I ordered a pack of photo paper based on what came with the printer; however, I hadn't realised that different paper photo paper has different strengths and weaknesses which could influence your choice. These are listed on the back of your paper pack when it arrives, but this is a bit late to know if you bought the right type! I couldn't find it anywhere on the web, so I've transcribed it here to help people pick the right type for their application. Bear-in-mind that these are the HP grading of their own paper:Note: the figures are scores out of 5 and Amazon reviews don't allow tables, tabs or additional spaces, so I've done my best to get the info across.HP Premium Plus Photo Paper / Overall 5 /Weight 280 g/m2 / Image Quality 5 / Fade Resistance 5 / Fast Dry Time 2HP Premium Photo Paper / Overall 4 / Weight 240 g/m2 / Image Quality 4 / Fade Resistance 5 / Fast Dry Time 2HP Advanced Photo Paper / Overall 4 / Weight 250 g/m2 / Image Quality 4 / Fade Resistance 3 / Fast Dry Time 5HP Everyday Photo Paper / Overall 3 / Weight 170 g/m2 / Image Quality 3 / Fade Resistance 2 / Fast Dry Time 4So pick carefully, based on what's important to you at the time, it's a balance between price, image quality, fade resistance and drying time. I personally have found HP paper really good.I hope people find this useful.

Like most people, I no longer have a 'film' camera, but digital cameras, so rarely get printed pictures to share with others.I therefore bought a canon IP4600 colour printer and these blanks, and the results are absolutely amazing.Every detail is captured, it is sharp, and the colours are really rich without being 'saturated'.Sunsets show a perfectly graduated colour from orange and peach through to red and purple.Sea's are pale blue and green, and every wave ripple is discernable.I bought some HP 280g 13x18 Premium Plus blanks for 'special' photos I wanted to be larger, but to be honest, the 250g paper was better with my printer. It takes about 4 hours for the 250g paper to be completely dry, whereas the 280g paper took 5 days and even then was a tiny bit tacky still.I will use this 250g photo paper for every photo in future, I cannot see how it could produce a better result.Be aware that when printing photos the end result is a little cropped compared to the digital version, but that is due to the printing software, not these photo papers.

I recently bought hp photo paper as well as some standard photo paper from poundland yo see what difference there is between them and what I am getting for my money. The truth is not much ahaha. I sre little to no difference. Certainly no 11 quids difference. Personally I would just save a tenner and go to pound land and get there photo paper just as good.Though if you are going to get hp paper, ya its great, a waste of boody money, but its great aha (Y)

I was going to purchase two packs of this paper which is a bargain for this quality paper, i canceled the order at the check out after seeing i was getting charged twice the delivery cost which was then more then the two packs of paper put together. a discount on delivery for buying more than one would be good.i went for 4 packs and yes four times the delivery cost(not fair)it works out cheaper buying it at dearer price and free delivery.

The advanced paper is the only paper that is recommended for my printer (HPb9180), so it is the only one that I have used so far, so I can't compare it to any others hence only 4 stars. However, the paper is good quality and gives excellent results that I am more than happy with. The profiles are easily available from HP.com and work just fine. All in all, good glossy paper and easy to use (profiles).

Chose this after reading other reviews.I am not a photographic expert and only have a basic 3-in-1 HP printer so only really wanted reasonably decent qhality photos. This paper has produced better than expected results of both old black and white and more recent colour photos stored on my laptop.Very pleased with my purchase and glad I went for better quality paper that hasn't let me down yet!

Having used a non branded paper previously I was not satisfied with the darker colours - especially night time shots. The HP paper (used with an HP printer) was far superior - although I'm only talking about holiday pictures with basic editing via Picasa and not near professional quality. Day time shots were marginally brighter, but the difference was not nearly as great.

I originally gave this product a 3* review as it was not delivered as the photo depicted in the Ad. BUT each pack in plain plastic did contain 85 sheets and not the 50 as the pictured packaging. The product is good and each sheet marked HP Advanced. Furthermore the detailed copy does say that the product is plain wrapped so would certainly buy again.

I had previously bought this paper in store and was already impressed by the quality of prints it produced. A huge bonus is that the ink is, truly, instantly dry. I decided to order through Amazon because of the value for money and am delighted with the quick delivery time. I have now ordered this product twice and will, no doubt, be back for more.

It's HP photo paper - what more is there to say. It works perfectly, prints quickly, comes out dry and you can't tell the difference between it and a developed photograph. If your printer can "sense" the mini bar code on the back of the paper it chucks out 6 x 4 prints non stop every 20 seconds or so.

It is my understanding that when used with HP Vivera inks that this paper is suitable for archival printing i.e. the colours last a long time with out fading. I've been pleased with how bright the colours still look on the prints I made several months ago. It's the best paper that I have used.

Instant ink referral code (4 months free ink): lvQvqVery good quality paper for the price. Gave good quality prints with no visible print marks and streaks. It also dries within a minute of printing so there's no need to worry about having to leave them out to dry.

Product was exactly as described and once again under the Amazon banner was cost effective, did everything it claimed and was delivered in advance of expectations.Once this has worn out or been used I will return to this buyer for a replacement.Thank you

This seems to be good quality genuine HP photo paper and as such is good value for money. It is also 7x5 which I cannot find on the high street. My one reservation is that, whilst the paper bears the HP logo, it arrived without any outer branded packaging.

I bought this paper at the same time as HP Premium photo paper to compare the two and the Avanced is far superior. However neither are as good a my previous paper which was bought at Aldi, but unfortunately they have not stocked it for quite some time.
