A very rare mark of the Spitfire, only 97 examples of this high altitude Spitfire were made. So a must for the 1.72 spitfire collector. The only real faults in the structure of this Italeri model are the fuselage and wing sections which are formed from very thin plastic, so care must be taken when joining them. Italeri seem to use a basic model kit spitfire with a variety of extra parts to convert the basic model. A decent enough model but lacks some internal detail. Cockpit canopy inaccuracies are also evident, because you are making basically a conversion kit, of a MK.V. You've got a MK.V sliding canopy, this is wrong.
