My 3 mins video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T07O-aU1m54I was looking for some portable storage solution and I found something that may be one of the smallest 64GB storage options around.I needed something very portable that could be left in my MacBook without any worries of losing or breaking it. Also, I looked for a very fast storage, so I opted in for USB 3.0 Integral 64GB flash drive. In addition, I did a little research on Amazon and this device looks to be the best deals for around 35 USD and it receives best reviews, so I decided to choose this one.The flash drive is sealed in the packaging, so you will be sure that it is a new product. It is really small in size and it is made out of aluminium alloy. Also, there is a little strap in case you want to attach it to your keys. The Integral USB storage flash drive is very sturdy and well made. It spots a unibody metal design and again, it is incredibly small. I haven’t seen any other USB 3.0 flash drives with 64GB of capacity yet. Tell me in the comments section if I’m wrong. For the size comparison you can take a look at the regular USB flash drive and this one. Also, it is way smaller than a regular SD card. My main complaint about regular sized USB flash drives that they stick out of the computer so much that you always need to take care of it before putting your PC or Mac into the travel bag. This is not the case here. Yes, it does it stick out a little, but I had no issues with it while leaving it in my Macbook and travelling. It stays really firm and there is a little chance of breaking it.Reading and writing speeds are very fast, which makes it a perfect device. All in all, I can definitely recommend this product as it lets you forget about all those bulky USB flash drives. This is one sturdy, good looking and compact device. The only disadvantage is that it is so small that you may lose it if you just throw it in your bag. My advice is that you either leave it in your PC or Mac or attach it to your keys with the supplied strap.

It's incredibly tiny, protruding just 8mm when inserted into a USB 3.0 hub. Seems sturdy. Inserts easily, unlike some other USB drives with a similar form.Peak speed for me when tanking a big collection of files with the drive plugged in for 5 minutes, was around 30 MiB per second, which is just fine. And when the USB drive was cold and freshly plugged in, a single-file 1.5GiB write and a simiar read each took about 10 seconds, making for a transfer rate of over 300MiB per second - fantastic! However, when writing 3GiB of data in 60,000 files a to my new 64GB USB drive, the speed averaged at a fraction of that: just 1.8MiB per second. After a speedy start, and about 0.5 GB of data transferred, drive got hot - up to about 50°c - and the transfer got slow. A subsequent single file write of 1.5GB showed an average speed of a little less than 1MiB per second, which is disappointing. Reads while hot were similarly disappointing, speeds dropping to less than 1MiB per second, but averaging at about 4MiB per second. In my USB hub, the USB drive became quite warm even when unmounted. The drive didn't get so hot when plugged directly into a laptop. For the sake of science: I had the USB drive formatted as NTFS (I don't know if makes a significant difference). I was using Ubuntu 14.04 and a machine with a fast SSD. For comparison, copying the same 60k files from my local SSD to a network attached HDD via the same USB hub peaked at around 20 MiB per second, and averaged at 10 MiB per second.

Why is this a good choice for a USB memory stick? It’s an all metal construction. The plastic usb sticks become very brittle over time, they crumble and fall apart. I personally will never buy the plastic types ever again. This little unit is robust, extremely compact and fast. If you’re looking at specs for “read & write speeds” then you’re probably quite anal and should go and spend £200 on something that’ll give you the 1% extra that this device won’t. I use this for storing my kids favourite programs on and it stays pretty much stuck in the side of the living room tv. ALL the usb devices become warm (if not hot) quite quickly when left permanently plugged in (hence the plastic one’s becoming brittle)but with this all metal type it’s never been an issue. I also use this type to store all my music on and leave it permanently connected in my car (5 series), it gets warm in that too, but again it’s never been a problem.I purchased the 256Gb version for around £28 which I feel is very good value, but that’s just my personal opinion. I’m very happy to recommend this memory stick (including the 128Gb version).

After having another drive with similar specs fail on me, I decided to give this Integral Drive a go.It's definitely small! I know that's one of the headline features of this drive and is well conveyed, but I don't think it's truly apparent until you have it in your hand. And whilst a small drive makes for a greater chance of losing it, Integral have definitely thought this through and ensured that the device has a strong attachment point and included a good quality, if a little fiddly, lanyard.Build quality in general is very good, the drive is sturdy and gives me no reason to feel cautious whilst carrying it.My Windows 8 PC recognises the drive almost before I've finished putting it in,and I have not had any issues with its operation whatsoever.Read and write speeds are up to the stated spec (when used in a USB 3.0 port) and are definitely fast enough for my uses (often writing folders of 200+ 50mb raw image files in around 5 to 10 minutes).Altogether a very good compact drive, that performs well with no hiccups, for a very good price!

I purchased this to replace the 64GB version I've had for the last year (which was excellent, but stupidly lost by me!). It looks exactly the same as its predecessor and works just as well.It is tiny (think thumbnail size) and only about 5-6 mm is visible once it is plugged into a PC, this means that it is not ideal if you constantly want to plug/unplug it as it is a little fiddly to get out. However, I like the low profile as I usually have it plugged into client's PCs and its inconspicuous nature is a bonus (I generally leave it plugged in for months at a time). It would also work well as a long term additional drive on a tablet/laptop where you want something that does not get caught up /knocked off.The hole at the back is suitable for fitting to a key ring or lanyard. There is no dust cover, so if you are planning on keeping this in your pocket / bag you will want to consider some sort of cover / case for it.I run mine with PortableApps and it works really well (even where admin privileges are not available).

Spent some time searching online for a new USB 3.0 hard drive and decided to scrap that idea and go with a portable drive to have everywhere with me and keep my main hard drive at home for backups. This fit the profile for what i needed perfectly! Fast Transfer, Slim (Macbook Pro USB slots are real close together so need a slim drive to avoid blocking the other), Low Profile, Can attach to keys - I've got enough keys already so great that it doesn't stick out like most other flash drives.. Only downside (hence the 4 stars) is the flimsy keychain connector they give you. I would advise all DO NOT USE THE SUPPLIED CORD IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR FLASH DRIVE! I ignored warnings from other reviewers and it fell off on day 2,luckily in the car so I found it later.Other than that one small issue its brilliant and would highly recommend. If the keychain parts a deal breaker I saw this version too Integral 64GB Tag USB 3.0 Flash Drive which has metal hook. Wish it was available when i got mine!

Since USB 3 really does make a difference in read/write terms if you intend to store - or move - media files (movies, music libraries) this little dongle is highly recommended (as are the 32Gb versions more commonly seen in high street outlets): the small size means it can be fitted and forgotten but equally they can be easily overlooked.Fortunately a take-apart phone/key ring double loop halter is supplied, since this or some other form of Kevlar loop lanyard is a necessity: the inner portion of the slot is a meager 6mm x 1mm so it won't take a ball-chain or mini cable.(If this is an issue - using the stick as a 'digital dog-tag' for example, similar products are available, notably the Integral Metal ARC USB 3.0 Flash Drive, also listed on Amazon.co.uk)PSWhile the zinc alloy housing acts as a most effective heat-sink working with tens of Gb at USB3 speed means heat build-up, so you might was to avoid handling any small metal-cased devices for a few minutes.

Very compact Flash drive and once in the USB port of a lap-top, both secure and project only a little from the post . For a lap-top this allows the Flash Drive to remain in the USB port for transit in a lap-top sleeve without the need to remove the drive. This is probably the best location for the drive as due to its size it would otherwise be easy to miss=place. This was why this particular drive was selected.Unfortunately whilst the drive operates well if inserted after lap-top is running, for my lap-top (Windows 8.1) each time it starts with the drive in place, the drive (not the lap-top) does not register correctly and appears to go into a loop of registering and de-registering.This can only be stopped by removing the Flash Drive and re-inserting when it is immediately registers and operated correctly.Nonetheless, a very good Flash Drive except for this minor problem that may only occur with my lap-top type and OS.

32GB version - purchased from MyMemory. Tiny size (12mm wide x 21mm long x 4.5mm high). Robust all-metal construction and the hole at the back for clipping onto a keyring is very sturdy. Supplied with a small lanyard. The packaging mentions upto 140MB/s read and 20MB/s write speeds.I tested the actual performance (using H2testw v1.4) in a 4-year old Lenovo Thinkpad. This showed write speed of 10.6 Mbytes/sec and read speed of 27.7 Mbytes/second. Whilst not matching the claims on the package, these are 3 to 5 times better than any USB 2.0 drive I've tested, so I'm quite happy. In a more modern laptop I suppose I might see the higher speeds.Overall, I'd consider this to be one of the cutest and best value 32GB USB3 drives out there!Just make sure you keep it safe, since it really is tiny and would be very easy to misplace or lose.

Early impressions are good. Beautifully small and lightweight. Metal construction (Aluminium) so clearly pretty tough. I'll never buy a plastic flash drive again as my last two have broken where they plug in. That's certainly never going to happen with this! Read and write speeds are fine for normal day to day usage of transferring/storing files. I personally use this to keep plugged in to my car loaded with MP3 files and it does it's job perfectly in that regard. So small that it's completely unobtrusive whereas others can annoyingly stick out. Little bit of heat is generated whilst in use but the metal casing dissipates that heat perfectly. Genuine reviews help us all so I'll definately update this review if anything goes wrong.Great, tiny USB 3 drive.

I was looking for a decent speed compact USB drive. A previous one I owned from 'Kingston' which was also aluminium body was very slow at basic read write operations. This USB on the other hand is the fastest you can get from looking around, on such a compact form. The speed is perfect for my needs, 1Gb can take 30s to write on my Mac (which is USB3), on a PC with USB2.0 around a minute. Those who complain about write issues of this USB probably want the best of both worlds. It is not possible at this moment in time to get such fast read write speeds on a small USB. If you notice all the fast USBs are much larger and bulkier in size.A huge bonus is how sleek and sturdy it is.Only protrudes from the usb port by less than 1cm. Would recommend.

I have a number of USB sticks and they are quite small yet in comparison to this little fellow even they look large, the increased speed of usb 3 can really be seen for someone that uses usb sticks for work a lot, these are recommended. The only down side I have found is the slot for adding it to a key ring (they do provide a weak stringy thing of their own due to this "weakness") is a little on the small side it cannot be put on a normal key ring. Though with a little ingenuity the thin 10mm key ring split rings can overcome this ^^.All in all even with this one down side, highly recommended product and a great price for such a nipply little thing.

So you want a small memory stick? Look no further. This thing is TINY! It does come with a lanyard for attaching to particularly large keyrings (although it fitted alongside my car keys just fine without it) and it unscrews too so if you need it somewhere a little less accessible you should be fine to unscrew it without breaking your nails! I opted for the 64GB model to cover all eventualities, although the one I received only shows to have 62GB of free storage on it (I may need to format it). Either way, I know I'll get a lot out of this flash drive and USB 3.0 is a bonus for fast large file transfer. Buy today and enjoy!

If you have a Macbook Air or a MS Surface Pro and are running out of hard drive space THIS is the device you need to increase your storage cheaply. The price/performance and tiny size cannot be matched right now.I use a MicroSD to store my media where speed is unimportant but the Transcend Integral read speeds are fast enough for it to run actual applications that would normally run off a hard drive . My entire Steam collection is stored on this USB and those games run as well as they did on the internal hard drive. Not every application needs the 500MB/Sec read/write speeds you get from an expensive SSD hard drive.

This little USB 3.0 flash drive is perfect for the Macbook Air, or any other small laptop that rests on your lap for any period of time. Whilst it never happened to me, I do know of a few slap-dash people who managed to break their USB flash drives because they stuck out too much. This little device is great with faster transfer rates than my previous SanDisk SDCZ33-032G-B35 32GB Cruzer Fit USB 2.0 Flash Drive. Although I loved that device for it's smallness, the metal clip which I attached to my lanyard snapped off and although I did not lose it, I couldn't use it anymore. This one should not have any such problem!
