This is the best projector ceiling mount I can find which is so close to the ceiling. I needed it for a short throw projector which I can't adjust the height of the screen on so having it close to the ceiling as possible was critical.The product is generally well made and easy to install. The only real problem I noticed was that there is a gap between the mounting arms and the mounting base, and when you are positioning the mount it causes the projector to 'tipple' a little when you are moving it. This can be fixed by wedging some cardboard or plastic packers between the mounting arms and the base.My projector had only 3 mounting holes and technically this mount was too big for the mounting
