in hearing us.Don't hesitate. Just buy it if this is what you need. It is equally good in a small office for one to one usage instead of a headset as well as in a medium sized conference room for six to eight people. You might need a short USB extension cable to place it in the right position in the room as the supplied cable is only about 75cm long. It is truly plug and play as well, as long as your PC is fairly recent. No problems on Windows 7 for me. Haven't tried it on XP but should work fine, I guess.

I mainly use this with MS Teams, connected by USB to a desktop. Although advertised with Link 360, it came with the more up-to-date Link 370 - and this connects and works fine, but USB gives better call quality. Connects with my smartphone with no problems too.Slight negatives:1) As a plain speaker on the desktop there are delays or corrupted sound alerts from Windows 10 (voice conferencing has no problems though).2) It would have been better if the fixed, wrap-around USB cable was detachable.3) If the USB cable was detachable, a longer one could be used, as the standard one is a bit short for my use.4) Ergonomically, the rear mute button would be better at the front,as it will probably be used most frequently in a call; and the front call-end button should be at the back, as it will be used once in the call, and being at the front it can be accidentally hit during the use of the Jabra.5) It claims to be MS Teams compatible, and shows up in the Jabra software as being connected to MS Teams, and inside MS Teams all is setup for Jabra. However, I can never get the Jabra call and call-end buttons to operate under MS Teams, I need to call and end via the Windows MS Teams software.I'm happy with this, but will probably go for the Jabra Speak 750 once it comes back in stock.

Having used the Jabra Evolve 75 daily for the last 5 months and been incredibly impressed Inwas looking for a high quality teleconference speaker for my home office/study. Having got used to the quality, ease of use, battery life and feedback on how clear I have sounded from those who have been in a variety of calls with me (Zoom, Skype, Teams, mobile phones, IP phone) with the Evolve 75 I decided to get the Jabra Speak 750.As someone who is a big fan of B&O (even my PC has B&O speakers), I have been really impressed with the Jabra Speak 750. It is beautifully made, very intuitive to use (I use it with Bluetooth for music or calls from my phone and with the unifying USB dongle if with the PC).Seamless integration and so easy with the Teams button (I spent the little bit extra to get the unifying version as it has both the MS Teams button and the full UC connectivity. So easy to move around, great for family phone calls and battery life is easily 10 hours. I’m pleased I waited for the 750 to come out and, although not the cheapest on the market, it’s by far the best I’ve used be it at work or at home previously. I’ve even had it out in the garden listening to music then switching when a call comes in - all whilst lying on a sun lounger enjoying working from home!

I use this every day and many hours each day as I work from home. Previously using a Jabra headset that was perfectly clear but after a few hours it would hurt my ears where it "clamped" onto my head. This resolved that problem immediately and has other benefits:* looks better on video calls as you don't have the headset* allows sharing calls with others in the office* packs into a very neat travel case and weighs very littleIntegration with Lync is good - volume, mute, answer and close calls via touch controls on the rim of the speaker. Clear visual indication when on mute.Losing one start because the Mute and Lync Mute sometimes get out of synch and can't get back in without closing the call and restarting. It is not a big problem but irritating when it happens and you need to make a point quickly ... can't unmute and lose the moment. Not sure if this is fair for Jabra, it could be Lync or other influence but making it clear in this review.Would I buy again - YES - this is a great device and I would not look for any other, it makes working from home on conference calls a much more pleasant experience and outperforms the PC microphone by a huge margin.

I really liked the this product, apart from one issue which is that there is a constant low level hissing sound when on USB connection (not a problem when running through the BT dongle). Only noticeable in a quiet room, but once you start hearing it, it's hard to ignore. Discussed with Jabra Support who advised to return it, and I hear a firmware fix may be coming at some point. The sound quality for speech was great, slightly disappointing for music. Perhaps I had my hopes raised by some online reviews. To be clear, it's not bad and probably better than most speaker phones but don't expect it to sound like a good quality dedicated speaker. If the hissing sound can be fixed in firmware in future I will buy it again as I did like the product - nice design, very smooth connection to Zoom and Teams and good sound quality for speech.**Edit - April 2021 the latest firmware fixes the hissing issue. I have re-purchased & upgraded to 5 stars. Although there are better speakers out there for music, what I like is that it is good enough to play music on your desk then switch seamlessly to take calls without having the clutter of 2 speakers.

I'm using the Speak 710 for conference calls via Slack, Zoom, Facetime and Skype for Business. This review comes having used the device for one week.Connection is via the included Jabra Link 370 dongle on a Mac, but bluetooth connection from Mac and iOS devices has worked fine too.The call quality is nice and clear with a natural sound. I've had no complaints about my voice quality from the other side. Comfort-wise, I find using a speakerphone is far nicer than using earbuds, even very comfortable ones. The speaker controls are easily accessible, changing volume and muting is very simple. I particularly like the visual mute indication (lights go red)I love the portability of the device - it's simple to just pick it up and change rooms, moving between various locations with no audio problems.I usually leave the 710 connected via USB so it's fully charged, when running via battery I had a day of normal use out of it (not constant) with a little juice to spare.I'm very happy with the 710. I'm not sure how I previously survived without it :)Update: 4 months later, it's still performing excellently.

Read other reviews and spent a lot of time deciding on the best way to participate in telecons from my home office. Our IT department recommended a very expensive wireless headset, but in the end I selected this option at a third of the price, plus it seems much less likely to break in my laptop bag when travelling. While deciding on options I'd used an old headset - everyone complained that they could not hear me very clearly. With this speaker phone no complaints, plus I'm now able to participate in 3+ hour telecons without getting a very warm ear. Plus I think its important to hear through two ears, not just one.Although it is best to fully install the driver, all the important functions on the speakerphone Volume up + down and mute worked from the moment I plugged it into the side of my computer. As I do not have admin rights to my work computer I had to get our IT dept. to install the driver properly (via remote link) - no issue. All buttons do everything they are meant to with the SoftPhone (Cisco).

This is a really good speaker and microphone. I purchased it to replace my headset when moving out of the office to work from home. Its a simple USB connection to setup it up and its small enough to take with me if attending any meetings with colleagues or customers.Crackling - I fixed it for me!Like others I experience the crackling that would randomly interfere with video/calls. For me it always seemed to happen on the video calls I really didn't need not to. Well I am not using the Bluetooth dongle and only the USB connection, so I simply stopped any device such as my mobile, my partners mobile and my laptop from trying to connect to the Jabra speaker via bluetooth.I even found that the kids tablets would try and connect when in range. So simply ensure that all devices bluetooth settings in your house "forget" the Jabra speaker and they will not try to re-connect and the crackling should stop. Its what resolved the issue for me and have been crackle free for weeks now :-).

The audio is clear, I can be heard clearly and I just plugged it into the USB port and it just worked.Pairing it via USB is simple too, with a good battery life.It has controls around the edge for on/off, mute, volume, call accept and drop. Small lights around it indicate if the device is on, muted, charging and connected via blutooth. After several hours of meetings, headsets were becoming uncomfortable so I decided to look at other options. I was looking at seperate speakers and microphone until somebody told me that they used a Jabra device. Some of their range are very expensive and too fancy for my purposes but this fit the bill. The bluetooth option will let it pair with my phone or withone of my laptops that only has one USB port (which the mouse occupies). It takes considerablt less space than the planned speakers and microphone would have taken and packs away very well into the supplied soft case.A recommended purchase.

Bought a couple of these for the meeting rooms at my company. They work very well. The microphone is able to pick up people's voices from quite a distance away. It worked fine with both a mobile phone and with a laptop. I used it with Skype For Business on my laptop, and after a lot of fiddling with the settings, we were able to use this device as the microphone, but use the speakers and projector in our meeting room. I'd advise you to get the version which comes with the pre-paired USB dongle like I did, as it eliminates all the hassle of bluetooth pairing between your PC and this device, which can sometimes be a bit hit or miss. If you're looking for the bluetooth dongle,it's in a little velcro pocket inside the carry case. Just beware that it took a long, long time for my laptop to find / download / install all of the required drivers - it didn't require any manual installation, but it just took a long time. Highly recommended!
