An absolutely terrible APP, written in China with poor translation in places, no info and complicated for such a simple device, they are using ten year old technology... I have had same problems as everyone else, three hour plus to even get it to start to work, done on the table first thank heavens.Trying to connect to WIFI is just ridiculous, compare this to a RING which takes two minutes, if that.Always having to go into either manual set-up or search network... pathetic.The camera build is however quite good and is MAINLY waterproof, needed for UK, many aren't, check... however the USB connector on the back which you can use is completely open to the elements, I spent some time fashioning something to go over this,have you seen a Micro USB port with water on it, rusts after an hour....Having finally installed it, unlike when it was done on the table the sound is unusable, it is hard to try it before installing it properly, I bought this so I could speak and listen to who was at the door, totally impossible, sounds like an express train going through a tunnel, with other random noises in the background, did they never test this before selling it to the unsuspecting public...The picture quality is good, the motion detector is good, you need to set the phone to have full access to the APP and its settings, I have done this on two different phones and it will just not send the message that someone is at the door, the whole reason to have it... I have tried everything..To fit an SD card for the memory you have to take the whole device to bits, tiny screws on the top, split the waterproof case and seal, slide the card in and put it all back together without moving the seal.. what is that all about...The APP itself apart from not working has the menu items randomly laid out in different drop down menus, you will find sound settings under video settings, and anything random you can think of, trying to find anything is frustrating to say the least.So apart from no sound and no notification it works well as a door stop, I cant even say it works as a wireless doorbell as there is no alert...The manufacturer, Amazon and Homeguard should be embarrassed about selling this device, look on line and you will see many reports of it NEVER working, one person even said they gave up after days of trying but theirs does work as a doorbell so are leaving it at that...I'm not trying to put you off but make your own mind up, when it never works write your review and let the rest of us mugs know.Cheers

I bought this instead of a Ring because the Ring was too wide to fit on my door frame. The installation instructions are fine if your doorbell has the terminals they show - mine didn't and it took me about 3 hours to finally get it working.It claims to have a one month rolling free cloud storage - it doesn't. If you try to connect to the cloud storage you get a 'Timeout' every time.The manufacturers website doesn't work, and has no contact support.The audio sounds like a Dalek and echoes and loops.Have now uninstalled it and asked for my money back.

Do not buy waste of money. Needs an electrician to install, no memory card slot like it says, cloud storage is terrible. Constantly loses connection so WiFi despite being only 2 meters from router. Motion lucky if it captures 3/4 videos a day. No aspect of it works as it was sold or described complete waste of money should of got a ring doorbell

it didn't work. It would not pair with my existing chime, even after getting in an electrician to check my wiring. I e-mailed the manufacturers and the supplier. The former didn't reply and the latter had no idea. Sent it back.
