Bought for my 6 year old son for Christmas. I was worried that these would be poor quality but fortunately the plates are made out of rigid plastic and are not flimsy at all. Tricky skill to get the hang of and my son is still practising but fortunately I can do it, so thought I could teach him. Might be an idea if someone in the household can do this, to show everyone, or you know someone who can show you as it takes lots of demonstrations and practice!

My grand-daughter had been saying that she would like some spinning plates to practice doing it, I looked onto the Amazon page and had no problem finding some which I ordered immediately, they arrived very quickly, my grand-daughter (age 15) was delighted when I took the parcel up, she has been practicing it also her boyfriend, mother, father & small brother.

Having had a circus day thing at school, my 10 yr old daughter was very excited to have this delivered. She loves practising the plate spinning and is getting better at it every day. As she paid for this out of her own pocket money she is delighted with it and has no complaints. Let's hope she's not quite ready to run away with the circus just yet! ;-)

These spinning plates arrived promptly, and are good quality. My daughter was very excited to receive them - however, it's a tricky skill to master and can lead to lots of frustration when not able to do it! She's 5, and maybe that's a bit young to cope with how long it takes to learn the technique - I find it frustrating and I'm quite a bit older!!

Really good quality - 4 plates each with their own stick. Lots of fun. They were supposed to be a pressie for my 8 year old nephew who loves his diablo and wants to try plates now for a change. But once they arrived the whole family got involved in trying to get them to work - some of us were better than others - at the moment Grandma is the best!

Brilliant. We've had a lot of 'toy' versions of these over the years but these are the real deal. Nice length sticks and a good weight so they're easier to use than some others you can buy. Well, easy with a bit of practice but that's the fun of it! Great price for a set of four too.

This is much more difficult than it looks, but great fun to try (and fail at). The kids love it, plates flying everywhere, but for the price, you cannot go wrong. I suspect these will be out time and time again, but will any of us ever master it? Who knows.

I am no plate spinner but my kids wanted to do it after going to a kids party where an entertainer was spinning plates! I guess you just need to practise loads and them you'll get good at it. If youre into spinning plates I guess this product is great.

good for beginners. Robust and pretty. Start with the pointed end of the stick resting on the rim of the plate so the plate is hanging down; then using wrist (not elbow) start an anti clockwise spin. Voila!

This was purchased for my sister to give to her nephew. He had asked for this after having a go on a school holiday where they had some. He is happy with the present, and the delivery was very speedy.

So pleased with these. Great for all the family & friends to try. It's tricky to do well, but even the younger ones (my son is 5) can spin a plate with some help. Good value for money.

Purchased for work. So far so good. They have survived so serious robust play. Plates are brightly coloured. The sticks could be the only weak point, but are ok so far.

This has been a success with my twins and their friends learning different techniques with spinning the plates and using their mouth, hands etc to try different ways.

present for my 26 year old boyfriend... (we're big kids at heart) he loved it, really fun and can do some cool tricks. Does get boring after a while though
