As described by the manufacturer works perfect can be taken outside and alsoused in out buildings provide you are not outside the two hundred metres as specified by the manufacturer .I have three of them working of one wireless door bell,works well if your in the garden or in your shed .The door bell battery last around a year and thebatteries in the Honeywell wireless series’s 9 last around three years so overhaul it’s good value for money
