I recommend this game for fans of High School Musical. It's not impossible to complete but it's challenging.You have to spin a triangle round a wheel so that you follow the melody line. If you get more than three stars then you can move up to the next level. However if you miss the melody line you just carry on watching because the characters dance anyway.Also you can get quizzes which are quite fun to do and allow you to collect things for your yearbook (same with the dance levels), except you have to lie so you can get the second item for your yearbook.If you get five out of five stars on every dance level you get to the bonus round (I haven't done this yet)

I bought this game for some young HSM fans to play but decided to give it a try myself! There are 29 songs and different levels. (I was playing it for about an hour and a half and began to realise that my muscles were going to remind me about that tomorrow!)I read somewhere about the controls being awkward. They're not - it's all about co-ordination and it does take a little while to get the hang of. There are a number of tutorials to teach you what to do and it's best to have a go at each one at least once (so you know what's coming in the game). I found that I never did very well in the tutorials - I started to get the hang of it when I played the game. Once you get going,

I bought this game for my step daughter this christmas as we are both fans of the films. I had seen a preview of the game on-line and it did look a little complicated. However, after our initial frustration we soon realised that it was quite simple and if you played in time to the music you soon progress quickly. My step daughter is 8 years old and was coping very well with the junior level, I, however, have now advanced onto senior level after I worringly realised I had spent 5 hours on the game in two days. My husband is not happy! My only disappointment was that it is not the original cast members singing the songs, though you quickly get over that as you become more obsessed with the rountines.

I bought this and as an adult I do find it tricky trying to get the response from the nunchuck or remote required to gain points as real effort seems needed and I can see why children particularly the younger ones would struggle.I actually bought this not so much for HSM although the films are fine but as a form of alternative exercise as I have done with another game. It does actually work because if you are determined to get every last little point you will make the effort to move.I would recommend this game but think that it should be more aimed at teen and adults and there should be some sort of easier version for the younger kids.

I bought this game on the assumption that it would be similar to Just Dance where you copy the actual dance moves. However, it is not like that at all. It is basically the dance mat game but using your hands instead of your feet. I would definitely recommend this for use as a party game rather than solo because if you found it as easy as I did, even on the hardest level, you would complete the entire game in the space of a couple of hours. However, playing it with my friends made the game a lot more fun.If you enjoy high school musical then this is a good game for you, as long as you don't expect to be learning any of the dances.

I bought this game for my 7 year old daughter. It's really good fun! The tutorial goes on a bit, but you can skip it,as my daughter did, and get straight into the dancing. It's highly addictive as you get to unlock more songs, and also the levels of difficulty go up depending on how well you perform. The songs are cover versions, but very good covers, so don't spoil the game at all. We all love this game including my 11 year old son!!

I bought this item for my 8yr old grand-daughter who is absolutely mad about High School Musical. She loves it and is dancing all the time. along with her 5yr old twin sisters.I loved watching them playing it and it looks such a good workout I think I might buy one for myself, and I am 68 yrs old!!!! How bad can that be - much better than buying one of these exercise DVD's.Brilliant - go buy one!!!!!

I really enjoy playing this game (and I'm 21); it's great fun to play with friends and all the songs are really happy, 'feel good' tracks. The graphics aren't fabulous, but that isn't important for the game. It is much like a dance mat for your arms, with some fun silly poses and movements inbetween. Definitely one of my favourite wii games.

Although when learning the basics makes you feel slightly stupid, from then on it's just great fun. And if you try to get A+ i.e. no mistakes, on every song, every level, there's always a challenge, even when you've completed every song on every level. And the music's awesome, what more could you want?

Bought as a Christmas present for a 6 year old. It's fun and keeps them moving which is great on these cold wintry dark evenings. You get a great choice of songs and get to sing as your favourite character in an outfit you choose aswell. Good fun if you're a fan of High School Musical.

Terrific game for the Wii for all ages with hours of fun and laughter. I,ve even had a shot myself lol.Graffics are ok but the music and the dance moves make this game excellent value for money.My friend paid nearly twice the price that i did, so Thanks Amazon.

My 5 years old loves this game, she struggles with the writing and needs help but loves it so much it's a job to convince her to put it down. It's definitely easier if your child is a confident reader, but with help even the younger ones could play it.

My seven yr old really enjoyed this game , it kept her engrossed for some time. It is good value for money as not full price purchase. The games are challenging for a 7/8 yr old although not so hard that they cant do. Maybe too easy for 10yrs + though.

I bought this for my six year old daughter for Christmas & it is a great hit. She knows the songs & has got the hang of what to do a lot quicker than I would. Not sure this would be for anyone who isn't a die hard HSM fan though. Good purchase.

My 7 year old daughter is a HSM fan and loves this. I haven't seen what the game is and what can be done but my daughter seems to adore it and few weeks after I bought it she still loves it. At that price I would say it is worth the money.
