i dont want to make it a bad review as such as the actual quality of the muzzle was perfect, but as it said the size 5 is for rottweiler's/bullmastif's i was so happy as i'd been searching for over an hour... but my dog (who is a mastif runt!) so hes alot smaller than the average and i couldnt get it past his nose?? and as i kept trying different different ways incase i was doing something, but just as it was blocking his nose he couldnt even get his tongue out... the actual seller was very helpful but couldnt give me the one i wanted, or something bigger because they didnt really sell muzzle's and had no other sizes.. i sent it back.. (having to pay again for postage) i did get the refund back promtly...

Bought for a small terrier when he had an eye infection and we thought we'd have a battle on our hands. It was very easy to put on, soft and kind and he didn't resent it as much as I expected him to. After 2 days of putting it on though, he had just accepted the eye drops as easily as he accepted the muzzle, so we didn't worry about the muzzle any more. I would put this on him though when he goes to the vet as you never know and the vet feels more comfortable.You do need to put it on more tightly than you'd think, to avoid them managing to pull it off.

works well on a normally soft hearted Rottweiler who hates having her claws clipped and helps keep the blood pressure down for the vet who is facing her. Tip: if you are going to use this product it helps to pre-train your dog to wear it. Getting her used to putting her own head voluntarily into the muzzle to get treats fed through the other end worked very well before moving onto the next stage of treats with the muzzle clipped on properly. Now at the command 'muzzle' she will happily come over and put her head into it and await a treat.

super quick delivery and had our first walk today, problem with one of my staffies is when approached by other dogs sometimes running at him and wanting to play or fight he would bite them - I was keen to stop this behaviour and stopping confrontation with the owners of the other dogs (who should have been on a lead ) at first they were trying to get them off (natural instinct) but I found they were walking better and after a while just seemed to accept that they were on.

Quality Product. Don't always guarantee the size chart though and we ended up doing research to find a more accurate sizing chart from Pet Vet Care (Google).Disappointing that Mikki themselves don't provide this information on their website.Fortunately this meant we knew to order one size bigger than the recommended size for the breed according to Mikki website.This is the only thing wrong, don't be put off by the product though which is first class.

We currently have a 12 months old Dobermann in Foster. He was rescued from a loving home. He was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia at 7 months of age and will most likely require very expensive treatment.He is a lovely and most loveable dog, but is "A Terrible Chewer"We are hopeful that this muzzle will, in a short time, help to stop his seemingly insatiable need to chew.He is not a "Biter" and does not require anything like that type of muzzle

This is an excellent product and very well priced. The sizing is fantastic in relation to the breed as we had a lot of trouble finding one that fits our dog! The only criticism is that the strap to attach the muzzle to the collar, to prevent the dog from pulling itfoff, is too long. It could possibly do with the length being more adjustable maybe.Other than this p&p was great and the product does the job!!

Brought this for my female boxer, who is very possessive when out walking, and gets quite aggressive with other dogs as a result. It makes me feel more confident walking her, and she seems quite comfortable with it. She can still pant, take treats and drink but has an inhibited bark. It's strong and hard wearing, and I would buy again if I needed it for another boxer - perfect fit for her short nose.

Gentle and good. Use it on my dear dog when he doesn't know he's barking, Tains him to know that when you show it to him to stop barking. Have another dog in my care who sometimes chews his feet if he gets stressed, takes the edge off for him. I do seem to inherit problem dogs from time to time, I find this a kind way to train them if traditional ways are not appropriate to start with

I used it because I have a very vocal dog. He barks incessantly and drives my neighbours crazy. He barks if I’m there or not. I tried distraction and collars but they did nothing. This muzzle isput on for short periods when someone knocks the door so I can actually hear them talking It doesn’t allow airflow and can get quite moist inside from condensation of dogs breath.

Fits great, only issue is my dog (originally a stray and possibly bait dog, so she has some issues with other dogs) still manages to nip a little bit! But it definitely stops big fights and now I can let her off the lead without her fighting and embarrassing me. Like a weight off my back, now I enjoy taking her to the park rather than dreading it.

This fits my staffyx perfectly. It is soft enough for a comfy fit but still does the trick as a great muzzle. It took a while to get her used to it. But with the help of diced smoked sausage she quite happily sticks her face in it nowadays. It looks good on her, quite sleek and not as frightening as other huge basket muzzles.

My dog managed to take this off in about 5 seconds but with the help of my friend we managed to control her by one of us holding her paws so that she couldn't take it off and the other cutting her nails. It was crazy and it is easy to take off but at least it stopped my dog from torturously biting me when cutting her nails!

I don't write reviews but this product is great for my staff Bruno. it's only so my young one can walk him off lead with confidence. Fits him perfectly with room for giving him treats and for him to pant. He can take it off as he rips it off at home but doesn't bother with it on walks as he's distracted. Great product .

This is for my Yorkshire terrier, he got one of his paws stung by a hornet, he was yelping with the pain, he was going to bite myHusband & myself, he wouldn't let us look at it, so we had to take him to the vet. So the muzzle will only be used I. An emergency.I am pleased with my purchase.
