Normally I would be quite scathing about dolls with unrealistic body proportions, and would be reluctant to give them to my young daughter. I will cut a Frozen doll a bit of slack though, because the stylised bodies of the characters in the film are more akin to the dolls, so there is more justification for making Elsa thin than there is for other Disney characters, like for example Snow White. At least in this case it’s a close approximation of the characters. All, that is, except for the eyes. The eyes are Barbie’s eyes, not Elsa’s eyes. The way they sharpen to a point at their inner bottom corner just doesn’t match the rounded, more natural-looking lower eyelid shape of Elsa. You can even see it on the picture on the front of the box. It’s the one detail that gets it wrong, but it’s an important detail. As a doll, it’s of a decent quality but not exceptional. The hair is tied very sharply back when it first arrives- again, not a great match for the film character- but once your daughter has jiggled it about a bit, it looks a bit more comfortable. The accessories do seem a little bit stingy, just the shoes and a tiny plastic flower for the hair, though I suppose plot-wise that’s sort of justified. Our daughter was obsessed with the costume change in “Frozen Fever” from the very first time she saw it, so finding an Elsa dressed in her more Summery Frozen Fever get-up rather than the pale blue number she’s normally seen in was a bit thrill for her. It’s a nice costume here, two-layered with a fragile green mesh layer above the shiny, glossy green decorated dress. It’s quite tasteful, and a good match for the short film.We watch “Frozen Fever” quite a lot in our household- let’s be honest, that’s because it’s so much shorter than “Frozen”...- and in no time our daughter had this Elsa doll reciting a fair chunk of “Making Today A Perfect Day”, complete with interestingly mis-interpreted lyrics. Our daughter would give this doll one million stars out of ten, I’m now her favouritest Dad ever apparently (not a wide competition but pleasing nevertheless), but I’m going to settle for “4 stars, very nearly 5” because while it’s decently made, the eyes are wrong, and a couple of extra extras wouldn’t have hurt.

As with most children, both of my children are still Frozen mad and absolutely adore Elsa and Anna and so there has been a few excited squeals from them at the arrival of the new Anna and Elsa Frozen Fever dolls (we have both dolls). These new Frozen Fever dolls are by Hasbro who have brought out a new collection of all of the Disney Princesses. Both the Anna and Elsa dolls are styled from the Frozen Fever short film and so Anna is wearing a copy of her green, yellow and blue dress which is adorned with sunflowers and also has a waistcoat just as with the film character. Anna also has a removable yellow sunflower hair clip, black shoes and her dress can also be removed if wished. Her legs are coloured yellow rather than removable tights. The doll's arms can be moved, her head can be turned and she can be put into a sitting position but unlike for example Ever After High dolls, she does not have any wrist, elbow or knee movement. Having said that we also have the Mattel Frozen Fever dolls which I bought for my children for Christmas and they are exactly the same in movement and so this is not something different that Hasbro have done to the original versions. It's hard not to compare the two versions when you have them and I would say that the Mattel versions outfit has more detail to it as it has a patterned waistcoat rather than the sparkle one with this version and the gold trimming on the Mattel version also makes a difference as with the fabric hairpiece. I do however prefer the face of this Hasbro version.Anna stands at approx 28cm tall but with her hair approx 29.5cm tall and she is suitable for ages 3 and over however my younger daughter is quite happily playing with her and the Elsa doll. A very nicely made Anna doll that is quite a good representation of the character however I don't think any doll manufacturer has got her facial features perfectly yet. A lovely doll that is bound to be a hit with any Frozen fan as both of my children love her.

Initially I wasn't quite sure what to make of the name this doll is marketed under, a “Frozen Disney Classic Fever Anna Fashion Doll” and to be honest I was expecting a doll of Anna that was pale and feverish just like in the film when she became ill.Happily this is not the case, the doll is happy, smiling and healthy looking. I think they might want to look at the order of the words in the headline. My daughter thought the doll was fantastic, she particularly liked the summer dress in silk with sunflower print on it, short sparkly gold coloured waist coat and the hair in a bun. It is her favourite character, she commented that she liked the outfit because the other ones she has have winter clothes. The doll also has removable plain black shoes. Her legs are light green plastic which I expect is the colour of the ‘tights’ she wore in the film. The doll seems robust and while the shoulders and hips rotate there is no movement in the knees or elbows. It is a shame there is not more articulation in the arms and legs though the head can be turned. There is also a cheap looking yellow plastic hair accessory that reminds me of the rosettes they pin to animals that have won best in show, but I think that this may be a hair clip. All in all it is a nice outfit she has on and I am sure Frozen fans will love this doll as my daughter does, but I’d have liked to see a little more usability with elbow and knee joints for the price so that it can be posed in different ways. I was in two minds whether to give this a 3 or 4 star rating because the lack of articulation in the limbs which I feel effects the value for money stakes, but the fact that my daughter likes it I decided to go for 4, just.

This is the second doll marketed under a “Frozen Disney Classic Fever Fashion Doll” that I have reviewed and again I was expecting a doll this time of Elsa that was pale and feverish, I realise now of course that this is not the case. The doll is actually happy, smiling and healthy looking though I still think they might want to look at the order of the words in the headline of the advertising. Fashion Fever might be better than Fever Fashion perhaps. My daughter thought this Elsa doll was fantastic, she particularly liked the long silky summer dress. She did comment that she liked the flowing outfit because the other one of Elsa she has, has winter clothes. The doll also has removable turquoise shoes. The doll appears reasonably robust and though the shoulders and hips rotate, like the Anna doll there is no articulation in the knees or elbows. This is a shame though the head can be turned.Again as with the Anna doll there is also a cheap looking plastic hair accessory in pink/purple that still reminds me of the rosettes they pin to animals that have won best in show, though I know it to be a hair clip it is a bit cheap and plasticky. In conclusion Elsa has nice outfit and Frozen fans will love this doll as all Frozen fans do, and also as my daughter does. Still,I would have liked to have seen a little more usability in the toy with elbow and knee joints so that it can be posed in different ways. Again I was in two minds as to whether I should give this a 3 or 4 star rating. The lack of articulation in the limbs I feel effects its value for money, but my daughter likes it I decided to go for 4, but only just.

Frozen remains one of the most popular Disney movies of recent times, and my girls remain steadfast in their love of both Anna and Elsa (I personally think Olaf and Sven stole the show but what do I know?!).This version of Anna is a nice, simple doll. No fancy accessories (no bits to lose) and a straightforward jointed body. It's an easy and realistic doll for them to play with. I love watching them play with this one, probably because they sing my favourite song (love is an open door) rather than Elsa's overplayed (let it go) one.!Packaging wise, it's visually appealing but most importantly, very easy to open and not much to throw away.Highly recommended for Frozen fans everywhere.

This is one of a new collection of Disney Princess dolls by Hasbro. This is a Frozen Fever Anna, in her pretty summer dress and waistcoat. The doll itself is a little basic – the arms and legs do not bend, although she can sit. The only accessory, as such, is a little flower hair clip and both the shoes and the dress, can be removed. Her legs are pale green, as she does not wear removable tights. The hair clip could be easily lost, so I have used a clear elastic to keep it in place.Anna has a pretty face and her hair is in a bun, as it is in the Frozen Fever short film. I like this range of dolls – they come nicely boxed and there are a number for Disney Princess fans to collect.

This doll is dressed in an all in one pretty silk skirt bodice dress. The bottom of the dress is decorated with pretty sunflowers and there is a little dragonfly on the bodice. She wears high heeled shoes and a sparkly gold waistcoat. Her hair is thick and red and styled with a fringe, a bun at the back with a decorative platt. There is a little yellow plastic hair decoration. Her clothes are removeable. Her arms and legs are jointed but not bendable. The general quality of this doll and her clothes are good and my granddaughter loves her.She comes in a nicely presented box with just a couple of stretchy plastic ties to cut to remove her.

Dolls can be some of the most expensive toys that you;ll buy for the little "princess" in your life and to see this new range from Hasbro that brings the Disney Princesses to life is a delight. At 26 CM tall they are a good size, have good articulation and for our family, have been a lot of fun, especially when watching various Disney films (as well as, in this case Frozen Fever.) The dress has translated very well and for us, is going to give our little girl a whole lot of fun. Add to this a good solid price (£11) and all round it can't be faulted in our opinion. Great stuff

Play factor might be limited by not having dressing up potential (clothes removeable but I am unaware of availability of other costumes) or the ability of fully articulated limbs (she can sit) but it is the ownership on an Anna doll is what gets a little girl excited. It triggers the memory of the film and is a companion when watching again (and again).Suitable when the child is of an age to realise this is not a sturdy playtoy and cannot take rough handling.I am dubious whether this would be a collector's item if stored.

I prefer the Barbie Elsa we have in terms of looks but this is still a good doll and larger than Barbies so easier to free and get her high heels on and off. They do seem to fall off a lot with this doll though. Elsa's skin tone has a deathly white pallor compared to the Anna in the range which looks fine. The dress is lovely and glittery and luckily the glitter doesn't transfer unlike others in this range. A good doll for a Frozen fan with a lovely hairstyle.

My youngest daughter (6) loved this doll. She is crazy about Frozen so this Elsa was a perfect gift. The doll is sturdily made, slighly smaller than a regular barbie and great for kids to play with. It comes with a few accessories - shoes, hair clip, etc. The girls have had many hours of fun with these Hasbro dolls. Perfect!

This doll and a Frozen non-Fever doll both went down very well with our 2 nieces (7 and 4). I've seen some comments about eyes not being right (they are a bit cat like compared to Elsa's) but there have been no complaints and the girls love them. Perhaps not one for collectors but then toys should be played with!

This was a great price and is a very nice item - my one criticism is the face. Not sure what I'm not keen on but think it may be the shape. My daughter couldn't care less but that's the one negative for me. Otherwise, great, no complaints whatsoever.
