I love its functionality! I carry it around all the time, I got it for backpacking trips as a back up water bottle but found its great for daily use. I brought it to a sporting event and was a huge life saver (and money saver) for sitting in the hot sun allowing us to fill up at the water fountain instead of waiting in the long lines to buying over priced water. Only reason why its not 5 stars is because there is a "plastic taste" to the water if it sits in the container too long.

Purchased two for our daily hiking bags. First time we used them, we were concern they would leak in our packs. Also worried about the durability. They held up on our first hike, but our concerns they would eventually leak or fail lead us to carry them empty as emergency spares. We carry a robust water filter and in a pinch, would use these as emergency water bottles, but we're not going to carry them full in our packs. They've worked great just sitting around our camp.

Bought one of these 5 years ago and keep it in my laptop bag. Cause it packs small, and is flexible when filled. Traveled around the world with it. Last week the cap broke (probably from many years of screwing the cap on tight) so I ordered another one and noticed that it comes with a lifetime warranty. I filled out the form online and received an email back the same day. They shipped me a new cap, so now I have 2! I could not be happier with this product and company.

This collapsible water bottle does the job. I like it's collapsed position as it easily fits into my fatigues (active duty Navy) without bulging up my pockets or being "another thing to carry". Also, a lot of people think it's really neat, so we often chat about it. great conversation starter. I also put it in my lunchbox (which starts pretty heavy) but by the end of the day is very light and easier to manage.

I would recommend hydrapak to anyone (after their initial generation where they worked their kinks out of their design). It’s a great product, I’ve been buying them for several years now, the only reason I have to continue to buy more is because my kids are great at losing lids. I’ve taking these bottles to training events, camping, workouts, you name it. These bottles are durable and built/designed well.

I’ve had it for 4 months now .This is an awesome cup with a good design ( you need two hands to drink with so don’t listen to stupid reviews saying it’s “hard to drink out of”). It will smell and taste like plastic for a while. Use citrus drinks or mixing baking soda and water will ease the plastic. Now mine has no funky smell or taste at all. So far so good and haven’t had any leaks or holes.

We took a 12 day trip to Europe and didn't want to lug around big water bottles or buy expensive bottled water, and this was perfect! Its easy and comfortable to drink from, I prefer using two hands when I drink from it. It collapses down to a very small size and fit easily in my purse. Its lightweight and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone traveling or even for a day trip.

Love this bottle. Works just as they said it would. Little tricky to pop it open the first time. The lid scares me a bit as the threading feels like it won’t last. But you never know. I am very pleased as its great as there is nothing worse than finishing all the water and then having to carry a big bottle around so the concept is amazing

Like some complaints here, water tastes weird after - might have to do the online remedy to remove the plastic taste. Practically requires both hands to drink, which isn’t an inconvenience to me. Also, to the people complaining this can’t stand by itself when it has liquid inside, y’all are tripping, because it totally can.

I purchased three of these in multiple colors. They will suit my purpose perfectly in that they stand alone and compact to a nice travel size. The only con I have is that they are difficult to open when in full lock position so I close as loosely as possible so that I can reopen easily. I would definitely purchase again.

Really useful bottle. Stands up on its own and is really lightweight. Also is really good to use for a dog bowl while hiking because you can squeeze the water to the top for them to drink. Doesn't leak at all. Has kind of a plastic smell and taste at first but it went away within a week or two.

I love this because it’s very sturdy. The material in the middle is soft but strong. You can leave the bottle with the lid off when it’s full. When it’s part way filled you’ll definitely need two hands to pour the water in your mouth otherwise the bottle will topple over. I love this bottle.

The Hydrapak items are nice to have and pack up nice and small when not in use. The soft sides make it a little difficult to drink from. They are really nice space saver when empty and being packed away. I like to use them as a spare water container to refill my normal bottle to drink from.

I bought this bottle as well as the bladders. Finally went camping this weekend and could not remove the taste of the plastic from any of the HydraPak bottles I purchased. I tried several methods, nothing worked. It was too late you return 2/3 products I wasted money one.

Got this bottle for air travel overseas. It was great for packing! However It IS hard to drink from. I also found it very difficult to get the bottom edges clean. I don't think I can recommend it, esp. if you need to pack and drink anything but plain water.
