Bought for wild camping. Fits into my bivvy bag when fully inflated and packs down nice and small whether rolled or folded; fortunately Highlander had the good sense to provide a decent sized storage bag. Quality is very good and seems like it will be reliable. Each chamber inflates seperately so the odd midnight puncture shouldn't be a problem. Some reviews have suggested that it is quite narrow so let me clear this one up. I'm 5' 8", 13 stone and fairly broad and find the mattress plenty wide enough to give good support and comfort. It's also slightly wider than some comparable, competitors airbeds. My priority was comfort, followed by size and weight so decided to go with an airbed rather than a self-inflating,foam mat. The Highlander is very comfortable, light and small when packed away. Only slight annoyance are the valves which you have to squeeze to get air in or out, especially as there are six. I have remedied this by using a football, pump adaptor which opens up the valve and means I can easily inflate each tube with just three good puffs and is far less fiddly. If you're looking for a good quality, lightweight and comfortable airbed I would definitely recommend the Highlander.

I bought this for a friend as every time her family visits she ends up sleeping on a few cushions on the floor. I can report that the air bed works fine, easy to blow up and above all it is comfortable. It came as a very compact unit, I doubt it will pack up so small now that it has been inflated unless you have one of those pumps that suck as well as blow and then you might get it down to its original size.I am assured that the mattress is comfortable and it only takes a minute to inflate or deflate with a two way foot pump.

I've had air beds before however, they either burst/deflate or not long enough. These are robust, long and comfortable so, suitable for hard ground. Although they seem quite narrow, they support you extremely well.

A great low cost alternative to 'self inflate' beds. Inflates to 10CM thickness, giving plenty of cushioning / insulation. Rolls down to small package that easily fits in your bag or can be hung on the outside

Great airbed if you need to travel light.Considering how light it is, it is very comfortable. It is a bit narrow, but still OK for a grown man, and sometimes it is an advantage to take up less floor-space.
