I received this kit PDQ from my supplier and I believe it to be good value. It is advertised as '100% new moulds'. The big box is full, with all the bits neatly packed away in plastic bags to protect the contents from being scratched. The mouldings are a delight looking crisp, clean and free of flash. The 'new' tyres are equally as good with a nice tread and simple side wall markings. The decal sheets are very well defined and include an interesting waterslide chrome feature.I particularly liked the 28 page instruction book, the detail of the artwork being of particular note.In my opinion, Italeri have achieved a first class product here which has a lot of potential for super detailing or built straight from the box.

I am a novice model builder,but if all models are like this its quite a challenge as a pair of steady hands are required when building this merc,i drive one myself at work and i have seen myself going round the truck now comparing with the model and its very much bang on match,i would reccomend this to anyone.
