My 4 yr old loves this game and would recommend it for ages 4 to 6 max.She needed little help to get going and quickly found that she both understood how to do the tasks and how to "win". We have found many other nintendo games are either too hard to "win" or so text based that it becomes very time consuming for an adult to sit and read out all the text in order for her to understand a simple game or task. Nice to find one that is not reliant on reading skills and yet is still educational, engaging and fun. (Her 6 and a half yr old sister finds this game fun but rather easy and got bored after a while - definitely aimed at the younger player.)

Was nearly tempted to buy our two year old daughter peppa pig hide and seek game for christmas but amazon customer's reviews put me off. Instead, the reviews for this product were much more positive and I can see why! It has an obvious Japanese anime style but doesn't put you off. Our daughter really likes it and likes the piano, getting the girl's dressed, musical instruments, colouring and puzzles. There is one particular puzzle which is a dancing flower and she loves it!! In fact, she gets upset if it has to change or I have to turn the DS off!Would recommend this game to parents who have little ones who love messing with their parent's DS!

I bought this as my little girl's very first computer game when she was 3 years old and she loved it. Obviously she couldnt read but I only had to tell her what each game was once and she then manouvered her way through each game and was fascinated by them all. It was purchased to pass the time on an extremely long journey and worked a treat. She is nearly 6 now and still enjoys to play it (I did it mum 2 also fab). It also helped her numeracy skills amongst other things. A great 1st game for a little girl (I'm sure the boy one is equally as good)

If you want to get your daughter into DS then this is the game for you, my daughter is 4half years old and has been playing this every night. The puzzles are nice and simple, the games are great and there is colouring too so a bit of everything to keep them happy.I hope there will be more of these type of games in the future, they are great for helping them to understand co-ordination with eye/hand movements and forces them to think about what they are doing.Excellent game:

i brought this game for my daugter who is 7 i know by the other reviews parents are buying this for pre school years... but this is great first game for my 7 year old has she is very behind due to hearing loss and speech and this is just great for her to be able to understand so i would say great for pre schoolers and also great for children that find following instuctions on a normal game a little hard im also thinking about investing in the i did it mum 2. overall great game

One of the best games out for pre school children to play on DS. Easy to understand games, fairly simple instructions and no reading required to get started. Games like pairs work just like the card games and my 4 year old played only this game for months before moving on to some of the harder DS games. Well worth the money and a game your little one can play for ages on her own while you put your feet up for a well earned rest.

I bought this game for my daughter who was 4 yrs old at the time. There are lots of different activities to do, which keep the child entertained for a long time. I really enjoyed doing some of the activities too - great fun!I have bought the 'I Did It Mum 2' as I was so impressed. Great if your child is 4 or 5 yrs old, although it may be too easy for a 6 yr old.Excellent!

This is a good game for very young players,with some very easy games for 3-4 year olds, and some slightly more challenging games for 5 year olds. I would not think it would be a good game for children older than that though. Only twleve games too, which seems a bit of the stingy side. Would recommend though, for the age groups specified, as it is achievable.

I bought this game for my(just) 4 year old with the aim to help keep her happy during a long trip which it thankfully did! She was able to understand what to do with relative ease but enjoyed the tasks enough not to get bored too quickly! She did not have to be able to read to follow what to do which meant i didnt have to keep helping her - everyone happy!!

I struggled to find a game that was practical for my 4 year old daughter. All games noted for 3+ were too hard. Received this game on a Friday and I sat down with her to play it, by Saturday my daughter was well away, playing it on her own. Would definitely recommend it. It has music, counting & colouring and more to keep the child entertained.

My 4 year old daughter is really enjoying this ds game as she can work out how to play it herself and has so far kept her amused for quite some time. On the down side I don't feel it offers much for older children and my 7 year old has already dismissed it. I would recommend it for younger children.

my 2 year old daughter loves this game it shows her how to do puzzles and colour things in and allsorts of other things and when shes done shes praised by me which has a recording of my voice on would recommend this game to anyone with small children.

My daughter is just 4 and was bought a DS for Xmas and someone bought her this game, she hasn't put it down it is very simple and teaches young ones to use the DS while also teaching them simple activities.This is a must for any young child.

We bought this for our daughter who has just turned 4. She enjoys playing it but completes all the games pretty quickly. If there were more levels increasing in difficulty it would get 5 stars. Overall good fun and worth buying.

My daughter is just 3 years old & had this game for christmas. She really enjoys all the varied games from the puzzles to feeding the Hamsters. It is very easy to follow for pre school children. Excellent
