I saw this recommend on a few sites to create a shelter/cooking area rather than getting a tent extension, which for my tent you cant get anymore. As it happened half way through setting up camp the rain started pouring down, i think it took me about 3 mins to unpack and get a temporary shelter up for everyone to hide under. I added a line between the 2 main poles to help with sagging as i had it set up diffrent from the picture, this addition proved to be very handy for drying towels and other wet gearThe poles are good with a wide base and spike on, although they were not quite tall enough for anyone over 6ft, i did have to use a third (longer) king pole from the tent to raise one end,

When I first opened the package I thought I was going to be disappointed as the outer bag looked like something you would buy in a supermarket. But the product is well made and has been designed by someone who knows their stuff. The material is light to save weight but the seams and guy points are reinforced and I think it will last well. The pools are painted black with a stainless steel spike and a plastic foot with a small spike to stop it sinking in or slipping around. The guys are strong yellow and black para cord and the pegs seem nickel-plated or stainless. All in all a good product and the poles will still be useful even if the tarp tears in a few years time. Recommended.

I bought this to use as an additional shelter alongside our small campervan. It is well made, two good solid poles but beware... it is large!! .... good job I didnt go for the Tarp 3!! If you are looking for something that packs up small but gives a good shelter then give it a go but just think carefully about how big you really want it before selection tarp 1 2 or 3.

Great product for a bit of shade and shelter. It's big and a bit fiddly to put up, as per any tarp, but worth the effort. Poles are sturdy, and make up most.of the weight of the product. Comes with lots of guy ropes and reasonable quality tent pegs. We used it as a covered area.to link a few tents.at a festival, and it was brilliant. Recommended.

Great tarpaulin, used to good effect as a cheap porch extension on a Coleman instant Dome 5 tent. Lots of guy lines and eyelet points to attach more if required. Proved stable even in high winds, although a little tricky to actually put up in a high wind. Overall an excellent product.

This was a great purchase. Gives sun and rain protection and also extra privacy if you pitch in the right way. It's first outIng survived blustery winds and a thunderstorm. We tend to camp minimalist, small tents and stoves and this gives excellent shelter shade out of the tent.

Bought to use like a gazebo on a camping holiday with friends. We used one more pole than provided (a left over from an old tent). We were all able to gather together comfortably and keep dry despite some really rough weather.

This is big and perfect for extending your tent for an outside kitchen. Bought some extra poles from Vango Vango Adjustbale Steel King Poles (Set of 2) - Black, 180 - 220 cm which are also excellent.

Great tarp.. lightweight easy to erect..I just used a length of paracord to form a ridgeline and we had a massive living space undercover... then it was sunny and moved our stuff outside...

It is huge. I mean really big. You'll need at least two people to put this up if it is windy.
