I made the major mistake of purchasing shower taps that did not have a thermostatic control when we switched to a condensing gas boiler. Whilst it was possible to set the shower temperature it had to be constantly regulated depending what was drawing cold water when showering. After a few months I decided to purchase a thermostatic control and have never looked back. This control head is excellent and holds the temperature immaterial if other items in the house are using water, the controls are very easy to turn and it looks extremely well. Wish I had bought it first time round and not wasted the money on the non thermostatic taps,

Love this tap! Replaced a cheaper mixer tap that had stopped working. No more cold water shocks over the head when switching from bath to shower, no dripping in between settings, easy temperature control with gradual & comfortable change from cold to hot. Sleek, stylish, simple design. Mine is deck mounted and fits well with the pillar unions I had. I also replaced my shower hose - chain-like, stretchy and very difficult to clean - with the hansgrohe shower hose, which I can also highly recommend! Extremely pleased.

Beautifully weighted, no flimsy cheap wanna be metal material :), Great price and easy to install (please use a cloth to avoid scratches).The mixer is seemless, there is a locking mechanism between shower/tap option and cute metallic colours from yellowish to orange to grey on the temperature side.Sleak design and easy to keep clean and shiny. This is the 2nd mixer I've purchased from this brand the first one is still working and looking perfect after 10years.Highly Recommended.

Well made. Easy to use. Buttons to override eco settings are sturdy and trouble free - if you actually need to use them. Excellent thermostatic control. Previous mixer was flimsy, a struggle to adjust, plasticky and broke twice in the two years I put up with it before losing patience. AND it was a supposedly good brand. Highly recommend this one, though of course it is still relatively new and can’t speak for its long term durability.

When my original thermostatic tap stopped mixing the water properly I wasn’t sure whether to hire a plummer (expensive), or simply buy a new tap and install it myself. I took the latter option and I have to say that this shower mixer is very solidly built and easy to install. Hansgrohe is a quality brand and I would buy more of their products in the future. Everything feels very well engineered.

Fit straight onto the existing pillars from the previous mixer. It doesn’t need to be wall mounted. If you don’t have pillars they readily available from Amazon screw fix tool station etc.Much easier to switch between bath and shower than previous mixer. Positive stop between bath and shower.

After spending almost £200 in a futile attempt to fix our Grohe unit, we decided to replace it with anything-but-Grohe. This Hansgrohe unit was the answer --- seems well made, solid, works beautifully, was easy to install, and is better than the more expensive unit it replaces.

Works really well. Easily operated by our childeren too. Good as you can set the temp for a bath and know it'll be the right temp for your childeren. You can set it running and not faff around with getting the temp right which is ideal for a busy parent. Very pleased.

Can't go wrong with a Hansgrohe, really happy with the tap. Well made, and controls the temperature perfectly. Well worth spending the extra money for something that lasts longer. Slowly replacing all my taps with Hansgrohe!

I have now installed four of this type and they all work well.Very good quality feel and finish.Excellent temperature and flow control.a little more expensive than other makes but worth it for a quality job.

Purchased to replace an Ecostat 1001 SL that was 11 years old. So easy to install - just two nuts and seals, flush through, attach shower hose and done in 20 minutes! Great price and quick delivery - recommend!

Best shower control we have ever used - in 60 years of travelling! Positive accurate action, perfect temperature control. Very well made. Expensive, very much worth the price.

It was recommended by my handyman and I can't be happier. Easy to install (he did it), resistant, doesn't loose water when you turn it into the close position. Just perfect!
