This pasta drying stand is very helpful. The alternative is to lay home made pasta onto floured wooden surfaces or on towels. The stand takes up less space when making even small amounts of pasta and allows all of the pasta surface to be exposed to the air. It can be helpful to dry the pasta sheets a little before cutting too. The wooden pegs slide out to allow hanging cut long pasta to be quickly dropped into boiling water by sliding the pasta straight off without further handling. Easy assembly allows quick use and disassembly allows quick storage.

What can I say ? It's a few pieces of dowel and wood that push together to make a drying frame when you need it. It is as solid as it needs to be and holds enough pasta for a meal for 4 people easily. (Might double up as a sock dryer if you get desperate). Well worth while getting if you are getting the pasta making kit Imperia Italiana Italian Pasta Maker Set.

Overall the stand is good value for money and when assembled, is sturdy enough for its' purpose.One or two faults that I felt could be improved on a little, some of the pegs fitted loosely and tended to fall out so I glued them in permanently, also the stand could have been a little taller, but all in all a useful gadget.

Does what is says on the box ! Easy to construct and means that you can dry your pasta easily and quickly, without filling your kitchen with baking trays.It does take up quite a bit of room, but you could easily unscrew the top and then store the square drying part vertically which would take up far less room.

This is really more for my wife than me since I only make the dough etc. She does the artistic bits,but assures me that this is a great help in her kitchen.We eat quite a lot of delicious Italian dishes so this will get plenty of use.

I love making pasta and this is really useful because it has to be dried properly and is delicate. This solves all those problems at a stroke

Should have bought one years ago. Easy to assemble/disassemble, stores back in the box, stable on the worktop
