Absolutely beautiful product. Very well made. Sturdy and strongThe reason for my rating is the clear indication that I had to pay more for a brown family. I call that all kinds of names I won't repeat. How disgusting and shameful. I only brought it because I had to!couldn't find anyone else selling a brown family for less than the extortion I paid. I literally could go on and on. Why is the brown family more? Is it because we are more valuable? (Ha Ha- their unlikely reason) what about the children from mixed families? Do they have to pick to be either white or black? Why can't they have toys that represent THEM? 2019 21st century and this is how it Is? This company needs to rethink their pricing.

HD kids club was started up by residents on Henry Dickens estate during the Grenfell fire. We bought a block of flats doll's house to mimic the way our children live and it has been important to populate it with dolls that reflect the community.These dolls have proved a big success and the children - boys and girls, use them.to act out family stories both real.and imaginary.For many children who don't have much control in their lives, this is a really useful way to literally put power into their hands.Thank you for your tiny people.

These are lovely and were bought to go with the Hape dolls house. They stand up well and are easily posable. My daughter is three and very dextrous, so manages these well, whereas I think her brother would have struggled at her age and become very frustrated. So bear in mind your child's level of development when considering these. It's a really nice little family to start the dolls house with.

There is not anything i can say about this dollhouse! I searched and obsessed over which one to get my 4 yr old and this kept coming out on top. It was easy to put together, good quality, looks nice, and my daughter loves it!One piece was broken when we opened it but Amazon sent us a new one 1 day delivery and exceeded in customer service expectations.Would def recommend!

Yes, these were pricier than other wooden dolls but I have bought many many wooden dolls for my children and the quality of these stand out. They really area a 'Hape' family with smiles and vibrant colours. I am extremely happy I bought these and my 4 year old is even happier. She kissed every member as they came out the box.Now for the naming...

Arrived on time, neatly packaged and dolls protected in own box. These dolls are all beautifully made and the garments stitched well. The picture advertised does them no justice as they are so much better. Great addition to the other dolls my children already have. So happy that I was able to purchase a black family as they are so hard to find.

I bought one of these for each of my 2 and half year old grandchildren (a boy and a girl) . I just think a set of people is a versatile essential for any toybox and they will hopefully have all sorts of adventures over the years. They're not dolls as such, they are people to populate all sorts of imaginary games.

This set complements my existing dolls house and dolls. I use these as a great educational resource, particularly with children who need support with speech, language and communication. You can bend the limbs of the dolls and they are reasonably good quality. Delivered promptly and well packaged.

Delightful little characters, perfect for the Hape Doll's House.My 3 year old grandson & friends have had hours of fun already. I love the grandparent dolls. My daughter commented on how sturdy the characters were with nice details & thought they must have been expensive. Great value for money

I love having a black family. My child can identify himself and we create many adventures. However, I still don't get why they cost way more than a white family. Surely something needs to be done as it is not fair that I have to pay more to be able to find suitable toys for my child.

I am really happy with these dolls. It does not bother me (as some reviews have said) that the hands are plastic. I love wooden toys, but do not mind the hands. They are sturdy and stand up to a lot of play from my 2 year old. Highly recommend!

It's difficult to find toys representing Black families, but Hape have produced a great set here suitable for young children.Durable, poseable and colourful, providing hours of imaginative play for young children.

I bought this family and the Caucasian family for my grandchildren to play with in the dolls house. I am pleased with the quality of both wooden families and they are pose able to a certain extent.

Good quality dolls. Bought for early years setting for doll house play. The kids have enjoyed playing with them. Good for ages 3 & up, but safe enough to have down with babies around.

Lovely dolls but annoying that the black family are much more expensive than the white family! Why are they not the same price? Why does racism have to infect the toy industry too?!
