Our black cocker spaniel loves water and hates hot days, so that got me thinking. In bought this for him and after a bit of dithering, he eventually jumped in and while he doesn't stay in it for long, a quick dip every 20 minutes or so keeps him cool and he can sit with us in the garden without having to seek out cool, distant corners. Inflation by lung power is possible but it takes a while so I use a basic bellows-style foot pump (usually used for inflatable camping beds) and with that it only takes a few minutes to inflate. Fully inflated it's fairly sturdy and takes a fair bit of filling so you'll need to use a good few buckets or a hosepipe. However, once filled beyond half way it soon feels less sturdy and an adult leaning against it from the inside will cause the sides to collapse and water to slosh out. Then again, adults shouldn't be in it. At a touch over a tenner it's within the reach of most people and I suspect smaller children (up to 8, but more under 5s) will really love this. Cocker spaniels also approve. On days when it's not warm enough to warrant a paddling pool, it also doubles as a passable ball pit, but you'll need to buy them separately.

Ok so i dont have kids, however my Husky is my Animal family member.Anyway its her 1st birthday and she has just got over her fear of water.I thought i would buy her a small paddling pool for her birthday to get her used to the water so that in time she will go deeper, so she can swim without shaking so much.Anyway you can see that she was pretty impressed by it.She has not gotten out of it since she had it, and that for me was worth the money, she has even taken her toys in it.I cannot comment on the suitability for children, but my Husky is happy. It took me less than a minute to blow it up too, seems pretty sturdy, also comes with a free repair kit,and when i say kit i mean a stick on piece of plastic that i almost threw away because it jut dropped on the floor when i took the pool out of the plastic.Seller took 4 days to deliver which i thought was pretty good as well.I would buy it again, however the prices are ridiculous, ive now bought it twice and never paid more than £3.01.

Perfectly adequate medium paddling pool for children. Easy to inflate (although easier with a pump). Each ring inflates separately. Big enough comfortably for a 4 year old and 1 year old to muck about in together. Not as good (or comfortable) as the ones where the base is inflatable as well but I got this deliberately as something that could be inflated quickly when the kids just want to play in the garden for a short time. It's perhaps slightly over priced but I was happy with what I paid because (a) I wanted something on PRIME that would come the next day (b) it's a good size - not too big or too small and (b)Intex is a well established inflatable brand and generally you are unlucky for a new one to be in a bad condition.

I ordered the Intex 59416NP Crystal Blue Three Ring Paddling Pool for when my grandson visits. This is a great little pool, it took a little while to inflate using a foot pump and I found the plugs a little fiddly, but otherwise ok. It would inflate faster using an electric pump! I set it up on the grass with a piece of old cushioned lino underneath to protect it from being damaged by stones before filling it with water. The first thing my 4 year old grandson wanted to do when he saw it was get in it to play!! It was the perfect size for him, and well worth the money.I left it inflated for 3 days and it stayed up without any problems. Very pleased.

Bought this as an alternative to another inflatable we have that has far too many sections (car with roof and steering wheel) as we wanted something much quicker to set up. Little girl loves it, and it's great for purpose all round. So far, because I'm lazy, it's been in the garage, still inflated for over six months (inflated on receipt in September, currently mid-April) and it's not even slightly deflated in that time. By the time it's warm enough to put it back in the garden again, I suspect I won't need to inflate it at all.

Good size paddling pool for my grandaughter (4) and my grandson (2) to use together with room for toys and space to themselves. Easy to blow up in under 5 mins, and easy to deflate. As it is large it does take a while to fill. My grandaughter did put it though its paces, jumping into it and onto it, and it stayed inflated. I feel that this is well made. Enables hours and hours of fun, when deflated it is small, and does not take up much space. Will add a great new activity to summer babysitting. Very happy with this purchase

I bought this paddling pool expecting to only use it a few times for the price. You can blow it up by mouth but I nearly died in the attempt.. A manual balloon pump did the job pretty quickly. Other reviews mention issues with the stoppers coming out but I had no problem. It is surprisingly sturdy for the price and my little girl was able to lean against it without it caving in. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is because there is no plug to empty it so you have to tip it up which is a bit of a faff.

Great value for money and you can fill it quickly and without using much water. You don't need a pump to inflate it. The pool would fit 3 under 5's but better for 2. The only reason I reduced a star is that 2 of the valves wouldn't push in securely, so they could be knocked. I put insulation tape over mine, just in case. You do have to empty the water from the top, but that means that it can be put in to a water butt to water the garden and not be wasted, so It wasn't a problem.

Bought this to fit inside my quadrant shower cubicle so that we could bath my 2-year old grandson when he visits. It fits my 1.25m x 0.8m shower perfectly and my grandson loves his new “bath”. It would be more helpful if a drain plug was fitted as it takes quite a time to empty out the water manually using jugs as it’s too heavy to simply turn upside down when it is full with water. Definitely solves the problem of us removing our bath from our bathroom.

Much bigger than expected, my advice is follow the instructions if your blowing it up yourself, blow the bottom ring up first otherwise you cant blow any of them up (my bad mistake) it is possible to do this, I am currently not that fit and managed it fine once I noticed this haha!My 8 month old boy loved to sit and splash in this in the hot weather. I doubt it would withstand a dog clawing at it as it is fairly flimsy but for £5 you cant complain!

Hours of fun for not a lot of lot of money. There are many similar products for a comparable price but this one seems to have a slightly better build quality and the materials slightly upgraded to products I have bought in the past. The one I received did have a small puncture in the top inflatable ring, but I just slapped a stip of gorilla tape over it and it hasn't been a problem since. For the price I paid, it is hard to grumble too much.

Size, quality, colour, everything is good. I have one small complaint. The inflation valves on all these things have a cut that opens to allow air in, and closes to prevent it coming out as you take a breath. On this the cut is too far from the end of the moulding, which means it does not work well. The effort to blow it up is huge, and it's difficult to open the cut in the valve. for that reason I cannot recommend an otherwise good product.

Paid just over a fiver and the pool has lasted weeks of warm weather in lockdown and still going strong. Blew it us by mouth in under 5 minutes , perfect size for a small toddler, but my 11 year was also happy to plonk herself in! Small enough that it is easy to fill and clean. The sides stay up strong as a one year old pushes onto the sides to climb in an out. So all the water doesn't rush out. Brilliant purchase and great value for money.

Bought a variety of garden stuff to occupy the little person whilst off school in lockdown. Didn't have much space and didn't want too big a pool getting in the way. Was put off by the cheapness, concerned about quality. I was swayed by the reviews of dogs using it and it being robust enough to not break. Well it's brilliant. More than big enough for a child to sit in and a couple of adult feet. So glad I took a chance on a measly 6 quid!

I bought this because I have just added two very white border collie puppies to our household. We live in an area which has many fields, also there are many cows. Cows which produce vast amounts of manure of a flavour, texture and aroma irresistible to these puppies.I now have an outdoor bath and don't need to cart two foul smelling dung encrusted hounds through the house and up the stairs to get them clean.
