For reasons I’ll not go into, I have slept on an airbed almost every night for the past 7 years. I therefore consider myself to be a bit of an expert and possibly the record breaker for most nights on an airbed. For reference, I’m mid 40’s, 100Kg and sleep with the bed blown up fairly hard.First thing to remember if you want an airbed to last is NEVER walk on it or press on it in one place with your elbows. Barring puncture by sharp objects, they always split first at the seams in the middle of the bed because this is where they get stretched at their weakest point. Walking or placing all your weight at one single point on it will over-stretch these joints. Due to this, rotating it so you sleep with your head up the other end will also make it last longer just like a real mattress. The comments on other reviews about air beds losing air overnight are mostly wrong. If you don’t have a leak, they will remain pumped up for some months. Most people use airbeds when camping. In the morning it is colder than when they went to sleep and the cold makes the air inside contract and the bed feels softer as a result. People tend to confuse this with leaking. In addition, the first few times you use one it will stretch before it stabilises so may need some topping up the first few nights.I have obviously been through quite a few airbeds in my time. £5 Supermarket brand ones, well known outdoor equipment brand ones, high street brands, etc.. Suffice to say, this one has lasted me the longest. It managed 7 months till the first small hole ( Due to my son walking on it) and since patching that, has lasted 3 more so far. That’s 10 months use every night. Supermarket brands tend to last me 4 months and ‘camping’ brand ones up to 6. I suspect that this has lasted me longer because the seams in the middle of the airbed run from head to foot and not ‘mattress’ style round seams that most airbeds have. This design probably puts less pressure at any one point when stretched. Finally, the little stick-on puncture patches you get with many airbeds don’t work on the flocked side. They don’t work very well on the smooth side either. You need a tube of vinyl glue and a proper patch. Smear a good spread of glue on both the bed and the patch and press together after 20 seconds or so. Then place something to keep the pressure on over the entire patch for several hours. I use a wadded up tissue with some books piled on top.Hope this helps someone.

We've had this air mattress for two years now (according to our Amazon purchase date) and still love it. So comfy — especially with a thick mattress pad, feels basically like a real mattress! Two things to keep in mind as you read other reviews about leaks and deflation issues: First of all, the mattress does indeed stretch during the first few uses. We use a very small suck+blow shop vac to fill this mattress with air, and I had to "top off" the mattress a couple times those first few uses. Despite the papers and warnings that came with the mattress about this initial stretching, I was actually very concerned — and almost convinced myself we got a defective one.Glad we got past that — because once the initial stretching is done, this mattress rocks. Second thing to avoid deflation problems — and this took me longer to figure out: Around the air input port (where the mattress gets filled) is a screw-on ring. After the mattress is inflated to a good level of puffiness, this input-port ring needs to be tightened down kind of a lot — hand tightened — so nothing crazy, but as tight as possible with hand tightening. Once we started doing that, this mattress proved itself capable of staying inflated and comfortable indefinitely. Super-great purchase ... still happy.

I use this for infrequent camping trips and as an extra bed when guests are staying. It's wider than most single beds so fits a single fitted sheet well, it's comfortable and doesn't deflate too much throughout the night unlike others as the material feels thicker. I can't say what it's like after a few nights but all beds usually require a little topping up.I combine this with a battery powered pump to inflate and deflate this bed - it only takes a minute or two and helps it fold back down again after.

Bought three of these for me and the kids to put in our Coleman delux 4 man coastline tent. Three will fit snugly across the back of this particular tent creating a large cushioned sleeping area. The beds inflated quickly with a branded Intex pump and stayed inflated without top up for three days (two nights of sleeping and several hours of kids using as a hang out while on camp). The beds were comfortable for a few nights sleeping. They also deflated and packed away with ease. A great purchase.

I usually share a queen size double thickness airbed with my daughter, but as I was going on some solo camping trips, I decided to buy a more basic airbed that was slightly wider than normal, being on the tall side. I was thoroughly impressed with this airbed I used for 3 nights on 3 occasions, and it never lost air during any of my trips. It was comfortable and very roomy. I was so impressed, I bought another for my daughter, so we don't have to share again ?

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing 10 of these and I was not disappointed! I was taking a group to Fiji to a remote island and these were perfect! There was no power on the island so having a compressor in each matteres would have been a waste. When you fill them with air make sure you get both the inner and outer plugs tight and you will have no problems with deflation of the unit. These were tough, easy to use and worked great!

Ultimate option for home and travel !I planned to use it as a filler but its so good that I have placed it in my drawing room. I purchased an air pump as well with it.Pros :1. When not filled, can be carried easily anywhere.2. Beautiful.3. No need to fill daily, I refill it in two weeks.4. Very good option for camping and for Kids.Cons :1. Only once person can lay down but can't sleep very comfortably.

I have a similar model that I've used for a year and we got this one as a second air mattress. The first time I used it the mattress deflated much more than our other one over the night. The company was great though, it was after the 30 day Amazon standard return period (we didn't go camping right away) but they accepted the return anyway with no problems because it didn't work correctly.

We carry a could of these when we travel with kids. Our kids don't do very well sharing a bed in the hotel so we make sure they have a comfy place on the floor. The Intex electric pump is very small and blows this puppy up in no time. The material on this bed is very strong, never have we had one even get a hole, and these are our 3rd and 4th...we also have them for friends sleep overs.

Bought this 3 years ago, it is still going strong now with no leaks or anything. It is really firm and comfy to sleep on, with minimal leak overnight and often doesn't need to be topped up if it's being used for 2-3 nights in a row. It is slightly wider than most airbeds I have found, so would measure for space. But in my eyes this is a positive as it is nice to have a roomier airbed.

I can't say much about this product other than it has held it's air very well. We use this mattress for a completely different purpose, nobody is laying on it but it does see a good amount of direct sunlight, which usually blows up mattresses like a ball park frank in the microwave. Minimal expansion, I'd buy again for the correct purpose :)

Came as described. Works great so far for car camping and kids sleepovers. Fitted sheet works good if you leave it a bit under inflated. Ended up in the pool one weekend and it did lose some color to the chlorine pool water but stood up to it OK

It is hard to find reason to rave about an air bed. This is one good bed. It blows up and deflates easily although the fact the valve is inset is a minor nuisance to a big hand. More over it stays inflated not having been punctured as yet.

Worked Great for my first camping trip! I recommend buying a battery operated pump (which we had thankfully!) or you will be pumping and or blowing for a long long time. it was very comfortable and easy to deflate and pack up when done.

I got the full size. Once I got it I inflated it and let it sit for several hours. It was a little squishy the first time I used it but after that I had no issues. Read and follow the instructions and you will enjoy this mattress.
