I ordered a pack of photo paper based on what came with the printer; however, I hadn't realised that different paper photo paper has different strengths and weaknesses which could influence your choice. These are listed on the back of your paper pack when it arrives, but this is a bit late to know if you bought the right type! I couldn't find it anywhere on the web, so I've transcribed it here to help people pick the right type for their application. Bear-in-mind that these are the HP grading of their own paper:Note: the figures are scores out of 5 and Amazon reviews don't allow tables, tabs or additional spaces, so I've done my best to get the info across.HP Premium Plus Photo Paper / Overall 5 /

This is brilliant photo paper, and produces exceptional results. Very sharp images with just the right level of gloss and great colour reproduction and contrast.Naturally, to get the best results, this paper need be paired with a HP printer and their vivera inks, which some of the other reviews don't take into account. If you do pair matching paper and ink, then you will be more than pleased by this paper, especially if your original photos are high quality too - no paper can make terrible photographs great!The only problem with this product, and with many photo papers, is the incredibly annoying "tab" that manufacturers insist on adding to one side of the paper.

I really like photography, and it was with a tickling feeling of anticipation that I tore open the packaging, after all the prospect of 100 premium, glossy photos is very exciting. The picture on the front of the pack - a mysterious candid shot of two people by an old 2CV - had me intrigued, and I was expecting more of the same. I was initially disappointed, the stark whiteness of these images was almost painful to behold. I sifted through them, only to find that the photographer had taken 100 identical images of this white space. I am no philistine; I won't criticise modern art just because it's modern, or daring. And as I stared at the whiteness of the photos, I came to see the method in his blankness,

This product is amazing and if used in the correct way can bring happiness to others. I bought this item with the intention of bring those special moments to life, and it sure does. My mother in law has not sent her brothers in 20 years and finds difficulty in remembering their faces. So I decided to help her by producing some pictures for her. Her reaction was an emotional experience for everyone. She has terrible eye sight but was able to see the fine details in the picture. I fully recommend this photo paper.

Yet another packet for the enthusiastic home photo printer and autograph collector. Take a celebrity's photo; nip home; edit and print (borderless A4 if they're important enough); pick it straight up and take it back for their autograph. Touch dry straight from the printer and unmarkable under normal handling conditions. Apparently HP Premium is better for long-term fade-resistance (yet to be proven by me) but it takes hours to dry. Thoroughly recommended product and at Amazon's current price - unmissable.

Great price and as always great quality. Even in today with all the gadgets and screens there something about having pictures printed out. And using these pages you get really good quality little pictures, great size and if you set your printed to take its time and print at the highest quality you'll get some great print outs. Getting so many pages is amazing for the price, won't run out of these for quite some time and once I do run out I'll be buying more of them for sure

Super decent quality paper though annoying that some sheets have some marks on them (a sort of scuff mark) that ruins the prints in some cases (especially annoying when it counts towards your 100 prints for the month !). Still, very happy with the vast majority of the sheets and the prints come out really stunning. I have the 200gm ones as well as they are nearly just as good and a little cheaper ... still, they look great around the house covering my walls with my art

This is an excellent quality photo paper and much better than the Canon professional paper that I had been recommended for use with my Canon Pixma printer, the Canon paper has streaks running through it and looks gritty whereas this paper gives smooth crisp clear photo's with excellent colour.I only use genuine original inks for my printer having years ago used refillable cartridges which wrecked the printing quality of the printer that I had at the time.

I recently bought hp photo paper as well as some standard photo paper from poundland yo see what difference there is between them and what I am getting for my money. The truth is not much ahaha. I sre little to no difference. Certainly no 11 quids difference. Personally I would just save a tenner and go to pound land and get there photo paper just as good.Though if you are going to get hp paper, ya its great, a waste of boody money, but its great aha (Y)

I was extremely happy to have purchased this item. One of my hobbies is photography and I like to print out my photos to show to my family & friends. I had ran out of this particular paper and stupid me tried using another type of glossy photo paper, which I found out that you should not do this. Found out the hard way but you learn from your mistakes. Very good on price and I would highly recommend to anyone who loves photography and needs photo paper.

What you'd expect from the market leader for inkjet "photo" printing. Bright, brilliant colour rendition with a pleasing, non-sticky gloss finish. The paper is substantial enough for presentation and display, but flexible enough to run effortlessly through your HP Printer. Using HP paper with an HP printer means that all your settings are optimised for the media, but I'm guessing this quality paper will suit most, if not all, ink jet colour printers.

I was going to purchase two packs of this paper which is a bargain for this quality paper, i canceled the order at the check out after seeing i was getting charged twice the delivery cost which was then more then the two packs of paper put together. a discount on delivery for buying more than one would be good.i went for 4 packs and yes four times the delivery cost(not fair)it works out cheaper buying it at dearer price and free delivery.

This is very good glossy photo quality paper. I'm using it with a Canon printer and it is taking the ink perfectly, probably the best paper I've ever used. The weight is what you need for a typical printer, if you go much denser it'll have difficulty transiting through the feeder system. If you need photo paper for good quality photographs then GET THIS. I've gone through all 50 sheets in 48 hours and I've just ordered another pack.

I am no good at photography but strangely, my wife Eileen, who is partially sighted can take very good shots, mainly of our dog or displays of flowers she finds. Obviously we retain copies on our computers but sometimes I feel they are so good that I like to print off copies to be framed. Although eventually we need probably no greater size than 4" x 6", it is preferable to print out on A4 size paper and cut to fit the frames

The advanced paper is the only paper that is recommended for my printer (HPb9180), so it is the only one that I have used so far, so I can't compare it to any others hence only 4 stars. However, the paper is good quality and gives excellent results that I am more than happy with. The profiles are easily available from HP.com and work just fine. All in all, good glossy paper and easy to use (profiles).
