My daughter (9) just bought one of these 2 days ago for £40 with her pocket money, it gets pretty annoying fairly quickly to adults (though I doubt any more so than the original was to our parents) I think the app is a great way of modernising furby. HOWEVER 2 days after playing with it my younger daughter decided she wanted to buy one with her pocket money as well, by which time it had gone up by £14 seems pretty steep price increase. I can't really justify £54 at all for it so will wait till it drops again. I guess my sticking point is less with the furby boom itself (which my daughter thinks was well worth the £40 she spent) and more that Amazon give you no one real indication of when sales end of change.Apparently even at £54 its still reduced however given the price 2 days ago that don't impress too much.Aside from that annoyance my daughter, her sisters and their friends think this is fab, they had an original furby off eBay and think this is way better, the speech seems clearer, the body movements improved, the electronic eyes give more character and my daughter thinks the feature of pulling the tail to get it to fart is hilarious. At the end of the day she was the one that saved her pocket money for months and she is giving it the thumbs up which is what counts but even she wouldn't pay full price for it .

My Daughter,6, loves this little guy and she actually believes it is real. The App adds some interesting features to the experienceand I have also added a small Furbling of the same colour to the family and both my Daughter and the Furby Boom love it.I cannot fault this product except maybe it can get a bit annoying, but if you shut it in a dark place it goes to sleep so not really a problem. They have many personalities, Angry, Diva, Baby, chatterbox depending how you look after it. If you feed it too much it becomes a bit of a slob and develops some serious sounding bowel problems, its voice also changes much to my daughters amusement. If you keep pulling it tail and it gets really mad and changes into evil Furby and becomes sarcastic, rude and disobedient.Furbys are great fun for kids big or small and are great Value for money !

My daughter loves this, the only thing she complains about is that often the voice changes and it's like having a different Furby Boom again. The ones she has so far made friends with is:'Kee-doo'-the chatty one (female)'Kee-doh'-the chubby farting one (male)'kay-doh'-the the sweet and cute one (female)'kee-boo'-the annoying teenager (female)'rock-doo'-the rock star one (male)and probably some more- AND THEY'RE ALL IN THE SAME FURBY! (that's why we all love it!)- it just depends on when it decides to change voices.Otherwise, a very soft, very cute and very fun interactive toy. The free app is really interactive and makes the Furby much more fun than playing alone.

Bought this for my daughter who loves furbys... She liked the look of this one specifically but this particular furby we found even though they have many personalities, it's tend to revert to a boys voice quite a lot but my daughter loves blue. There are other colours so with great thought, we changed this for a peacock furby (green and blue) and this seems to be a more girlie one so daughter is happier:))) this one has a girlie voice and giggles lots unlike the blue waves one, who's voice we found more boyish... However the product of furbys themselves are fantastic with many personalities... But the voices are different for each variety...,something to bare in mind

Bought this for son after getting earlier one for our daughter. He is only 2 and loves it wont put it down. to be honest it has been put in the utility room a few times to go to sleep!! Both wife and sister are now raving about getting one and they are slightly older than my son. one thing though it goes through batteries like going out of fashion. I use rechargeable top of the range Duracell ones and after about 5 or 6 hours of on /off usage they need replacing. now just getting packs from the pound shops and using them. Excellent toy that has already been dropped and abused a ton and is still going strong.... go on get one!!

Bought this for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. She loves him, perhaps a little young as she cant understand much really, but she wanted if cos I bought her two cousins one each for Christmas, so she just had to have one too lol. They can all chatter at once, which is like the children too, so I just switch off and its all ok! They love them so I love them, and at the end of the day thats what toys are for, for fun and cuddles, what more can you ask for?

I give this item 5 stars because it was delivered very quickly,I was going to buy this furby on eBay but a month later it still hadn't been dispatched. When I thought cancel the order on eBay I then thought buy doing that it will take another month for it to be delivered but,it took shorter than a month. The furby is in great confusion (as I would hope because it is new) but it couldn't of been better. So 5 stars from me :)

This present was the best on the day. Not only is it fun to play with by itself, but using the free downloadable app to a tablet phone or whatever, it extends indefinitely. Daughter in law wants one herself now, so that she and her daughter can play together as the furbies will communicate. You do need lot of batteries as it uses them up pretty quickly if it's played with a lot. (Which it will be!)

bought as a request from my 11 year old grandaughter and I was delighted that Amazon had it in stock which is difficult at this time of the year. It was delivered a day later than expected but still in time for me.It was in a box and well packed with no damage. however, it won't be opened until Christmas morning but i am confident it will be in perfect working order.Thank you Amazon

This was the perfect gift for my ten year old boy. He absolutely loves Furby and I have to admit I do too.The company gave us an actual day for delivery, rather than a two to five day delivery slot and Furby did arrive on the day they told us.I was impressed with the whole service and would recommend anyone to buy this.

son loves it, but for grown up, it's the most annoying kids toy I have come across, keeps making noises "seeking attention" , there is no off switch so either I have to remove the batteries ( which is tedious) or bury it in the other room under a pile of cushions.....buy it if your sure you love your kid that much

Great quality toy....provides the whole family with giggles at the best of times. My daughter simply loves it and it has its own "penthouse" in her room....part of the family now....lol! My daughter also goes online and interacts with the Furby, and the Furby is programmable too. Comes highly recommended!

Love it (My son) We hate it ! Chatters away in corner ! Hours of pleasure for the kids. excellent gift, 6yr son loves it! We wish it had an on off switch and volume control! Value for money yes! Hours of enjoyment for my son. Gets on parents nerves a bit but if my sons happy then 5 stars! He loves it!

What a fabulous toy. Couldn't understand why it was so expensive until it arrived. It's brilliant. Loads of fun, especially if connected up to the IPAD app. Don't understand why some colours are more expensive than others, I'm sure they all do the same thing.
