I bought this for my cat to play with and he absolutely loves it!!It's quite difficult to describe what it's like in terms of how it feels, but it's made of rubbery plastic that is rigid when you throw it about and firm enough to make a ball shape, but also very bendy and flexible, so when you apply even a slight bit of pressure it will squash and bend. It's as light as a feather, you can't even feel it sat on your hand, so very easy to throw and also perfect for kitty to bat and roll it around the floor.Because it's so soft and flexible, it's great for him to chew on as well, as he loves chewing things. And he can grab it easily with his toes and claws, because of all the holes in it.This really is a fantastic toy for cats!!I wish I had known about them before this; I only discovered them the other day because my friend bought one for her baby and when I saw it I thought what a brilliant toy it would make for my cat, so I went out and bought one the next day! It's completely safe for pets as there is nothing that can break or snap off, nothing that is sharp, no corners, it's just soft, rounded, flexible and feather-light - just purrrrfect! Also, the card it was attached to states that it's dishwasher safe, so if it needs a good wash you can pop it in the dishwasher without it being destroyed!

Took me a while to decide whether to buy this as on the face of it I think it seems a bit pricey for what it is and doesn't seem that thrilling to play with. However really glad I did! This was the first toy my son started to show an interest in and hold - around the late two/early three month mark. Initially in one hand and now with two, I believe it's helping him learn to use both hands together (often as he tries - and fails - to get it in his mouth!).I've had to retrieve it from the other side of the room many times, so I've clipped some Bright Starts links to the ball for me to hold the other end of so it never goes far! This also means I can clip it on to other things like his activity gym.My partner and I also throw it to each other with my son sitting in the middle and he enjoys watching us!He's now four months old and it's his favourite toy, keeping him entertained for ages. For the amount of use it's had, the benefit for his coordination, and durability I'd say it's definitely been worth the money for us.

The mind boggles at how people come up with ideas such as these. How did someone realise it would be so effective? This is a great toy! My 4 month old is obsessed with it and was immediately upon me opening it.It's really light and the 'o's of the ball are perfect for little fingers up reach in and grasp so the ball can be held (or thrown around the room in excitement)The ball is quite squishy which I liked- it means my baby can shove the edges into his mouth and try and chomp down. He's unsuccessful for the most part as he hasnt quite worked out how big his mouth is but when he makes contact there are no hard edges to upset him. It's our go-to toy of choice at the moment. No bells and whistles,no squeaks and rattles just simple fun. (And I also discovered that you can fit a dummy clip onto the ball and attach it to said 4 month old so the ball is within grasp during car journeys - genius)

I bought this for my 5-month-old shih tzu puppy and it immediately became his favorite toy. He wasn't very into balls before this, but he loves this one and plays with it every day. It's lightweight so it rolls away easily, even when he doesn't mean for it to. This means that he can play with it by himself - accidentally hitting it and then chasing after it. He also likes biting on it, and while he's biting on it the holes make it easier for him to hold it between his paws. I was a bit worried that he would bite through the plastic, but he's had it for a few weeks now and hasn't even left any bite marks. I think the plastic is probably stronger than it looks. Plus there are a lot of different places on it for him to bite,so he's not biting the same place over and over again and weakening it. I definitely recommend this ball as a dog toy. It's great!

I discovered this toy accidently and I was presently surprised how a simple toy can be so engaging! My son is not yet 2 months and already enjoys this ball. It is lightweight and easily grasped as the holes are large ... but not too big meaning your little one will be able to hold the ball firmly. It collapses when squashed which I find a great feature as he can happily (at the moment try to) put it in his mouth/hit himself without injury.I agree with other reviews that the colours are not extremely vibrant. I believe the ball is despatched randomly meaning you can not select what colour you will receive. The blue/green ball was received, which is fortunate as it was for a little boy.My tip would be to purchase

Great ball for little kids of any age. The ball looks like its solid, but it is both rigid and very flexible, and well made, so when thrown it will hold its shape, but then flex and bounce when it lands or impacts something, and if it accidentally hits someone, it will be very unlikely to cause harm. If you can imagine its similar to how a soft foam ball would flex if it impacts something, thats a pretty close representation, but its a bit more interesting to look at :)

My son absolutely loves playing with this ball. He is currently 4 months old, and due to the design of this ball he is able to hold it by himself. It is bendy, squash-able and my son seems to think its great for chewing. I have a toy to pram strap and the o-ball works great with this. I can easily attach this toy to the pram so my son can enjoy playing with it when we are out and about with no worries of it falling on he floor. Great buy. Brilliant!

We bought this for our little one when it came highly recommended by a friend. Our LO loves this as she finds it very easy to grab and hold on to. She never holds onto things for a long time but because this one wraps around her fingers easily she can keep it for longer.Because of the way its built she can also teeth into it so she enjoys the multiple functions it offers.Good buy!

My twin boys love this, they've played with it from 6 months old (now 11 months) - it's so simple in design but really intrigues them & it's great for a young baby to hold onto or pass it from one hand to the other with ease. I don't know why it's such a good toy but I'm pleased I got it for them - I also bought them one with beads on it & they like that just as much too.

Perfect for a wee one who can't hold a ball, I'll admit I was disappointed with the colours I got but swapped with a friend so I got the one in the picture. My son loves it has he can hold it in his hand. A simple idea and fun too! I saw a mum clip it to a chain on a buggy which I thought was a good idea. The ball is VERY light and doesn't cause much damage if thrown.

My baby is 3 1/2 months and is not really that interested in many toys yet. However, this grab toy is absolutely brilliant at engaging her.I've watched her in the last two weeks go from not particularly interested to looking and grabbing the ball, flinging it across the room!Colours are great and eye catching, best toy i have for a young baby.

A good toy for small hands to get use to holding, my daughter kept dropping at first but is getting better at holding on to things now. I would recommend as the silicon material is very flexible and hopefully will be a toy that continues to be use full. Also very easy and quick to wash when it gets dropped on the floor.

Bought this for my 3 month / 13 week old. She loves it! It's very grabbable for little hands learning to coordinate themselves meaning much less frustrated screaming and they can just about chew on it. Watching her trying to get the whole thing in her mouth is too funny.Well made, easy clean great product.

Great toy to get very young babies to begin to grip onto things. Encourages newborns to open their hands more as the unique design means it's one of the only things a small baby could hold onto. It also bends & retains shape so you can cram it in the baby bag without breaking it & take it out with you.

Lovely toy for my 3 month old! He's learning to grip things now and this has really helped him. The only.downside is there should be an option to chose which colour you'd like as he ended up with a pink and purple one! Luckily he's too young to know the difference but there should still be the option!
