There is no physical version of this game released in Europe as of April 2017 but you can pick it up on Nintendo eStore for £19.99 (which is what I did).I was rather hesitant to buy it after reading critics reviews on gaming sites as they were mostly average to negative - it was 49 on metacritic at the moment. However, the user reviews on metacritic were much higher so I decided to give it a go.It is a Roguelike real time strategy game with an ingame pause.. it is also like a cross between plants vs zombies and Final fantasy. I've had it for about 4 days now and I literally cannot put it down. It is a very difficult game and you will die a lot,but that makes success feel so much sweeter when it eventually comes.Although the game play is repetitive it is also very addictive as it involves a huge amount of strategy to use all of the games deep combat system, racking up combos and using spells and attacks at the right times on the right enemies.I recommend watching some online videos and if you like the look of it, give it a shot. Learn the systems and the games random maps mean you have an infinite amount of gameplay at your finger tips. Perfectly suited for the Switch.

This is an odd one. A lot of gamers seem to have skimmed this game as being too hard and too based on the random dungeon structure and enemy types. A. J. Meyer's comparison with Plants Vs. Zombies is a good one, because essentially this is a rogue-like tower defence game, but the very idea of that turns you off, hang on a minute. This is a surprisingly addictive little game with a lot more depth than it first appears. Initially the runs are short: 15-20 minutes of intense tactical play brought to an end as your heroes are quickly swarmed by undead. But as you unlock more of the game (and there are an enormous number of item and hero unlocks) play sessions become far longer and you have a lot more choices for abilities and dungeon paths.Although it works well as a handheld, you could certainly justify pouring hours into this on the large screen.File under "fascinating time-sink".

This was fun, but it's too difficult for me. I would need more time and patience to play through this. The battling takes place on a continuously side scrolling plane, you have to make action before the enemy gets close to you. The attacks take place once the timer has got to the top, at that point you can choose to attach or use an ability you have.I have made a video for this on my YouTube channel, CrawlinUK Games, this gameplay might best demonstrate how battling takes place within the game.
