This is the non variable speed version of the electric start mower in blue with free oil.Mine came with battery connected and didn't take long to charge. The mulch plug was already inserted into the back so this had to be removed prior to use with grass collector.Assembly was easy enough using the instructions and YouTube video. The one on the video was not exactly the same but close enough. I'm not particularly practical but had it all together within half an hour. Bought some unleaded and after filling with fuel and oil it started first time on the button.The mower has a wide range of cutting heights and is simple to set up for the cut needed.As mentioned in other reviews this is a heavy mower.

I had to bend the grassbox frame, and the lid in the machine to make it all fit together, so the factory QA isn't brilliant, but not a major issue. It's a Chinese machine, of course, the same as (it seems) 95% of others on the market - don't be misled by the Hyundai brand. The Chinese engine is the same as the Einhell mower I've just replaced, which, while a bit more rattly than I might like, was perfectly reliable for three years until the blade hit a half-buried steel pipe which wrecked the crankshaft. Be aware it's difficult to find spares for them, if any !This mower, being plastic, is lighter to use than the steel-decked Einhell. Negative points - there is no speed control,

I'm female, 71 and have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I've just tried my new HYM460SPE Mower for the first time. This one doesn't have a speed control and it's quite quick. Suggest if you have awkward angles to negotiate get the one with the speed control. Does a very good job and the electric start is great. Fairly easy to put together, which is good as the instructions are not brilliant. It isn't light but not much different from my old Mountfield petrol mower. At first I hadn't removed the mulch stopper to the grass box and the grass shot out of the side but eventually realised that the mulch thing just pulls out when you press in the release catch at the back of the upright tube (didn't see that in the instructions and couldn't figure out how to get it off at first).

My old mountfield mower was still working but the deck was slowly rusting away and holes were appearing in it so I was looking for a new one. After much research and reading reviews on various sites I came across this at a good price with the added bonus of being a self starter, it arrived in good time and was easy to assemble, it is heavier than my old mountfield but that may be a good thing as the metal deck seems to be made from thicker material and is powder coated, time will tell if it is more rust resistant.It starts easily with the press of the button and makes a good job of cutting the lawn,

Arrived earlier than expected. The handle and control wires need to be attached - the Hyundai website and videos on u tube are much better than the instruction manual. After charging the battery for 6 hours and adding fuel and oil you are set to go. The electric start is great and makes everything easy. It could probably do with a 2 or 3 speed or variable speed (available in other models) as the set speed is a brisk walk. It can make it awkward if you have a lawn with lots of curves like mine. Nevertheless it’s an excellent machine and I can cut my large lawn in 40 mins.

The grass box cover is a bit of a fiddly fit, but the Machine itself seems robust. It arrived by TNT a day early and within 40 mins. I was cutting the lawns, it started 3rd pull as the battery hadn't had time to charge, and once warmed up was easy to start starting first pull every time. After use I used the deckwash and plugged in the battery to charge up. once charged it starts perfectly on the pushbutton. Very pleased and would highly recommend it.

This is brilliant! The ultimate man toy and makes very light work of the lawn. Super easy to use and the electric start is great however you do have to manually charge the battery as the mower doesn’t have an alternator. Cup holders are ideal for when you’re weeding and cutting the edges but unfortunately due to the vibrations you will spill your beer if you use them whilst cutting the grass. Other than that, I can’t fault it.

This is without question the best mower I’ve ever had, I’ve tried different mowers over the years electric and petrol with wheels and hover, the last one I had was an electric flymo which took me two hours of hard work and felt worn out afterwards, but with this one on the mulch setting finished in 40 minutes and not tired afterwards. If you are after a mower for a medium sized lawn looks no further this is the one.

Used the machine for the first time this week and have to report machine worked very well.For someone who never had a petrol mower before the Set up was quite quick, few references to the manual only.Started first time and battery didn’t need full charge (couldn’t wait!) but will charge fully before next use.Special mention for the supplier when has been very helpful arranging a special delivery.

Extremely pleased with the mower. Although the assembly instructions looked a bit sparse it was in fact straight forward. One small suggestion - given the tension on the cables it is easier to attach the drive cable and the OPC cable before attaching the top section of the handle to the bottom section. After its first outing it has proved more than a match to my 100m lawn - all-in-all a good buy.

Simple to assemble with very few steps to do. Followed YouTube video (slightly out of date). Did the first cut today and a truly excellent job. Very simple to use, propels well and easy enough to manoeuvre on a turn for example. A very large collection bin and the push button start is perfect.

Really pleased with this purchase. Fairly straightforward assembly and great to use. The electric starter is a real bonus - no more tugging at ropes. Highly adjustable and cuts grass neatly, quickly and with minimal effort. Really good value and i wish I bought one long ago!

Arrived day after ordering, well packaged no damage in transit. Easy to assemble and appears to be a very solid and quality lawn mower. Following instructions, it started first push on starter button, very impressive did not have to charge battery. Highly recommended.

Brilliant lawnmower. I have a large new lawn and as the lawnmower is self propelled it cut it in no time! I am really pleased with this purchase. Also the grass collection bag is very big so it holds a lot of cuttings. Great variation in height of lawn cut too.

Just what the doctor ordered with the electric start ,easy to assemble just needs a modicum of engineering to get going, started first time and cut the grass easy and quickly no heavy pushing and feeling tired . Top marks for arriving very quickly
