Just arrived so not road tested by the kids yet but is a well made bottle without loads of fiddly bits to clean and invariably lose. It didn’t leak when I rinsed and tested it and the opening mechanism is really kid friendly and secure (again not road tested by kids yet!) and keeps the drinking spout as clean as is possible with kids. I took a star off as the strap is fabric and I think it’ll get quite dirty and be hard to keep clean so it may get cut off down the road. A rubbery strap would be more hygienic although probably not as long lasting. All things considered it’s a well made item and the pink and blue colors are nice, not garish. Will update after a bit of use, am sure the kids (5 and 7)

I bought one of these for myself about a year ago and was really pleased with it.So, naturally I got this one for little girl to take to nursery and keep in her bag. I can't tell you how many "leak proof" cups and bottles we've gone through in the past four years and none of them have been completely leak-proof. Even your top of the range Tommee Tippee and and other brands that claim to make leak-proof products that only last for a few weeks.But this on is! Hallelujah!Another very important feature is that it's so easy to clean. A huge amount of sports bottles and kids bottles have straws or folding spouts and the dreaded pop-up type caps that can't be cleaned and harbour all kinds of stomach-churning bacteria.

I'll be honest it's a little more than I wanted to spend on a bottle that holds a little more than a drinking can, but these are worth every penny. I'd say they are ideal for childrens lunchboxes or in my case a bottle of water that they take into class with them. We've tried a number of styles and brands with varying results but this one has been bulletproof.The plastic bottle itself is rigid and in no way flexible, it has a satin finish and not clear to see what fluid exists inside. The top cap is double secured - there is a clip and once the clip is undone a button releases the spring loaded top cap exposing the drinking spout.

I bought this for my daughter as she needed a water bottle from school. This is the 3rd one I have bought her this year due to others going missing. We have only had it about a week and it seems very good. It doesnt leak as when you screw on the top, the lid is fastened on by a clasp. To open the water bottle you have to press the button to get the lid to open. The design is very good and clever, my daughter who is 5 can undo it no problems at all. I cannot comment on the water bottle durability but it does look and feel like it will be around for quite a while. We chose a lovely pink colour and it has a strap attached. The size of the bottle is just right as well, not too big and not too small.

I have had this bottle for 5 months now. I purchased it originally because I needed a smaller water bottle for the water machine at work. Absolutely fantastic brand. The water stays fresh in the bottle even after a few hours (I have done the dodgy thing of drinking from it with filtered water from the day before) and there's never really any off-putting smells or tastes. The speed of the water coming out is pretty fast and thank god for that little air hole because there are no weird suction problems. I have read that others have had problems with the spring button mechanisms and the seal but I am fortunate enough to have both of mine in working order 5 months on.

Not just for kids - I find 500ml bottles are too much at any one time and 350 is just right!!I drink lots of cola but only bought small bottles as the larger bottles were flat before they were finished!! I bought one of these bottles to try and they are fantastic!I now buy 1.5 litre bottles of cola and refill this bottle several times and the drink is as fresh as in the beginning. The drinking bottle keeps the gassiness from start to finish - a nice 'pop' every time you release the lid.It may be imagination but it also appears to keep its coolness.My only criticism would be that my nose sometimes hits the lid when drinking but who cares? The bottle is great.

I’ve only had these for a few weeks but they have been used daily by my two daughters, aged 5 and 2.5, at school and nursery. They love the bright pink colour, can open and close the bottles independently (although my youngest daughter sometimes struggles to lock hers), are very easy to clean and, so far, have been carried in bags, the car and in the bottom of the pushchair WITHOUT ANY LEAKS!I would agree that they could be improved if the carrying strap was removable so that it doesn’t get wet each time you clean the bottle but, apart from that, I think they’re excellent quality and value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

My children love these water bottles, they have used them for over a month now every single day without fail and they are just as good as new, I’ve not had one single leak, the lids are extra secure, it has a lovely grip around the top also to open and close it which is an added bonus if your at the stage of teaching your children to do their own drinks.The bottle also has a lovely texture to it, hard to explain but almost rubbery! This my children absolutely loved!I’d definitely purchase these again and I would definitely recommend for all ages, they have a variety of colours to chose from and the price you really can’t grumble at.

Great bottles.. we have six in rotation. I prefer the older design with the fabric handle.. the plastic handle on this newer version has snapped after 5 months. Only other downside to an otherwise very practical water bottle is the little silicone/plastic parts inside the lid can be easily removed and chewed by younger kids. If removed, the bottle will leak through the holes in the lids. And once messed with/chewed they will come off in the dishwasher. Having said that, replacements are available. These last much longer than other bottles, especially ones with straws which are not as easy to clean.

After trying oodles of different water bottles and not being able to find one that didn't leak or didn't have parts that were hard to wash, I ordered this bottle to give it a try. Well what can I say? After just one week of using it, I threw all the other bottles my kids use right in the bin. This doesn't leak, no matter how much it rolls around in the back of our car. It's extremely easy to clean and it's soft to the touch and easy to carry. I won't be buying any other bottles from now on. I'm going to be buying one for myself now for the gym.

So I've already reviewed the larger bottle and was going to stop there but today my youngest had a meltdown in the school playground and decided to throw her bottle on the ground with all the forceshe could muster and I thought that's it bottle is gone.Picked it up and was surprised it was still intact, and it looked like it was ok decided to fill it up with water assuming there will be a leak somewhere but no.I've learnt that either my child needs some weights or that this bottle is really childproof to survive that kid of assault.

I have been very pleased with my new water bottle and especially the smaller size. It is handy for putting in my large handbag or a small canvas bag. I also like the fact that so far this does not leak and when you open up the lid (which is nice and easy to open) the lid stays open for easy drinking and doesn't shut in your face as you are drinking! I liked this so much I have bought another one in the green colour for keeping at the side of my bed without the fear of knocking over a glass of water in the middle of the night.

We have tried a lot of different bottles and will now be sticking with these Ion8 ones. My kids love how they open - you flip the catch down, press the button and the lid carefully flips open. When they are closed, they really are leakproof and the catch means they don't accidentally come open in a bag. They have a strap so they're easy to carry if they're not in a bag. We've had them several months now, using them almost daily and they still look good as new. The only drawback is they're not suitable for the dishwasher.

After years of leaking bottles, I eventually tried these for my children. I cannot recommend these enough, since having them we have had ZERO leaks! I have recommended them to multiple friends who have all said that they are amazing too. They are very easy to clean and are a perfect size for lunchboxes.Only negative is that the little valve at the top is very easy to remove, my son will inevitably lose this soon and the bottle will leak, but I've seen that you can buy replacements so might get them in preparation!

I bought two of these bottles and I'm really pleased with them. They're the perfect size for my kids' school bags, or to fit in a handbag. The kids (aged 4 & 6) find them easy to use and they're happy with the vibrant colours. They're very easy to clean. We've had them for a few weeks now, during which time they've been used every day, and (so far) they've never leaked! It's taken me a long time to find a kids-size water bottle that really is leak-proof. My youngest seems to find the carry handle useful too.
