I got my DS a few months back, and my 4yr old son started taking an interest in it but all my games were too hard for him. Until i found this one, he just loves this game. for anyone with kids ages 3-6 this would be ideal, as it's easy enough for them to do on their own. Some of the games are a little too hard at the min for my son (e.g counting one) but give it a few months and he'll be doing them. My son loves the train one best (not much to it as you just watch the train go round the track, but he can change the type of train and the speed, doesn't take much to impress - the easier the better. Educational, and entertaining for those long journeys. (tip - don't let them play for too long,i usually let my son play for 15mins at a time)includes drawing, colouring in, spot the difference, memory games, hit the monster plus more.....

I had already brought some DS games for my twin 4 year old boy's but they were too advanced, so I decided to give this one ago and I've been really pleased. The mix is just right between fun and learning. Their favourite game is the count one and has really helped them along. The other likes the bashing monsters and jigsaw games. The whole game its self is simple to use, they feel so grown up as they do everything on their own, no Mum or Dad needed to guide them through the various screens. It proved its worth on the 4hr flight to Tenerife, not a sound as their heads were down. It you're thinking of it then go for it, you want be disappointed!

I bought this for my 4 year old son and we were both pleasantly delighted. It has the right level of games, graphics and challenges to encourage and amuse him. The nature of games are quite like a pre-school education (coloring, music notes, drawing) but it has added challenge games like spot the difference, match pairs, numbers. To my surprise he also loved the little train that just runs around and around on different circuits (how anyone find that amusing is beyond me - kids!!!).I wish there were more games like these.

I bought this as my 4 year old son was desperate to play on the ds and as a lot of games require the ability to read he was limited to the ones he could play.He loves this game, in fact i have to limited the time he is on it. He especially enjoys the train game, the monster bashing and the puzzles.Would recommend this for ant 4 year old boy but beware they may love it too much!!!

Bought for my 5 year old grandson, after spending 5 minutes explaining how to play the mini games, he was able to play independently. He loved this game so much I have bought the second one for him for xmas. Well worth buying as a starter game and helps with hand to eye co-ordination and fine motor skills.

my 4 year old loves this game, its easy fun games, just right for little boys, it makes a change to have a game designed for the younger player which is non violent. a really good intro to ds games. its not too expensive and he will get a lot of use from it, best for 4-7 yr old in my opinion.

Got this for my three year old and he can play everything on his own and it keeps him entertained for ages! Lots of mini games so when he gets bored with one theres always something else all with the one game. Dont think it would suit much older than 3-5 age group.

I bought this for my 2 year old so he could play like his big brother! He loves it, making colored pictures and playing the musical instruments are the best, hes probably a little two young for some of the other games, His older brother also loved the train track!

Bought this for my son when he was 5 but he soon got bored. Probably better for younger boys. Saying that my daughter has the girl version and loves it, shes 6.
