Marvel Captain America Civil War Scope Vision Helmet MaskPart of the merchandising drive for the new Avengers Hollywood action adventure movie which premiered in LA today and comes to the UK on 29th April. This is a sturdy plastic half-face mask with an eye covering and plastic projectiles on an arm on the side that swings upwards and out of the way. The mask attaches with straps at sides and back (to stop the mask slipping forwards). Press one button on the arm to illuminate the 'scope' and the other to fire the plastic darts. The mask comes supplied with just 2 of the plastic darts and when I popped into a shop selling this range they didn't sell replacements so that could be a problem.===

The cap is part of the merchandise which is being released to cash in on the Marvel Civil War film which is released at the end of April 2016.The problem is that as a “play” item it is a little uninspiring. I would hope that once the film is released and the children see how Cap uses this in the movie that they will be inspired to play with it more than they do now.When they first took it out of the packing they looked at it, tried it on and spent a short amount of time playing with the sighting and missile firing system.The missiles don’t fire with much force or go very far which was a relief for me but an annoyance for them.Other than that it has been used to play Apache pilot (a similar eye sighting system is used by Apache helicopter pilots)

The age range for this helmet is 5+. I would say 5 is about right as the helmet does look small in the box. Pressing a red button on the side of the projectile launcher illuminates the scope vision. The colours are green, orange or red. The helmet is made of sturdy plastic so shouldn't break easily when it comes off during a fight with Iron Man. The wearer should be supervised by an adult when using the projectile launcher. When the film hits the theatres I would expect this product to be very popular. My advice is get one now. Recommended.

Excellent product little lad is superhero mad. Another product to add to his collection had some naff ones but this is top draw very happy.
