On the whole, great value for money, but with a tedious lack of basic instructions in manual AND online too! Sadly, the touch screen keyboard renders email & texting both difficult & trying. Totally unsuitable for anything more than just a few basic words. This shortcoming also makes accessing sites with long addresses & mandatory long passwords re access difficult & time consuming too! Fortunately EE offer 1000 mins. of calls in their package I have, which means I can call people extremely cheaply instead of texting or emailing. Dealing with my BT emails will be mainly left to my laptop, as BT refuse to provide a link on their MyBt & email Apps, from my account to the email service. Very odd,

I bought this for my daughter to replace a Huawai P8 Lite 2017, the P8 was amazing for the money, the Honor is very, very good, however, in this age of finger print unlock and dual lenses it feels a bit behind the times and a backward step, which is a little unfair of me, after all this phone is CHEAP.On the positives, big screen which to a teenager is a 'bonus', resolution is apparently 'great', all her favourite apps work, she misses finger unlock, doesn't use the camera that much, but it's 'fine'. Cases are easy to find and it looks 'fine'. What more could you want for the price - repeat the positives. Big Screen 'Bonus & Great' Camera 'Fine', Apps 'Work'.

I bought this phone for my dad for a Xmas present and he is extremely happy with it. It has a large screen but still a nice slim design and the battery lasts him for days! It has a pop up selfie camera (which keep him entertained cos he keeps pressing the button!) plus a 48mp camera that has taken some wonderful photos. I was also looking at other brands of phones and read so many reviews before I purchased this one, I am so glad I chose this one for him. It has everything he wanted and more..

I bought the Honor 9X back in January because I already have an iPhone but it struggled with medium/heavy use for study/entertainment/everyday use. I didn't want to get a massive tablet but still wanted a fairly large screen for doing work and entertainment.I have to say that considering I paid about £400 less for this than my iPhone, the Honor 9X is incredible. The screen size is perfect for watching movies (very immersive), reading books, web browsing and even studying/work. Perfect!

Obviously straight away you buy a case and protector for the glass. 48 mp rear camera is awesome. music player is all right when you play on loud speaker, but awful with the original ear buds (also it's a 3 stripes jack, when you wanna replace it, pay attention to that). Great energy saving and long life charge. I listened to music at work on loud for about 3-4 hours, and played game on it after on the way, still had 50% battery when I got home. It's a bit big, more like for 2 hands use.

Brought this phone to replace my moms old iPhone 5s - she is in her 80’s and she did not like the keyboard layout and could not get used to it being android. My son now has this phone and my mom has his iPhone 7 as a straight swap. Review of phone from my teenage son is “dat do be zooming” !! I know it is a lot faster than my iPhone XR, the camera and the screen is also better. The pop up camera for selfies is excellent. My son can not fault this and has moved from iPhone with ease

Nice phone works perfectly good quality pictures and design but missing some features like NFC in this days a lot of people's paying with phones. With this one you can't ho play games on phone like call of duty or bigger resolution having games, this phone allows you play on only very low quality withs is not nice at all, but phone is good if you not need these features. I'm using this phone about 6 months and now seeing that it's going slower, so make your choice before buy

This phone is as good as the honor 8x in its design and feel. There is so much to go through to customize it to your needs. The silfie camera is neet, the way it pops out of the top, and the picture quality is amazingly sharp. Sound quality on some albums is not as good as the honor 8x but saying that through a quality set of ear plug it gets better. The only down side is, yes it duel sim but at the loss of the sd card.HONOR 8x had 2 sims + sd card together.

That's a great value phone.This phone is also receiving updates regularly with Android security patches.Pictures are not that great but very usable.I wish it came with less preinstalled stuff inside (some are facebook, swiftkey, some random games etc)Battery on standby after removing / disabling a bunch of apps is fantastic. Can last easily for 4 days on standby which makes it perfect for a secondary phone!

It's a great phone fast and easy to use. The camera is great I mean it looks like a movie screen when taking them. The battery is good. Depending on the use you don't need to charge it throughout the day otherwise can last. But even so, if you're a full-on phone user you will only need to charge it once throughout the day. So in 24 hours is twice. I would recommend the blue colour.

Has a pretty decent battery life. The screen is large enough to watch films or YouTube videos on the go. The camera is perfect for phone type photography and has a decent selfie camera for taking pictures with your mates. The dual sim card helps me for when I am traveling back home to Ireland and back to the UK making it easy for me to switch networks for each region or country.

For the cost of a decent phone these days can be absolutely ridiculous but the honor 9x is well worth the price. Its camera quality at 48mp is fantastic amongst a list of other greats this phone offers. By far the best phone in its price range and even better than some other phones which are double the price of the honor 9x

I previously had a Sony Xperia xa. This Honor 9X is the Rolls Royce of phones compared to the old one. The design is great. Screen is perfect for size and picture quality is very good. Fingerprint unlock is perfect idea especially for someone as forgetful as myself. I would definitely recommend this model.

Excellent phone. Read some online reviews which ware on us sites. Couldn't believe the hatred they have towards Chinese products. Obvious propaganda! The phone is excellent good large screen, long battery life, fast charging, excellent camera, good sound. Battery lasts me 24h with heavy usage.

Prior to purchasing this phone, I watched a number of video reviews. Every review was very positive of both the phone's build quality and specification, especially for the price. I have had the phone for well over a week now and I am very impressed with it. I would definitely recommend it.
