I needed a skinny, compact washing machine. Selected this one because of other reviews and have used Hotpoint before.I expected the drum would be vertical (like other top loaders I've used) but it isn't. They've put a large diameter but narrow drum in there, so the capacity's pretty good. There's a little door (in the drum) you need to open to load/unload. The spin only goes up to 1200, but you can do this on every wash if you like which is a bonus.The timings are a little erratic (the 15 minute wash takes nearer 18 or 20, for instance) and it seems to take forever when stopping.It comes well packed, but you'll need a socket wrench or similar to remove all the necessary screws (read the manual)

We needed a machine that was easier on the back to load/unload, value for money, was economical to run and gave good results. This machine ticked all the boxes and because there isn't a counter weight is light to move around during installation or if it needs moving later. It also takes up a lot less space than a front loader. Very very good washing results and about the same laundry capacity as a front loader. Good purchase if you have a utility room but not if you want to use this in a fitted kitchen with a continual work surface. Looks like reliability is likely to be good.

I am on my 5th machine and love it. Only have a small space and this slim line model is ideal. Great choice of wash programmes including a short 15 minute wash and spin which is ideal just to freshen up garments. Good spin speed and not overly noisy, but I do have mine in a cupboard.Top loaders are great for 'add to' once the programme has started, ideal for the odd sock that you left on the stairway and missed.I will buy another when this one wears out and can highly recommend.

Just love this top loading washing machine. Should be more of them. So easy to use, no bending. After years of bending to use a front loader washer, I am now very happy to stand and place my laundry into the machine, which I had done this years ago. This machine e also takes up less space than the front loaders and takes the same load.also enables you do do much shorter washing cycles for once a worn garments.

We brought this washer for our static caravan.Its smaller size allowed us to get though the doors and into the room where it was to be plumbed in. We were surprised how quite it is and the vibration is not that bad under the circumstances. Doing the washing is like doing it at home on our normal machine. Used it five or six times now cannot fault it .very easy to use

Brought this machine to replace an earlier version of the same. It just works, reasonably quiet etc. What more can you say.Then the wife spotted paint bubbling over rust along the rear edge of the metal lid. Clearly inferior to the previous models all plastic lid. First time in over 40 years when I am going to have to respray white goods.

Lots of programs to suit all. Very easy to use. The 1200 spin leaves clothes dryer than my 1400 rpm Beko! This is because it spins longer. Great for winter. I would have liked a quicker 60 degree wash but that's just being very picky. I would have given 5 stars if the top spin wasn't so noisy

delivery was terrible. had to sit by phone about 12 hours a day for most part of the week . driver very unpleasant. he did apologised but still left me with washing machine in boot of my car. cute. washing machine was dripping wet inside and out.

Choice of machine limited as I only have a small space in my kitchen but this machine fitted fine and was delivered within the timescale promised. Only used it once so far but no problems.

I love this washing machine, a great selection of programs some really quick wash ones. I wish it had a faster spin but it's not a problem in the warmer weather.

Quiet and very versatile with excellent controls. Range of programs with short wash options and delayed start is good if you have economy electricity at night.

Well designed and easy to use. Washes can be halted to add or subtract. Drum supported on both sides gives extra life. Our wash results very satisfactory.

Love it, great size and does a great job. Very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a smaller washing machine.

I like it . Its simple to use . Simple to plumb in. It's a lot slimmer than a regular washing machine but you dont loose the drum size

Very good, love 15,30, & 60min wash. Good wash & Spin. Time saver button grt idea. I don't have heavily soiled clothes to wash!
