I own an American Bulldog cross, he's a very, very strong dog who can change directions at a blink of an eye.I bought him as a pup and from day one he did nothing but pull, to the point it was sometimes painful. I have tried many collars, leashes and harnesses to correct this problem and after 12 months I now have a leash I feel fully in control of and my dog now walks to heal with a simple basic choker which I had from a previous dog. In my opinion this lead was the missing link.I now take the dog for a walk. Not the other around.The leash is super strong, really comfortable to hold and very fast to adjust the lengths,

My 6 month old sheepdog is a puller and very much a work in progress trying to get him to walk on a loose lead.I bought this lead as I wanted an adjustable training one for different environments and I absolutely love it. As soon as I picked the lead up it just felt comfortable and strong in my hands. I’ve tried other leads but this lead is far superior in terms of quality and comfort. It is heavier than standard leads, but this complements the lead making it more manageable to use which I much prefer. When I used the lead to walk the dog I found that it gave me more control, and my dog seemed to sense it too. It really is the best lead I’ve had.

This was supposed to be even cheaper when part of a qualifying order kver £20 but I think I had to pay full price in order to get it in the end. However, I am very happy with this item and am surprised it's a cheap as it is. Made of quality materials and substantial clips, the only possible issue could be the strength of the stitching - securing the clips and D rings to the leash. Time will tell. I have a Belgian Malinois so need a strong and versatile leash and I'm hoping this will prove successful. No reason at this stage to give other than 5 stars and a recommendation.

This is a very nice, sturdy and attractive looking lead, which gives the option of using it at different lengths - something which I have found handy, as I have it on longer length for my Jack Russell and doubled up for the Collie I take out for a relative. Bought lead on a Warehouse Deal. In all honesty, I may not have ordered it at full price but that's not to say it isnt worth the money. Just that I probably wouldnt pay £22 for a dog lead, being a bit tight!

Fantastic lead. I have an Australian shepherd that we are training not to pull, and this is the first lead that helps me handle her and pull her back (I’m not the strongest!) the different lengths are brilliant and something I’ve never seen before. Comfortable to use and looks really classy! Value for money is great. 10/10 as always with Hunter.

Versatile, strong,user friendly, best training lead ever. Clasp on each end makes it a winner.I use an over the shoulder goody bag for dog training,this bag has an eye attached to the strap. I hook one end of lead onto this when I am picking up dog waste,that is to say both hands can be fee and doggo stays with me.

Brought as an add on through Amazon, found to be a excellent lead. Quality very good, 10mm good size for handling. Ideal for varying the leads length pending on the type of walk i.e. sort for town walk long for park walks. Highly recommended if your looking for a rope lead for a medium size dog.

Fantastic lead! Not many like this on the market. The lead is stong and well made, also looks very expensive. The adjusting lengths are fabulous for the different places we take our spaniel. Excellent value for money. The best lead we've ever bought in the 10 years we have had dogs. Thank you!

This lead is of a good, high quality. The thickness of the cord means that if the dog pulls a bit it does not cut into the hands. The red is nice and vibrant. Nowhere on the lead does it actually state it is a Hunter lead though, but the label attached did.

A very good, sturdy product as you would expect from Hunter.I really liked it and it is the attention to detail which stands this brand out from the rest.I highly recommend buying this if you need a good, easy to use brown lead.

This is the second of these Hunter leads that we have purchased.We have a very strongly pulling Labrador and it is a very robust leash that you just know isn't going to break.High quality and lasts a long time

The reputation for quality of Hunter leads and collar is well known and this lead is as good as I'd hoped. I got this at the amazing price of £3.67. Whoever made the pricing error, many many thanks.

Amazing for the price, attractive and great quality, but as per other reviews it's very heavy - especially for a training lead as I often want it to drag on the floor behind my dog.

Great value lead, the material is strong and robust and the fixtures are large and solid. The diameter makes it comfy on the hand and the adjustments give plenty of flexibility.

Nice lead for small dogs. We use it for our jack tzu. I think would need a thicker lead for any dog bigger but it suits him fine. I wouldn’t use it for our border collie x.
