I ordered a pack of photo paper based on what came with the printer; however, I hadn't realised that different paper photo paper has different strengths and weaknesses which could influence your choice. These are listed on the back of your paper pack when it arrives, but this is a bit late to know if you bought the right type! I couldn't find it anywhere on the web, so I've transcribed it here to help people pick the right type for their application. Bear-in-mind that these are the HP grading of their own paper:Note: the figures are scores out of 5 and Amazon reviews don't allow tables, tabs or additional spaces, so I've done my best to get the info across.HP Premium Plus Photo Paper / Overall 5 /Weight 280 g/m2 / Image Quality 5 / Fade Resistance 5 / Fast Dry Time 2HP Premium Photo Paper / Overall 4 / Weight 240 g/m2 / Image Quality 4 / Fade Resistance 5 / Fast Dry Time 2HP Advanced Photo Paper / Overall 4 / Weight 250 g/m2 / Image Quality 4 / Fade Resistance 3 / Fast Dry Time 5HP Everyday Photo Paper / Overall 3 / Weight 170 g/m2 / Image Quality 3 / Fade Resistance 2 / Fast Dry Time 4So pick carefully, based on what's important to you at the time, it's a balance between price, image quality, fade resistance and drying time. I personally have found HP paper really good.I hope people find this useful.

We have a Hewlett-Packard Photo Smart printer and we’ve found that the best results for the photos is using their brand of photo paper. In this box there are 100 sheets of HP Advanced Glossy Photo Paper. They are A5 in size, so they are 4 inches x 6 inches, (10 cms x 15 cms). The paper itself dry’s instantly so it doesn’t smudge, it has a high glossy finish, gives good colour and produces excellent quality of photos. :-)We’ve tried other cheaper brands but the photos never look as good and you have to wait till they are completely dry otherwise if you touch them they tend to smudge, (which makes a real mess of the pictures).:-(But the other brands were a lot cheaper as over the years the paper by the Hewlett-Packard had got really expensive.Anyway that was untill I found Amazon Warehouse and decided to have a look. I found that the Hewlett-Packard paper was almost fifty percent cheaper as the box was damaged. So I decided to give Amazon Warehouse a try as it would save me money and I could use the correct photo paper again. :-)When my pack arrived I found that as Amazon Warehouse stated it was only the box was damaged and the paper was in excellent condition. :-)I’m really happy with this purchase and I’ll be buying again from them again. :-)

This is brilliant photo paper, and produces exceptional results. Very sharp images with just the right level of gloss and great colour reproduction and contrast.Naturally, to get the best results, this paper need be paired with a HP printer and their vivera inks, which some of the other reviews don't take into account. If you do pair matching paper and ink, then you will be more than pleased by this paper, especially if your original photos are high quality too - no paper can make terrible photographs great! The only problem with this product, and with many photo papers, is the incredibly annoying "tab" that manufacturers insist on adding to one side of the paper.I can understand that the tab makes it easier to handle freshly printed photographs, but the tabs are almost never perforated properly, meaning that no matter how careful you are in tearing them off, you always end up with an annoying white line at the edge of the print. I would much rather leave my photos in the printer until dry and then handle them, but I cannot find photo paper without tabs anywhere...

Like most people, I no longer have a 'film' camera, but digital cameras, so rarely get printed pictures to share with others.I therefore bought a canon IP4600 colour printer and these blanks, and the results are absolutely amazing.Every detail is captured, it is sharp, and the colours are really rich without being 'saturated'.Sunsets show a perfectly graduated colour from orange and peach through to red and purple.Sea's are pale blue and green, and every wave ripple is discernable.I bought some HP 280g 13x18 Premium Plus blanks for 'special' photos I wanted to be larger, but to be honest, the 250g paper was better with my printer. It takes about 4 hours for the 250g paper to be completely dry, whereas the 280g paper took 5 days and even then was a tiny bit tacky still.I will use this 250g photo paper for every photo in future, I cannot see how it could produce a better result.Be aware that when printing photos the end result is a little cropped compared to the digital version, but that is due to the printing software, not these photo papers.

I really like photography, and it was with a tickling feeling of anticipation that I tore open the packaging, after all the prospect of 100 premium, glossy photos is very exciting. The picture on the front of the pack - a mysterious candid shot of two people by an old 2CV - had me intrigued, and I was expecting more of the same. I was initially disappointed, the stark whiteness of these images was almost painful to behold. I sifted through them, only to find that the photographer had taken 100 identical images of this white space. I am no philistine; I won't criticise modern art just because it's modern, or daring. And as I stared at the whiteness of the photos, I came to see the method in his blankness, and I understood what the artist was driving at. All in all, this is truly a premium set of images. One word of caution: the surface of the pictures is so shiny, and so flawless, that one's own life may seem matt in comparison.

... when it's in the HP Tango printer.I've had a few of these 60 sheet "10 x 15 cm" HP photo paper packs, and with the odd way the Tango calculates the paper size; printing borderless 10 x 15 always left a 2mm border at the bottom of the page. Reason being, this paper isn't 10 x 15 cm, it's 4 x 6 inches. What difference does that make? Well 4 x 6 inches is actually 10.16 x 15.24 cm, so the printers print-area is smaller than the actual page. Ooops. So, if you have a Tango printer, access the printers web page, go to Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management and change the "small" setting to 4x6in paper size as the default out-of-the-box setting is 10x15 cm.Apart from that, the print quality from the Tango printer on this paper is excellent, no bleeding & the ink dries quickly. Reds are slightly over-saturated and off-whites are yellowish, but that might be down to the printer driver.

I have recently got a HP Tango printer, which came with a sample of this paper which I used to print a few photos out on. I was impressed with the quality of the print and how well the paper held the ink with no colour bleeding. The end result is a glossy finish that is close to the kind of finish I would expect from photo developers. As the sample paper was good (and the Tango has a really good offer off unlimited photo prints from a smartphone for free with even the cheapest £1.99 instant ink package) I purchased this pack of 60 and have nearly used them all in a couple of weeks. The combination of printer, cheap ink package and quality paper has meant I have started to become a photo printer again (not just leaving my photos on a computer screen).

Fantastic photo paper. Much better than cheaper brands. The colour of the photos are more accurate as well as being slightly sharper. Tried a few other cheaper brands including; wilko premium and supermarket premium paper but they tend to be sticky and can jam in several printer models we've tried. This paper feeds through perfectly everytime in our hp envy 6230 and delivers an outstanding performance. Worth paying the extra to get what you would expect of a printer in this day and age.I would personally recommend buying the 300gsm paper for framing photos. For those who are making photo albums or are less particular about paper thickness, they are more than adequate.

The paper is great overall, doesn't dry as quickly as other paper but usually is dry enough to keep printing without having to remove the paper for each photo you print.I bought this paper as it seemed like a good choice even though I have an Epson printer. The one downside of this paper is it has tabs on the side of the photo paper with perforated edges i.e. tear away edge. Not sure why they decided to go with this, maybe it's for a specific HP printer but it's quite annoying having to remove each of the tabs.Other than that, good paper, good quality and a good price.

I have an HP 7250 multi-function printer and found that my Kodak glossy paper stock did not produce very good results at all. I ordered this HP Advanced glossy paper which I think represents good value for money in this 100 sheet pack. The results I can now attain with the correct printer settings are close to those from my local photographic print shop - I'll be sticking with this HP paper in future. Colours are realistic, images are clear and the finish of the prints is truly glossy - I like it a lot. Recommended.

This product is amazing and if used in the correct way can bring happiness to others. I bought this item with the intention of bring those special moments to life, and it sure does. My mother in law has not sent her brothers in 20 years and finds difficulty in remembering their faces. So I decided to help her by producing some pictures for her. Her reaction was an emotional experience for everyone. She has terrible eye sight but was able to see the fine details in the picture. I fully recommend this photo paper.

Very good high-quality paper. This is good for printing in full colour. Great size but you may struggle to get a decent A4 frame.Works especially well with a compatible printer. Specifically designed to be used within advanced HP printer. The ink will dry fairly instantly, however it is important to leave and let it dry for several minutes.Be sure to enter the paper the correct way in the printer and also be sure to test the print on regular paper first as sometimes the settings may need to be changed.

Yet another packet for the enthusiastic home photo printer and autograph collector. Take a celebrity's photo; nip home; edit and print (borderless A4 if they're important enough); pick it straight up and take it back for their autograph. Touch dry straight from the printer and unmarkable under normal handling conditions. Apparently HP Premium is better for long-term fade-resistance (yet to be proven by me) but it takes hours to dry. Thoroughly recommended product and at Amazon's current price - unmissable.

I get very good prints with an HP Envy 5546.However you cannot print double sided which would be sometimes handy.I emerged prints 10 minutes in hot water to test their resistance, no problems, no tear, no smear with genuine HP ink.It is to early to know about fade resistance which probably depends more on the ink than on the paper.I had only one time a paper feed problem having ordinary paper beneath the photo paper in the paper tray.Since the I don't mix paper types anymore.

Great price and as always great quality. Even in today with all the gadgets and screens there something about having pictures printed out. And using these pages you get really good quality little pictures, great size and if you set your printed to take its time and print at the highest quality you'll get some great print outs. Getting so many pages is amazing for the price, won't run out of these for quite some time and once I do run out I'll be buying more of them for sure
